I do not recommend this hotel. The photos are misleading and was not what we got on our room. Even though we made the reservation 3 month in advance, we did not get the room that it was agreed on, which included small fridge. Huge disappointment, no hot water, no internet, broken glass shower door, no window, no fridge, etc. When we asked to get the room we agreed on they force us to pay additional room rate OR they give us the money back @ 8.00 pm which was insane and unprofessional offer… This was a perfect example of “bait and switch”! We just got to Cartagena and now do you think we have to get the bag and look for a new hotel late in the day in a new unknow town??? Shame on the night staff. Lesson learn… if you decide to make a reservation in this hotel or any other, “MAKE SURE YOU ALSO KNOW THE ROOM NUMBER THEY WILL GIVE YOU BEFORE CLOSING THE DEAL”

I would say this hotel is average at best. It’s very well priced for its location but we were left wondering if we could have picked a nicer one. What’s great: the location is absolutely fabulous! Staff is helpful. Rooms are basic and comfortable. What’s not great: toilets very small. Low water pressure and it goes off - we were in the only room on the top floor and had to ask them to switch on the water, lots of mosquitoes, the included breakfast is very average and the lobby/reception/breakfast area is very cluttered. We also booked the suite/larger room and payed a total of ~616,600 COP with the upgrade - the other rooms are very very small. Didn’t feel this room was worth the price either though it is spacious (except for the toilets).

This is a well run hotel in a great location. The pros and cons. Cons-The rooms can be small and some of the rooms facing the center are subject to some of the noise coming from the center area. Pros-Besides that, I enjoyed my stay. Fridge, tv, safe, soft big bed, well trained staff, and hot water, which is rare in Cartagena! Had my first hot shower in a week here. The location is close enough to the key areas to walk to in minutes, but far enough away to avoid the loud noise and large crowds. Also, the staff was very accommodating, as I had a few issues while traveling. I would stay again.

Very nice place to go alone, with hubby, or your family. It's also located very well, near everything and it has a supermarket next door (ÉXITO) so you can get things very easily. Dayana have done a very friendly check-in, she even recommended me some place around with a map and answered some questions I had about some places as well. Jesus was also a very nice guy and the 2 night auditors (Victor and a man I didn't asked his name) but they were very kind and nice. Room service every day, which keep the rooms very clean for each guests. And the rooms themselves are very nice, I have no complains. I can't talk about breakfast cuz I never got up early to take it lol but the rest was SUPER. I highly recommend it, will for sure come for my next trip.

Pretty hotel, and very friendly staff. Unfortunately our room had lots of issues. The curtain was broken and didn't open, which is why we didn't notice until the second night that the window was also broken and didn't close, filling the room with a constant supply of mosquitos. The water was average, but that's to be expected on the coast, but the mold in the shower was not. The air conditioner worked but constantly dripped water which we only discovered after finding our clothes soaked.

In centro, great location. Rooms are small. Did not try zoom but Internet was slow. The bathroom smelled like sewage. Hotel was clean.

Beautiful place, very clean and well located. The downsides are the breakfast (not very nice) and the showers (were not working properly)

Great value for money compared to what we could find at the time in the same area. Most places were charging double and you will want for nothing at this hotel. We stayed in the King Suite for 5 days and didn’t want to leave. Smart tv for watching Netflix, comfy bed, strong AC and very spacious. Friendly helpful staff made organising our day a breeze.

This hotel was perfect and the price was amazing. The rooms were big, comfortable, AC, and hot water. Dont hesitate to book this place. The location is near the clock tower.

The hotel is in a great location in the historic centre. However The service from reception was quite lax and sloppy. The rooms are average at best and their advertised photos are quite deceptive of the quality, size or feel of the room. The decor in the rooms are very cheap and tacky. The only window in our room faced a dark corridor so we always needed to have these garish fluorescent lights on. There were also issues with our toilet which didn’t flush well. A stay here also includes breakfast but this was also not particularly good. We kept our luggage in their luggage storage for a few days when we went to the islands so they charged us a daily rate which we had no problem with, only to find on our return that they kept our luggage in the public courtyard area with no security. We ended up staying at another hotel on our return which was much better. There are plenty of options in Cartagena- I don’t recommend this one.

Great location and reasonably priced. Property is aesthetic and the AC in the room was nice and cold. Decent homestyle breakfast served on the table. Located very close to the center of the city. I was welcomed by a fresh grape fruit. I would choose something nicer as the property is very minimalistic and rooms are very small. However, the water pressure in shower was too low. Toilet bowl, didn't flush well. This ruined the experience.

April 2023: The 3 of us were met with freshly made fruit juice, and our room was upgraded to a room with a window when it became available without us needing to request. They also provided us a map with directions on how to get to the most relevant places and grocery. The hotel booked our taxis for us, and each time we got a taxi it would arrive in 2 minutes. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the area, and they are familiar with excursion meeting places. Breakfast in the morning is delightful and included fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, eggs, toast, coffee, tea, water. It was made fresh per person and not buffet style. The air conditioning in the room is amazing and works extremely well. Before arriving, the hotel provided extremely quick communication and provides transportation services from the airport. The wifi always worked and was fast. I would recommend having something that can play white noise at night because the area itself is quite loud, but the location is so great. There is a huge grocery store with an ATM right at the corner. The rooms themselves and the toiletries provided are basic. However, they do have a nice sized refrigerator. They do not have blankets on the bed, just a sheet. The rooms and bathroom were very clean, and even though they were basic it wasn't a bad thing for us--we barely spent any time in the rooms and were just there to sleep and shower. The time we did spend there was mostly spent on the balcony which is charming with nice couches and hanging plants/flowers. The front desk keeps your key when you leave for the day (via taxi at least). I was double charged, and when I mentioned it they refunded it right away. I would stay here again!

This hotel was so nice. Wonderful people, superb location close to the center and India de Cartagena (Easy to take a taxi). Rooms are comfortable and I enjoyed the interior.
