Great experience but the breakfast is not tasty. Good location. It has friendly staff and good price. Safe. Keys not key card. Clean.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is located perfectly just a street a way from the barrio Getsemani and a nice walk to the historic center. The family room was spacious with good beds and a great, warm, shower. The staff is friendly and willing to help.They hardly speak any English, but they do try. Overall very good value for money.

We booked via external website (Agoda) - and were sent to another place with the same owner - HOTEL villa colonial down the street. Although similar, the experience was not positive. No hot water, no pool and non-adjustable air conditioning so we had to sleep without it. The staff was polite but not friendly at all.

Good location, good value, friendly service. Breakfast was made to order from a set menu of 5 choices. Wifi worked decently. The hotel was beautiful but due to its open nature there was no AC in the lobby areas. But the AC in the room worked well. Rooms were very simple but clean. Main downfall was that there was no hot water in the bathroom, which is typical for a lot of more budget hotels in the area.

Conveniently located in Getsemani, Casa villa colonial is great to get access to the old town in 10 minutes walking. The street is busy with bars and traffic so make sure to ask for a room that doesn't give on the street. The staff has been extremely friendly with us. Good breakfast as well on the rooftop. Laundry service is a great plus.

The room was simple but clean, but it did not have a minifridge which is disappointing considering the heat and humidity. The shower also does not get warm. The wifi was a limited. The rooftop pool was perfect, super clean and had great views. The free breakfast was pretty average but great that they had it in general! The location is very Central but it is very close to a club which has music going very loud most of the night!

Very dissappointed. Bad smell, bad customer service, no soap in the bathrooms. Rooms feel unclean. Our friend's room did not have any water and they provided no accommodation or even discount for the trouble. Do yourself a favor and look for a better place, of which there are many for less expensive than this hotel.

no wifi in the rooms. the bed sheets and pillow sheets were stained and dirty. no hot water, only cold water. the room was not clean and the window is not outdoor facing. you hear everything that happens in the lobby. I also found the staff rude and unhelpful and I was not comfortable staying in that hotel. Why pay money for a hotel room that is dirty, doesnt look like the posted pictures online, with no wifi, no hot water and with 0 sound insulation?
