There’s
a
lot
of
good
things
to
be
said
about
this
hotel.
It’s
well
located
-
outside
the
walls
of
Cartagena
but
it
takes
just
about
a
5
minute
walk
to
go
inside
the
walled
part.
Very
close
to
the
beach,
too,
albeit
not
the
greatest
beach.
You’ll
find
a
mini-market
at
walking
distance
as
well.
I
had
a
suite
that
was
very
large
and
cozy,
with
a
huge
bathroom
and
a
nice
private
patio.
The
hotel
itself
is
very
charming,
if
you
like
this
type
of
colonial
building.
The
interior
yard
where
you
eat
breakfast
is
pretty
and
I
enjoyed
the
small
pool.
Breakfast
was
yummy,
it
varied
every
day
and
the
portions
were
big.
The
cook
was
kind
and
friendly.
I
also
appreciated
the
young
man
who
did
the
check-in
but
found
the
woman
in
charge
of
my
check-out
rather
rude.
I
can
only
give
three
stars
however
because
I
didn’t
have
hot
water
for
5
days,
the
whole
duration
of
my
stay.
There
had
been
a
storm
the
day
prior
to
my
arrival.
Things
happen,
yes,
but
when
I
informed
the
owner
that
I
didn’t
have
water
and
asked
if
it
would
come
back
soon,
she
just
said
no
without
apologizing
or
offering
a
rate
reduction.
Just
‘sorry’
would
have
been
acceptable.
At
this
point,
it
was
too
late
to
cancel
and
it
didn’t
look
like
there
were
any
reasonably
priced
accommodations
I
could
alternatively
go
to.
So
I
stayed
-
but
5
days
without
hot
water
to
shower
is
a
lot.
Finally,
there’s
a
comida
rapida
a
couple
of
blocks
away
on
the
same
street
that
has
cheap,
incredibly
tasty
food
and
a
full
cohort
of
colourful
characters
that
was
so
fun
to
hang
out
with.
Do
go
if
you
have
time!
