Disappointed so far. Just checked in (45 mins early, which was great). But they had issues with taking payment on my cards. They kept telling me they were both reported stolen. I kept saying that one of the cards has this issue with certain machines, and I've already called my bank and they said no issues. And never ever have an issue with my business card, which they also tried on this clunky huge grey EFT machine, and said was stolen. I looked for cash. They told me it was 316,200 COP. I could only find 300,000 COP, and asked them (I'm here for 2 nights) if it was ok to pay them the last 16,200 COP later today. They said I'm not allowed to enter the room without full payment. I found this strange, as I had cash for 95% of my booking, and literally was only a measly 16,200 COP short, and they told me to call my bank about my cards again. I was like "hah?" I'm thinking "seriously?" Such bad customer service. The man was very nice and seemed quite good at his job, but this was super weird to me. I'd paid 95% of my 2 day booking, unexpectedly in cash. Like, why wouldn't you check me into my room, let me get myself together, considering I'd already settled for first days payment, and almost all of tomorrow night's as well? Then I had to ask them if they had another EFT machine. (They never offered to try another one). To which they did, and the payment was approved straight away, on one of my original cards. This whole time, there were 4 Junior staff sitting, lingering, literally just standing there, all within 1 metre radius, watching me go through this mess of a checkin. Like what? Everyone knows when you're working near a customer where something is going wrong, like apparent (and false) stolen cards, etc, an awkward/private/confidential issue, that you don't stand there gawking, unless you are directly dealing with the customer. I had a total audience. The maintenance boy with the blue shirt, 2 Housekeeping girls. I would say it was one of the worst checkins I've ever had. And the person who proactively fixed the issue in the end was me. Insisting on them using a different EFT machine. And they were flaunting breaking covid rules right in front of me. Now I'm upstairs in my horrible small room, that looks different to all the photos I'd seen when booking. Super disappointed. (Oh! And have checked back on booking . com and my confirmation says 304,200 , not 316,200!!, so the whole time they were overcharging) Total mess. Pool and rooftop amazing. There is no light on the floor I'm on, so it's pitch dark when I try to get from my room, to the elevator. Someone called my room at 8am this morning, woke me up to ask if I wanted my room cleaned. AT 8AM!!! THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED AT.

It was very easy to check in and out, order food in the restaurant and order room service. The two meals we ordered were That's the end of the good stuff. There's no complimentary coffee or water in the room. The lobby and restaurant are warm even with the AC running. It is so closely located to the airport and the planes pass right in front which is so loud. If you are a light sleeper do not consider this hotel. We were put in a room right above the lobby, so we heard the doors open and shut everytime someone went through them. It sounded like furniture being dragged across the floor. Our room had a hottub for two with no hot water, so after waiting 40+ minutes for it to fill we got in for less than 10 minutes. The jets worked, but tepid water isn't very appealing. We paid extra for this feature. Lastly, they ignored a towel rack that needed to be repaired and when I went to hang my towel it immediately fell to the floor. This hotel is overprice for what you get.

The breakfast was nice, a little supermarket, a pharmacy, some restaurants and the airport are nearby but unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel. Our room was very noisy. We could hear the noise of the planes taking off right above the hotel and the busy highway in front as if the window was open. To access the beach you need to cross the highway via a tall bridge. It takes around 15 minutes. The pictures are misleading. The rooms are note so nice and  overpriced for the quality of the facilities.

This hotel does not look like what they offer online. The first room they put me in the paint was falling off of the walls, it smelt bad and it was dirty. They don't have shampoo. The towels and blankets seem old. It's right next to the airport so you hear planes 24/7. They changed my room after I complained and it still didn't look like what was offered in the photos. The pool is tiny and always full of people and kids and they close it at 8. Their is no drinking water offered you have to pay for bottle. I asked for a pen and they don't have any extra.... Unfortunately I paid upfront through a booking website so I couldn't receive a refund and had to deal with the room. There are much better hotels for the same price save your self from the disappointment.

The hotel is very clean and modern, the staff is super friendly and the internet is reliable, the breakfast is included and delicious I stayed for 8 days and try them all. Coffee all day, nothing fancy but always available, the lunch and dinners are affordable and also good. The bar only had sodas and beer and the rooftop pool y very pleasant always with lively music. The place is great for remote work. Across the street from the beach and several restaurants. The only downside is the noise it is next to the airport and next to a very busy road. You can get very fast everywhere and overall I would come back.

I stayed at the hotel last year it was sparkling clean so i decided to stay again which was disappointing they no longer offer coffee for guests but the main issue i had was the sheets had yellow stains and hair I had to request my sheets be replaced in which they had hair also. the towels smelled so bad that i had to go buy my own towels. It seems like they’re not using bleach and overloading their laundry machines that not cleaning linens. I really feel bad leaving this review but it is unacceptable to have unclean towels and linens during covid era.

The pictures are kind of misleading. The upper floors are still under construction, so it gets really noisy, even on Saturday. There's also road construction going on just opposite the hotel, so the noise was everywhere. The facilities (pool, terrace, elevator) were not in order during our stay (early November). The room itself was nice and overall I am sure it will be a nice hotel when it's completed, just make sure it's done before you go.

The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are very comfortable, the beach is opposite and the attention to guests is very special.

Dishonest advertising. Doesn't have a pool. Has 4 pictures of a lovely pool but doesn't have one. Wouldn't reduce price and so we left.

The hotel is nice and clean and has very good facilities. Though, there’s a lot of noise from the highway outside. The restaurant is very simple and the staff are nice but speak poor English. Do note that there are almost no attractions in the area - the hotel is not in any of Cartagenas’ central areas.

This hotel is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, most people here complained about the planes sound which yes its annoying but by far not the most terrible thing this hotel has, first of all there is way too many cockroaches, towels are stinking, hotel charges you minimum $30 for guests even if they won’t sleep over, the windows aren’t sound proof so you are basically hearing cars all day, they don’t change the sheets they just make the bed ,i wont recommend this place to my worst enemies.
