I recently had the pleasure of visiting Getsemani in Cartagena, Colombia, and was completely enchanted by this vibrant city! The streets are adorned with vivid street art, adding bursts of color to the already picturesque scenery. The narrow streets are lined with an array of small, unique boutiques and cafes, making it a shopper's and foodie's paradise. From handmade crafts to artisanal coffee, every discovery was a delight. Getsemani is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the authentic flavor and creative spirit of Cartagena!

Nice gem in Cartagena de las Indias, we enjoyed this area a lot. The people are great, some people want to sell you things but they're not rude or annoying, if anything some give you information about the area. There is a lot to see.. the art on the walls, street (floor) and hanging over you heightens your experience and if you throw in some music.. real Colombian music.. you'll be in another world. There is a lot of history to learn and a lot of shops to enjoy. At night it's another world... lights, people and music everywhere.. a must do. Enjoy!

Cool little area of Cartagena. During the day, it’s calm and empty. At night, it can get very crowded, people dancing in the streets and drinking. There is a great coffee place nearby and places to eat all around.

There are two streets in Getsemani with Umbrellas. This one has more Umbrellas and is on a bit broader street. The street and the surroundings can seem a bit gritty when compared to the streets surrounding plaza de Trinidad. But its safe to walk around, grab something to eat or drink and also enjoy the murals surrounding this street.

Awesome street. We did a half day self guided photo tour here. Took so much pictures and had lunch at Celele which probably the best restaurant in town. Get a coconut from the vendors and keep hydrated.

I didn't really notice the umbrellas that were suspended above the street but saw it later when I was looking back at the street. The reason for this could have been that there was so much going on around me or that the walls of the buildings are painted very beautifully.

Beautiful, multi-colored street. I learned on a tour that the set of streets are where real folks live, and that they set up shops during the day. Each street has a day during the week they take off, so there's always something available.

Just walked through the city streets with the wife while in town. Beautiful City overall, vendors can be a little aggressive at times, but worth the walk!

Cool spot in the middle of cool spots. I’d recommend going in the am before all the influencers pounce. Feels like early 2000s Williamsburg if you catch my meaning.

Not even worth the 1 star. Very underwhelming and not worth the walk to it. We stayed in Hotel Caribe and they have a better version indoor. Aside from it being old and run down, vendors and rappers were a constant annoyance. Honestly just don't go ...

Colorful and vibrant place. Seems like every house in that road was selling cocktails 2x1, good prices but didn’t tried them though. It can get very crowded and hard to walk around. Just outside the walls, within Getsemani neighborhood, another great place to see in Cartagena besides the usual old city.

Interesting area. We visited mid day, and it was very hot with almost no air circulation. It would be much more pleasant to visit early morning before the temperature rises.

Amazing street art, beautiful homes and decorated doors/balconies. It has amazing ambient music playing across the area. Well worth a visit for the gram photos.

So quaint, cute and a grand entry into Getsamani! Keep walking, wondering around and exploring the beautiful art. You will love it. The next street to the right features international flags! My favorite.

A tipical place in Cartagena. We had an Airbnb there and we lived the magic of "las novenas" before Christmas. Everyone was joyful and partying until later in night. Not the best place to take a rest or a good sleep in that period of time, but that's not the reason you go to Cartagena, right? Close to a lot of restaurants, souverni shops and pharmacies. Neighbors were locals very friendly and happy to help. What I enjoyed the most was the man selling fruits. I used to buy fresh mangos from him every morning. Totally recommend that!

The beautiful things in the street’s life in Cartagena it’s the point that it’s not only for tourists it’s where the people live and make their life and business so they are colorful and people are so kind and attentive, you just take place in their life for the time you come.
