Beautiful place , shame is very dirty, no shower no clean toilet and look like nobody care about beach and the sea....

Why is it called playa tranquila? It not a peaceful, relaxing beach. Is a place where you’re going to be harassed by vendors ALL THE TIME! They’ll be extremely persistent for several minutes until you buy something because is not going to leave you alone. The massage ladies will come to you and try to give you a “free sample” which is not going to be for free (obviously). From the minute you put a foot in there, it’ll be a non stop vendor after vendor to try yo sell you a random item. If you think I’m exaggerating, well there’s only one way to find out lol Good luck!

I did not go to this specific OPITOURS. But went to Baru "Island" this is something which I personally do not suggest. I am certain many of you will not like this place. There is no room to walk because of all the reclining chairs placed on the actual walking beach. This is not a recommended place to visit. Food is not good quality and cooking standards are not practiced on some of the food eateries available. If you order a beer they will charge you $4,000 pesos, $1,20USD but you have to fight the flies from landing on your beer. All the great things they say about Cartagena, Baru Island is not what the reality is when you get there. Colombia does not have a good tourism system and it is not what is said on some magazines and or travel agencies. Personally it is not what I am used to, when it comes to a tour. I do not recommend this place. Colombia is a very dangerous place to visit, unless you are a part of an organized RELIABLE TOUR OPERATOR. Do not eat food from the street food carts. Colombia has an incredible potential for a phenomenal tourism industry but CORRUPTION is horrible and some places in Colombia it is best to appreciate on TV.

It is not that tranquility, is the same as playa blanca if u have the choice go to one of the private Islands ; cost a little more but u won't regret it

Beautiful part of Colombia. Lots of wildlife and paradise ocean colours, but tours were not coordinated efficiently and resulted in lots of waiting around. The meal was fantastic. The mojarra fish and coconut rice were delicious. It was hard to eat with the swarms of flies unfortunately. The snorkelling was only ok because the equipment we got was dodgy and most of the coral was dead. It was fun having the parrot fish feed out of your hand. The night swim in the lagoon with the illuminous plankton was so amazing, I will never forget.

Amazing place, super recommend to relax and enjoy the beach. We booked a day pass in Bocagrande and everything was good.

The toilets no have good sanitation conditions, no showers, and the kitchen looks very dirty, the food regular, and the drinks are very expensive
