This is an elegant cafe in the old city of Cartagena that serves a variety of beverages and cakes and pastries. I had a hot chocolate and carrot cake which were delicious. The service staff was courteous and professional and the ambience of the cafe was very pleasant. This is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee, have a baked good and people watch.

Nice decor and good ambient music. One cannot order at the counter so, there is among wait at the table. Although there is a strong wifi network they give you excuses to avoid giving you the password. We wanted sugar on our coffee and when it finally arrived the espresso was already cold. The coffee tasted about the same at any Juan Valdez store.

Excellent coffee. Claims to be the most award-winning coffee in Colombia and I believe it. It's smooth and flavourful. The "fun" drinks are exciting — for the mocaccino, they pour espresso and milk directly on the chocolate ice cream at your table. It's also fairly easy to get by in English here.

My tour guide recommend that I take some of this coffee with me for souvenirs for myself and to give as gifts. So I came back and bought 4 bags for like 180k COP to go before I went back home, which I thought was extremely pricey for some coffee... Thats over $10 USD per bag! The smell and taste of the coffee was amazing and the packaging is very nice and comes with a scooper. They even ground the coffee and resealed the bag for me. My main complaint is that as a coffee drinker, their strongest coffee is only a medium roast coffee and for over $10 USD per bag, I need something much stronger than that to get me going in the morning. Once I got back to the US, I had to mix it with darker roast coffees to get a good kick because it was very weak to me. So it ended up being very pricey and not really worthwhile for me in the end. But I would still recommend it for the experience as the cafe is very nice and located in a lively square.

Looking for coffee in Cartagena.. look no further. This award winning coffee is something special. Have a seat inside the cafe and after the first sip you’ll feel like you went to heaven. Almond croissant is excellent too.

This café is a very trendy, upscale spot where you can spend a lot of time hanging out with friends, having a date or just grabbing a great cup of coffee. For tourist. It’s also a great spot to get high-end Colombian original coffee beans to take back home, which is what I did. It is also worth mentioning that this café overlooks a beautiful open Square in the middle of Cartagena - as pictured by one of my attached photos. Would definitely recommend us as a spot to stop in and check out.

Nice and quiet on a Monday morning. A really nice selection of coffee drinks, pastries, plus coffee-related merch to take home. I loved the iced coffee, poured at the table with a demo of the right technique!

Love this coffee!! Very delicious and great location. Enjoyed our coffee mid day in beautiful Cartagena. We bought many bags to bring back home for our expresso.

The coffee is quite good- hot, cold, or with ice cream. The pastries are average. The inside is quite nice, seems clean. Staff know some English. Service is fast enough. Just is annoying being shuffled from room to room when they need to set up for large groups. Price is reasonable. Overall, worth a visit.

Lovely service, calm and cool atmosphere, excellent service. Pour over was tasty; we’re from Seattle and we’re very discerning about coffee so our expectations were low and it hardly blew our minds but was good enough. Wonderful respite from the hot sweaty and touristy streets.

It is a pretty busy cafe and has amazing coffee experiences. A must have on your visit to Cartenega. I tried the cold popsicle coffee, it was really creamy.. if that is something you like, go for it.

Huge cafe and coffee shop for award winning coffee. Service was great and the coffee is great too. You can buy bags of coffee and various other gifts/souvenirs.

Wow is this place amazing! The coffee is so tasty and not bitter. Like a fine wine. The miel drink is delicious too! And we had an affogado that was perfect!!! So much yum!!!

I did a great coffee experience here. Of course, you can also order regular coffee, but I enjoyed doing this. I was surprised anyway that the staff spoke English well, which made the coffee experience even more enjoyable for me. Watch the video and experience it once too. The coffee was very tasty!

Very popular cafe. First thing to note, they do not have seating in the plaza. The outdoor tables belong to the other restaurants along the street. Seating is inside (if you can get a table). The coffee is strong and hot. Gives a boost to continue the walk through old town. Authentic establishment.

This place is a great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of old town Cartagena. Sit down and enjoy a hot or cold coffee, some cacao, or a light snack. If you are traveling from afar, be sure to buy some fresh ground Colombian coffee to take back home to enjoy.

There's only one coffee available, the famous one with all the seals, supposedly nice and fruity. The coffee was prepared at my table. There were quite some fines in the ground coffee and the filter bed turned out to be a crater, both of which hinder an even extraction. The resulting cup was mostly chocolaty with a slight fruity aroma and an unpleasant astringency. The waiters seemed disinterested.

They weren't lying about how amazing the coffee is. I don't think I've ever had a better coffee anywhere. Service was friendly the shop was very clean and well kept. No issues at all. Thank you for the great experience.

To be honest, it was a disappointment. Our guide recommended us the place, do we decided to give it a shot. We like strong coffee, my partner had a 'syphone' one, and it was very mild, my "paraíso" wasn't impressive either. The worst is that we had to wait for an hour for our coffees and then 15 minutes to pay, the place is overcrowded, that's the problem. The staff, however, was very pleasant.

They forgot our drip coffee and had us waiting for 40 minutes. A good place to go if you have extra time to spare. The coffee was good once we finally got it. However, when the bill came they tried to charge us more than the advertised price from the menu. When I asked them to change it based on what we ordered, they did but they seemed annoyed.

Most delightful coffee and great barista experience This is definitely the place for high quality coffee lovers. Apart from the delicious coffee there is an entire menu to treat yourself with a lovely view of the beautiful sights of the city

This place is wonderful. They reached me how to prepare the coffee. I was sitting on a window looking the church and the view is amazing… the time was stopped.

Very nice coffee shop located in front of plaza. Had a nice cappuccino and almond croisant. Service was ok and the waitress even gave me a lesson in the life of a bean the way this estate handles the process. Cant wait to grind and pull some espresso shots when i get home.

Small coffee shop with about 10 tables squeezed close together so doesn't make seating too comfortable. There is a mezzanine/loft with 4 tables if you want to sit on top. That said, the coffee is delicious, high quality, and display of various brew methods seem like they know what they're doing. They do sell their roasted beans in bags. Pastries available. A/C.

Delicious latte with froth made into a shape. Very aesthetically pleasing. The cake was heavenly and the ambiance is nothing short of peaceful. Very recommended!
