Our server reminded us that the restaurant had a promotion on Tuesdays and by paying with Visa we would enjoy a 30% discount. After paying the bill we noticed the 30% had not been applied so we requested the charge be annulled and a new bill issued. The manager refused our request saying she had no authority to do so. We argued over this for at least 10 minutes during which time she even threatened to call the police (we invited her to go ahead).
