This hotel gave us horrible vibes and service. We had booked for a 2 bed room through Expedia, and the hotel front desk went to a great end to adamantly refuse us the reservation we paid for and reserved online. She then went on to try to get a great deal of extra money out of us (money that we did not have), to give us another bed. She then told us the manager does not own a telephone. Do not trust the intentions of this hotel and be very careful.

Great place especially for the price. Right near to Playa Hollywood and it is set 3 streets back from the beach road which means it is a lot more tranquil than other hotels I have stayed in, in the area. Breakfast included is very good, rooms are “guest friendly” there will be no added charges to you. The staff were simply amazing very nice helpful friendly people. I enjoyed actions on the terrace on the 6th floor to catch the last of the sun.

Marvelous stay! Staff is amiable and attentive. Rooms and common areas are very clean (small rooms), breakfast is A1; nice variety of Colombian dishes, tropical fruits, breads, eggs, arepas, suero (cream), fruit juices and Colombian coffee. The location is great! Near to supermarkets, restaurants, beach, hospital, pharmacies, dentist offices, beauty salon, liquor stores, taxis, etc. The only negative comment is laundry; DO NOT get laundry service; it’s super expensive more than one night stay! Anyway, I will definitely stay again!

Rooms are small as advertised but the staff is great. Went for my birthday weekend and they made sure I felt extra special. The area is great! Lots of food options to choose from and litterly steps away from the beach.

Clean, nice, and cozy. Good location, close to restaurants, supermarkets, ATM, and shops. The hotel is very close to the beach; they have beach towels and always attentive to any additional requirements. It has a nice terrace to enjoy the breeze. Very friendly staff, very nice (and small) room and best of all the breakfast, it was spectacular! Buffet breakfast, with local options such as arepa ‘e huevo, buñuelo nd empanadas. I felt very comfortable and grateful. Without a doubt, I would recommend this hotel.

A wonderful venue. Rooms were clean, modern, and quiet. Service was polite and responsive. They have an on-site dining option, and the food is quite good. Lots of nearby outside dining options, too. The rooftop terrace has a lovely southwest view with a delightful breeze. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel. Guest friendly. Beds are soft. WiFi speeds are decent. Breakfast can be improved. A/C is cold and the showers are warm. No table in rooms to use a laptop, so you'll have to use a table in the lounge. Staff are very nice. No gym. Conveniently located near several restaurants and spas in Bocagrande. 2 minute walk to the beach. The experience was, overall, wonderful.

Great hotel in a great location in downtown Cartagena. Plenty of food, convenience stores, and the beach all in walking distance. We stayed here at the beginning of March and it was perfect. The included breakfast was nice, staff was nice, rooms were nice with a beautiful view and the views on the rooftop at night were beautiful.

Fine hotel to explore Cartagena! On arrival, I was warmly welcomed with a drink. The staff are very friendly. They also gave me a free upgrade. The room was very neat, clean and spacious. The room was on a busy road. I was not bothered by that. The hotel has a terrace on floor six with great views. You can use a very extensive breakfast buffet. You can also order lunch or dinner there. I had ordered lunch on arrival a ceasar salad but in all honesty I must say it was not tasty. I think the salad was also made at another location and I don't think they are set up for it.

I stayed at the Oz for five nights as I explored Cartagena after a work trip. The hotel was very clean, great location in terms of Bocagrande and the staff were very kind and helpful. At this price point, you are not getting ocean views or stellar facilities but it met all expectations and I liked the roof deck. It was clean, safe and convenient - would definitely recommend for budget-savvy travellers. Gracias!

Let me start off by saying I will absolutely come back to OZ hotel. I want to give 5 stars but there is literally only 1 thing that I’d like to see improved. The air conditioner in the room needs to be cleaned. Using it creates a musty odor in the air. I had to buy air freshener to fix it. Clean the air filters please. Otherwise, OZ is amazing. The staff are very accommodating and pleasant. They speak English. You are allowed to bring guests (1 at a time) and they take a copy of the ID. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. The hot water was a plus and I’m actually afraid of going anywhere else without hot water.

i booked oz hotel for 10 nights from the first night we had so much noise and screaming people and very loud machine noise outside the window and it’s very hard to sleep, the hotel offered to change my room and it’s i still had same issue with the loud noise i asked the hotel for a solution but none was given, and Angela the receptionist told me (this is a noisy hotel take it or leave it and that’s it) this is definitely not 4 stars hotel and 9.3 rating, it should’ve said so in the descriptions, the price we paid for this hotel we could have found a better and more quiet hotel

Housekeeping begins cleaning rooms at 8am, and they are loud - wearing 2-way radios that never stop. Our room was tiny, but clean. Breakfast was ok. Attached is our view.☠️

I think that we had just about the worst view of Cartegena from our room!! 😅 But with that... The service was awesome and everyone was friendly and helpful. (Even though our Spanish is atrocious.) The breakfast was very good... The dishes changed daily and were mostly traditional fare. There are really no water views, besides a sliver here and there from the rooftop deck. (Which was simple and pleasant.) It's also BYO up there, which saves a few dollars not having to buy drinks from a bar. The location is great for all things Bocogrande. If we had to do it all again, we would absolutely NOT stay in this area of town though. It's crowded, noisy and the street vendors are out from morning till night harassing you. The beach is nothing notable, crowded and pretty dirty. I think there are much better places to stay and much more pleasant beach towns out there.

This was a great hotel the breakfast was spectacular and the beds are comfortable. There are safes in the rooms as well as fridges and the bathrooms have hot water

Beautiful hotel. Very modern, high class, clean and well maintained. You can see management has done a perfect job with it. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice. The best experience we had in Cartagena! Recommended for sure!

Breakfast options are good and the staff very friendly. The rooms are noisy and although renovated have noticeable wear and tear marks. The beach close to the hotel has a lot of vendors and the water is not very clean. There are a couple of good restaurant options close by but not comparable to the city center options.

This hotel is just a price/ quality place. People were always really nice and they now how to give a service. They are pretty worried about cleaning ( im saying this for the people who is obsessed with this in hotels, you can trust). Breakfast was fine. Its in good location, there are markets, restourants and farmacy around it. We stayed really comfortable, we were travelling for 2 months and i can say this hotel is one of the best price/ quality.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for a couple days, we had so much fun. The hotel it's great and nice looking. The price range is just fair, the breakfast service is amazing, you can find a wide variety of food every day. They also have a really cool solarium at the terrace where you can enjoy some beers with a view.

I have stayed at several hotels in Cartagena, and this one is one of the best I ever stayed at. The service is awesome. And they have a great restaurant around the corner at sister hotel.

The Hotel is situated in Bocagrande. The service is excellent. We received fresh juice upon our arrival at the desk. Coffee is availble all day. Very clean and modern. The breakfast buffet is good with many options and you can have an omelette made. The only criticism I have on the room, space. Price was excellent. We were offered a free meal, lunch or dinner the week. O would definitely return. Restaurants are all around and there is a nice bakery across the street from the hotel to buy something to eat with your free coffee
