We’ve spend couple of days in Namaste! It was a great experience. The staff was great, food was great and we enjoyed our time there! We forgot our things there and the staff were so nice that they kept it for us and we came back to pick it up! The activities that the hotel provides are also good. We attended yoga and fire ceremony which was very interesting! We highly recommend it to others :)

What a beautiful day! We messaged Namaste at 8:30am asking if they could accommodate two people for a few hours and they answered within minutes! All details were provided immediately and we were on our way to meet Arnaldo at castillo grande for a 10am departure. Everything was professional at the beach and it was easy to meet Arnaldo. Boat captains were also kind and professional. Once at Namaste we were greeted and shown to a nice area right next to the beach. We had a bed chair shade and an excellent waiters Alberto and Jonathan. They checked in on us constantly and always made sure we were taken care of with drinks towels food etc. This place is extremely professional and they genuinely want you to have a good time. Will go out of their way to accommodate you however they can. Do not hesitate if you are looking for more of a half day close to Cartagena or stay the whole day! Cant go wrong either way.

What a let down. When we first got here, we loved it. We used their service to take a boat ride to Cartagena with the return service scheduled at 8 pm. We arrived 10 minutes early and waited for over 45 minutes. The beach pickup has no lights, the hotel won't pick up their phone and the attendant who was chatting with us via WhatsApp said "What a shame" and then disconnected the chat. We called their reservation line, only to be told that they sit in Bogota and could not help us. We asked if they could connect us to our hotel and they ended the call. We were stranded in Cartagena at a sketchy beach with multiple failed attempts to get in contact with them. Thankfully I was here with my partner, but I would not feel comfortable going as a solo traveler to this hotel. There were some pluses, the yoga and beach were nice. Food and drinks were expectedly expensive. Bring your own drinking water, there is nowhere to buy on the island and the charges for the little bottles add up.

Horrible experience, expensive, not worth it! I rarely write a negative review, but everything was wrong with this place since we arrived until we left. We booked 4 rooms for ourselves and our friends from abroad, 9 people total. The rooms were uncomfortable, the beds impossible to sleep on, the food was awful and super expensive, the service was horrendous, and they claim they have a beach for 60 people. The beach is more a patio over the seawall where the waves crash, it has sand on the floor but there is no beach, or lounge chairs to lay down on. We were told at check-in that our rooms were ready, but it took them 3 hours to get us the keys. Apparently they were waiting for “a host” who never showed up, because the same two people who did the check in were the ones who gave us the rooms three hours later, mind you, at the same time that our lunch was served. Our room was small and extremely uncomfortable. It did not have space to store the cloths or where to put the luggage with easy access to the cloths. We had to put suitcases on the bed to open them every time we needed to get anything in or out, praying that bugs won’t get on the bed as we found a crab trying to crawl in our bags. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable that our friends grabbed cushions from the pool area to put on the bed to sleep on. The food was awful and ridiculously expensive. The menu said that breakfast came with “assorted breads or arepas.” I wasn’t asked what I wanted and got a slice of what seems to be Bimbo white bread, not even toasted. The next day they gave me arepas so hard that I couldn’t bite into them. But the worse was the service, waiters are not trained and have a horrible attitude. Food came in a span of hours, so some of us were done with our food while others were still waiting for their order. It took 45 minutes for them to brew a cup of coffee so we couldn’t have it with breakfast either. At lunch and dinner we were served appetizers after entrees, some orders were wrong, and some items didn’t come at all. When we asked for the missing items we were told that the kitchen was closed and they couldn’t be prepared any more. We ordered a red wine and were told they didn’t have it, they suggested a rosé. We didn’t want it so another waiter came with a sample of white wines. When we explained that what we wanted was a red wine he went back and found what we had order an hour earlier. I was so furious and disappointed that decided to pay the day-pass and spent the rest of the time in the island at Èteka where everything is pretty, food is delicious, service is wonderful and prices are comparable if not better. At the time to leave Namaste I tried to arrange the boat pick up and had to work around their schedule. I was originally told that the boat was available every half an hour, but to my surprise that was not the case. The time I needed (1:30 pm) was lunch break and they weren’t even sure that the boat was going to be available because that is the day when they bring in the supplies. After lots of back and forth we were finally able to leave that nightmare of a place at 12:30 pm.

For my husband's birthday we decided to spend a day at the Namaste Beach Club. The boat taking us from Cartagena was on time and when we got there we were pleasantly greeted by our host who spoke English. The food was good, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our time there was exceptional including taking photos of my husband and I at different interesting locations around the beach club and hotel (they were all amazingly done), and bringing my husband a birthday dessert. There's absolutely nothing that I could complain about....given the price was so affordable, we couldn't ask for anything more. Even though there was a language barrier, our server worked with us and I could tell that she genuinely cared about our experience and ensuring that we had a good time. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I’m so happy we went! When we arrived we was greeted and received our welcome drink which was super refreshing. Led to our table and seating area that was near the water. The breeze and sun was perfect! We lounged, ate and drank the entire time! 10/10 would recommend

The day we spent in Namaste in Cartagena was relaxing and very nice. Beautiful lounge music and not loud. When tired you just want peace and a Zen feeling. To recover from the hard work from the day before. Good food!!! Very friendly and serviceminded crew. They were very attentive and always with a smile on their faces!!! Hopefully in the future we will be allowed to take a swim in the pool too!! Keep the good work and we will keep coming!!! Alverna and Klm crew

Had a great experience at Namasté! Their staff were very attentive and friendly including the front desk women and Miguel was one of our servers! The yoga and fire ritual were our favorite. Rooms gave a jungly but comfortable vibe. Food was delicious and overall would recommend for a day or night getaway! There was a bit loud music on the weekends in the surrounding areas as there are a few locals.

There were several problems with our room. - Our door did not lock from the inside - I paid for a king size bed and was given two twin beds pushed together - the faucet in our bathroom did not work - Our mosquito net had holes in it - They stranded us on a pitch black dark beach for an hour waiting for a boat to bring us to the hotel. They did not answer our phone calls. - There was no drinkable water at the hotel unless you paid for it or brought it yourself. None of these issues were addressed when they were raised with the hotel staff I would not recommend this hotel. Several other reviewers mentioned that they mistreated Black guests and I would agree. The beach incident, where they made us wait on a dark, sketchy beach for an hour, was completely unacceptable. As another reviewer said, a peso from a Black person is the same as from a White person, and Namaste’s owners would be smart to learn that lesson. There are other beach hotels on Tierra Bomba worth staying at.

what a magical place to disconnect (and connect to what’s important). so wonderful to find an option devoted to health and well being in Cartagena. Their monthly medicine ceremonies are also super recommended!

I highly recommend staying here for a few days. It's a magical place. This place is a great example of a customer service oriented business. There were things during our stay that were a tiny bit uncomfortable, but it just really didn't matter, because their staff made sure we were treated extremely well. They went above and beyond in accommodating us. We had our wedding ceremony planned out and it went so beautifully. The "sacred tree" alone is worth the trip.... And the shaman lady and her partner who played guitar made it an unforgettable day for us. On top of that, the food, the music and the vibe were all so lovely. The beach club is super hip and cozy. They also do yoga, meditation, and live tribal music, which we enjoyed a lot. The crowd was also pleasant. Everyone was super nice and respectful. Awesome place!

We had a bad experience since we purchased a day pass where we paid 30 dollars for kids meal and they have ice cream included but was never given. I think they need to improve costumer Service, So I do not recommend it.

Summary: - Too expensive - Very slow service - Not a nice beach We had reserved a day (until 5 pm) to relax in the Namaste Beach Club. The tour by boat is organized by them (either at 9 or 10 am from Playa Castillo Grande to Namaste Beach Club). We had chosen 10 am and were there at 9:45 am. We then had to wait another 50 minutes until the boat was there. The service at the beach club is very slow. A friend waited an hour for his meal. Drinks came after about 30 minutes. So at the beginning we had no water at 30 degrees. After that, we always reordered early enough. I don't understand why ordering drinks takes so long. Other guests were served much faster, tourists may not be welcome here either. Around 2:30 pm my friend and I wanted to order food or have the menu. We were told that we would not receive the menu because there was almost nothing left to eat and what was there would take an hour. We then refused. Unfortunately, the beach or rather there is only a small access to the sea is not appealing (see photos). We were therefore not in the sea, as the beach is unfortunately not a sandy beach and the sea is dirty. With the daily price (180,000 COP) I don't recommend the Namaste Beach Club.

They are rough with the prices, 80$ for two people?? I mean the place is nice, if you think about the other cafes, the only clean one without flies and other stuff, but man come on?? The beach is not put any effort in, so we werent going in the water, just chilled at the swing and a bed. Also the place was completely empty, and for that price they tried to put us in a place with a direct sun, saying they were reserving other 10 EMPTY seats for someone (my free guess they wanted more $, so that was a bit rude, but after they saw we werent gonna buy it they “now somehow managed to replace the reservation and put us in a place in the shadows, yet our entire stay no one from their kept reservations showed up). Overall rip off and definitely I would not go any other time not just to Namaste, but the whole island is a waste of time.

We have been here two times in one week. The first time we stayed overnight with a romantic dinner in the evening. This was a great experience. The staff where friendly and really did their best to accomodate us and made us feel welcome. The food was wonderful. The romantic dinner was really good and well dressed. The place looked really great and the room was ok. The second time we had a not so great experience. This time we where with a small group. The staff gave us the impression they did not want to be there. It was more busy than the last time and they clearly could not handle it. We did not feel welcome at all. Lunch order was a big mess. This really made our first impression fade away. Also we where told we could only use 3 beds as the other beds where occupied. However none of the other beds where occupied when we where there. The name Namasté suggests it is a zen place. However we did not experience this at all. Really loud salsa music did not make it yoga. Based on the last experience we would not go there anymore.

Came here for a day trip and the whole experience was everything I needed! Our host Jon was so kind and helpful! We did a package from a local Colombiana and were able to get a deal of 15 min massage, 2 sessions of meditation and 40 mil pesos towards any food/beverage, all for about $50. The meditation w the instructor (sorry forgot his name) was one of the best sessions I’ve ever done! He played his guitar and sang us whatever came to his heart and it was truly mesmerizing! Their set up was absolutely beautiful as well! Would definitely recommend anyone to go visit here! I would definitely go back if I ever visit Cartagena again!!

Awesome stay! Transportation by boat to and from the island were included in our hotel stay. We also did the free yoga and meditation classes. Atmosphere was wonderful and relaxing, a great escape from the hectic chaos of the city beaches. Definitely recommend.

Clean and calm beach club, the Manager Lady is highly professional and speaks perfect English. The day we were there the departure back to shore was a bit chaotic but it didn't seem to be the normal. Pay attention to Namaste vs Bomba beach, which is not nice but you might end up there anyway, which almost happened to us. Service upfront was responsive via whatsapp and pricing of food and drinks is fair.

This place is so great, they create such a beautiful experience with the cabanas, hammocks, music and view. The food we had was delicious and the drinks were great. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I trust that as tourism keeps booming, that ownership will put some systems in place to keep everything organized. The registration process was messy along with services offered the day of. Some of the things included in our package weren’t available even though we purchased the higher package. They worked to fix it though which was much appreciated! With a little more organization in place from management these problems wouldn’t happen. The staff need a better system to keep track of everything and then it will really be such a wonderful, top notch experience. Keeping some of the people selling things from coming up into the club area would make it even more relaxing as well. If you’re wondering if you should go, just do it.

Asked them online how much it cost - they told me they had various prices - 80 dollars or 75 dollars. I had to go to their website to see they also had a standard price of 50 dollars. Why didn’t they tell me that price straight away? Classic Cartagena - always looking to stiff the tourists out of more cash. 🤑

Me encanta la hotel!! I came here with my girlfriend and we stayed here for a day and it was so nice. Everybody was so sweet and the food muy rico. There’s so many things to do like jet skis, massages, or just chillin in cute beach beds. I am so sad I had to go. Thank you so much!!

😠 I’m disappointed in the service we have been having at crepes and waffles. Extremely slow, rude waitresses, they do not give you attention- plus there was a green worm in our food. Did not take it off our bill

👍 If the servers were only helpful and friendly I would give this restaurant five stars. The servers seem to have an attitude and an air of snootiness. Not acceptable. The food is well presented but it does take a while to get it. My Poblano crepe was quite acceptable. The mushroom crepe was super yum...
