Really good hostel. We stayed in the new house of the hostel were around 6-7 rooms are located. On top on the rooftop you will find an whirlpool (see photos). It was clean but within our 3 days they don’t clean our room. The shower had no shower head what was a little bit strange and the water wasn’t that hot but still ok (I am a mollycoddle). The location is awesome. Everywhere around are restaurants located. The quarter is not that crowded as the old city center and people are really nice around. Nobody wants to sell to you useless stuff. It is a backpacker area. The breakfast was good (toast, eggs & fruits; coffee/tee). The room has a safe. We would recommend on the same price. The WiFi was constantly available.

The room was small but clean and with all the necessary things that you would need. The host provided very good service and was able to respond within minutes of questions on Whatsapp! The location is perfect. 200m or less from the centre of everything which is the perfect distance to be able to enjoy a quiet night in a city that does not sleep.

Accommodation is top located. It was very clean and the host took care of everything within minutes! The whirlpool on the roof is also super pleasant. There are great restaurants nearby (2min walk) and also shopping right next door. We have enjoyed the stay very much

Had air con and a great breakfast, email responses were prompt. Unfortunately our sheets looked dirty and were full of hair when we got our room, asked for them to be changed which they said they would. Asked again and was told they change them every two days, they would not change them and we stayed 5 days. Bathrooms and shower were absolutely FILTHY, only cleaned once a day which is not enough. Can't describe how bad they got. Cleanliness lets the hostel down

We stayed at the private bedrooms in the new house and liked the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Since we stayed several days we would have appreciated if the room was cleaned one in a while. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location far enough from the nightlife that your room is quiet but close enough to walk to great attractions. The staff, in particualr Valeria did their utmost to make our stay great. The best scrambled eggs I have had.

Stay away from this place. The attitude is terrible and they can‘t help you with anything unless they try to sell you an expensive shuttle tour or a guided tourist tour. The guy at the reception seemed very stoned and was super inflexible. Paying by card is an extra 5% so he asked us to pay in cash. However, they had no change which made it complicated. The rooms are very tiny and the bathroom was dirty. The only okey thing about this place is the breakfast.

Rooms have air conditioning! The staff were very friendly and helped us with our sightseeing plans. Spent one night here, went to Barú for a night, and then two more nights back here. Staff speaks English and Spanish. Showers weren't very warm but it's so hot in Cartagena, you'll want a cold shower. Note: No smoking allowed in/near the building because the neighbors have asthma, but you can smoke on the street corner.

Very clean, very beautiful hostel. Solar powered for the most part, which is cool. Breakfast was great. The area is safe and in walking distance to everything. Really nice stay.

Wifi is absolutely terrible. Private room shares a bathroom with a dorm and the bathroom is always filthy. Really loud reception area and the noise is echoed up the stairs to the private room so you hear every conversation and terrible musician in the common area all night then you hear the staff first thing in the morning.
