I will not go back to this hotel. The check in process was not good; when i came no one sent the elevator down to me even though i rang the buzzer 4 times, so i had to take the stairs to the 2nd floor reception with my luggage. The entry to the hotel is inside a galeria which has no security and does not seem at all safe, especially at night. Lots of hustlers are in front and try to sell aggressively to the guests. The room was ok inside, but the door to my room had clearly been forced open with a prybar a number of times with lots of visible damage on the door and door frame. Only ok for young men. I would not recommend women or families to stay here because of the lack of security.

Not recommended at all.. they won't maintain the rooms cleaner and dont even provide basic things..

The badroom is small and smelly. There is no hot water either. The shower is old and the curtain too. The door at the main entrance is locked after 6 pm and you have to knock for the person at the reception to open. Sometimes you have to wait because the person is busy or maybe in the toilet? Why do they lock the door and keep the guests waiting outside!? Super weird. Never had such an experience. Besides the person who opens the door (night shift person) looks at you very suspiciously. We are guests and not delinquents. The breakfast included is ok. Could be better and varied. Everyday the same is boring. The lady who serves the breakfast and the one who clean the rooms are very kind. The bed is comfortable and the internet connection is good enough to work from here. All in all, I would not stay again here.

In general a nice place. Not a luxury hotel on USA standards, about a 3 star. It was clean, small bathrooms, helpful staff, with a decent breakfast buffet. The location was great. Mall across the street has coffee shops and access to the beach. Walking to restaurants, beach and the marketplace where you can buy almost anything. Short taxi to the walled City.

Hotel was clean, centrally located, and simple. One block from beach and close to restaurants (i.e. try La Diva for Italian). I paid the fair price for the area this late in Dec. (i.e. about $60/per night). Breakfast was ok. The same thing every morning and not much imagination. I was good with coffee and fruit in the morning but if your looking for more in terms of quality of food for breakfast, this is not the place. If you rent a car, call as they offer you free parking. I would stay again for this price. Internet was terrible and always dropping. I had to go to Intercontinental (one block away to work). I travel a lot for work so I would rate higher if at a better price. Cartagena is expensive in December.

The accommodation and hospitality was very nice. Enjoyed myself. And was satisfied with the service.

The staff are great d the rooms nicely appointed. It is much farther out than the map on Expedia made it look. 40 minute walk to the old town.

Room is nice for the price. Shower not so good and only working cold water. Breakfast very simple and with slow servicing.
