The rooms are old and not renovated for a very long time. We arranged transport via the hotel. First the transport showed up one hour earlier. We didn’t expect this. The front desk officer blamed us we weren’t ready. He was rude to us. So he arranged new transport for us but they never showed up. The front desk officer didn’t do anything to solve the problem or to help us. It messed up our entire day and finally at our first stop we had to pay an expensive taxi because we missed the last bus!

I had to hold up the tub drain with my big toe because it didn’t want to stay up by itself. The tub continued to flood because of the drain, good thing for my smart thinking ;)

First impression is terrible. Arrived at 1pm and was told that room will be ready by 3pm. It's after 3pm now and room is not ready yet. But people entering after me getting rooms (1*) Update: reception staff is amazing, very nice, friendly and helpful (5*) Bathroom in my room is in bad condition. Water is leaking, shower is not working properly (2*) And the greatest inconvenient of this hotel at this time is that it's at renovations. It's 8pm and these guys are still working (0*)

Amazing room, great location, really good value (especially if you add the dinner) and a perfect place to base your cartegena experiences. Advice for cartegena in general, if you are looking for a meal, a drink, Suncream, whatever, and the place you are in seems expensive, keep walking, next door might be just as good and half the price for no apparent reason!

Great place to stay, best value. Room was clean and cozy but a little dark. Bathroom was clean too but there was a crack on the wall not a big deal. Upper floor has jacuzzi, try to catch the sunset it has a great view! Breakfast is included, just a couple of options are served on the last floor outdoors.

The room was great. Warm shower, enormous bed, good WiFi (also in room). We slept like babies, it was really comfortable. The receptionist spoke English very well. The only down side was that you cannot really rely on your breakfast time. We had to tell the reception up front what time we wanted to have our (included) breakfast and what we wanted to eat. We had a flight to catch at 9.15, so we took the earliest option to get our breakfast (7am). When we arrived at the (awesome rooftop for) our breakfast, it wasn’t ready and we got it at 7.30. We only eat half of the breakfast, since the brought it in different parts and we needed to get the taxi to the airport. So you shouldn’t be in a hurry for your breakfast.

Great place to stay. Highly recommended. Very cozy and calm. Beds are very comfortable. Location is very convenient, restaurants and bars at walking distance. Quiet place during the night. The owners are amazing and very friendly. They will give you excellent recommendations. I would definetly stay in this place when I return to Cartagena.

Hotel with a great location in the historic center of Cartagena. a pleasant and safe environment. Very tasty breakfast and a variety of tropical fruits.

It is a good average inexpensive hotel. It is well located and the people are very kind.

Great value for the money. Amazing location in a safe area near the main plaza. The best part of the hotel is the amazing staff that treats you like family. Marcella is the sweetest lady I have ever met! There is also a jacuzzi on the rooftop.

Nice hotel in the historic center. The employees are very helpful.
