They were amazing, I wanted to see the sea life and not the party life. They did a great job of taking us to sights out of the way and spending extra time snorkeling highly recommend!!

I had the greatest time diving for the first time! All of the instructors thoroughly helped me through this experience. With special help of Juan, lead instructor of my mini course. Juan did an excellent job of guiding me through equalizing, making sure I was comfortable and made sure my group understood all of the diving strategies . Instructors Andres and Junior were also a great help throughout this journey and helped with my gear. Thank you for an awesome experience!

I had an amazing experience with Dive Planet. In a fact I’ve plan another trip with them. They will take care of you from reception til the end. My dive instructor was Juan. Not only did he give me the attention that I needed underwater but he took amazing photos and videos of the dive. I have memories for a life time. The underwater landscape was beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like it. They had ten plus dive sites. If you are a diver, it doesn’t matter what your experience is you will appreciate this place. From the Captain to the dive team this is a place you must visit. One big plus just about everyone spoke English. This alone build my confidence and trust. If you get the opportunity do not pass up a wonderful opportunity. One more thing, mask filled up with water and my dive master Juan took off his mask at 60 feet to offer me his mask. In my opinion, he went beyond the call of duty.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Diving Planet! It was our first diving experience and, as I'm a less confident swimmer, I was a little nervous. We were greeted at the docks by Rawer, who was so friendly and encouraging and generously shared his own journey into becoming a dive master. His story of falling in love with diving helped me feel more excited about our experience. Our dive instructor Juan was incredible. He was so patient with me while practising in the pool and while explaining everything in perfect English. Unfortunately our go pro wasn't charged, but Juan offered to send some photos to us to remember our experience. I was mesmerized by the corals and we saw some beautiful fish along the reef. We also enjoyed our meal at the hotel, which was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone - especially first-time divers as I felt so confident and safe.

Diving planet reserved a spot for my dad, my dog and after another diving company left us behind as we were 15 min late. They accommodated us very well for all the specific services we needed (the dog, my dad stayed at the hotel and I went diving). Well recommended

The communication and experience were absolutely 5 stars, we will be day dreaming of our snorkeling trip for years to come. The resort we were brought to for lunch (food was decent nothing to write home about, approx 2 PM) and prior to going out was amazing too. All the guides and interactions were so friendly and warm, just book it!

Worst diving experience ever. They never checked if I had any diving certification. Once you arrive on the island, you just say hello, grab your stuff and jump on a boat that was way too crowded. Then you dive, you come back, 15 min break and you jump again on the boat. Then comes the lunch straight after the 2nd dive, they urge you to go to the table and eat as quickly as possible. You have no time to enjoy the pool even if on their website they tell you the contrary. Some people haven't dived in a while and they obviously felt bad about having to jump immediately on the water without a bit of refreshing. The diving gears were quite old and the masks didn't offer much visibility. At least they were nice, but not caring at all. I strongly don't recommend this place for your dive around cartagena.

Diving in Colombia wasn't on my radar before I planned a trip to Cartagena, and I had a travel agent book my trip so I wasn't really sure what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised- the reef was beautiful and the water was warm (85-91° F/29-32° C). I met Dive Planet at the Marina Todo Mar at 8 am for the hour long boat trip to Isla Grande of the Rosario Islands. We geared up after we arrived at Cocoliso Resort, and it was about 11 am before we got in the water for our first dive. After the first dive, we went back to Cocoliso for fresh tanks, then off for the second dive. After the second dive, we had lunch and then Dive Planet dropped me at Majagua, where I had a reservation for the night, and then picked me up again at 6 pm for a night dive. Although I would have liked to do more than 3 dives in a day, the fact that the diving doesn't begin until the boat from Cartagena arrives meant that theoretically I could have slept in because I didn't have to be at the dock until after 10 am. Juaquin (sp?), our dive guide for all five dives was fantastic! Dive Planet does a good job of making sure dive groups aren't too big, and Juaquin as well as another employee that went on one of our dives did a good job of pointing out eels, crustaceans, squid, sea horses, and other marine life. I hope to come back again, maybe for 5 or 6 days, and do more diving. Maybe by then they will be able to offer more than just 2 day dives and one night diver per day.

Great dive shop in Cartagena! I did my refresher with Isabel in the pool and a fun dive with Juan. The refresher was very comprehensive and was everything I needed after not diving for a few years. It took me a while to equalize on the fun dive but Juan was very patient and allowed me to resurface and try again. I would definitely recommend Diving Planet!

Excellent diving company. Efficient and professional staff. The equipment seemed to be in good shape. Not too expensive for two dives in Islas del Rosario considering it takes up pretty much the whole day. (Transport by boat takes 1h to 1h30 each way) The included lunch was nothing special, but good enough.

In June, we went diving with Diving Planet Cartagena and we had an amazing experience. I recommend you take a dive package if you have the time, budget and certification. If you never dove before, then you can do a course with them to learn how to dive. They follow the safety guidelines and make sure you have a pleasant and safe dive. Also, they do a good briefing before and explain everything in detail in front. We took a package of 7 dives, which gave us the time to discover multiple dive spots around the island. With a package of multiple dives, you also do a night dive. I thought I would be too scared, but it was actually one of my favorite dives ever. We also loved the fact they protect the corals and do coral restoration. They also go diving with people who have disabilities and do programs for them.

We did our dives on Feb 5, 2024. On that day, the weather was wonderful, and the visibility was perfect. The outfitters spoke good English and had new gear. We were heading to the islands on a very fast boat - as if escaping from Dutch border guards. The most pleasant part was the well-planned underwater routes. It seemed like our guide personally knew every crab and lobster down there.

I had a really good time. The dives with Fito & Lea were great! Everybody was really nice and I felt really save! The night dive was super cool. We didn’t see so much wildlife but it was a great experience.

Had a great time on 2 day dives and a night dive! The dive masters are all wonderful and very professional and skilled. The night dive was AMAZING -- we saw so many unique things and they made sure to have smaller groups so we felt safe. Would definitely use them again. My only constructive feedback is that they should take out smaller groups on the day dives. There were 16 people on our boat and 8 people per group. It was too crowded both on the boat and in the water. Overall great, though!

Really enjoyable day with Juan and the team. It was my first time scuba diving and they were very informative and helpful. I had great confidence for my dive after the morning training in the pool. We saw loads of variety of fish and the coral was a sight to behold. Lunch and transportation also good. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience with diving planet cartagena in getting my padi open water diving certificate. The owner Andres was very responsive and flexibel with last minute booking changes. The 2 day diving experience in itself was also wonderfull thanks to the amazing staff. My teacher Petra made me feel safe, secure and was really patient for my first dive. If you want discover the impressive underwater world, I would highly recommend diving planet 🤿.

It was a great experience! We received a very good training in the pool before diving in the sea, the views were beautiful: big fish, coral reefs - like wooow! And the team was so nice and kind! They even took great photos of us! However, I got really scared in one moment. Lots of water went into my glasses and I couldn’t see anything. So I had to go up to the surface from the bottom. Honestly I was very scared when it happened because it’s prohibited to move up or down quickly but I couldn’t control that when it happened. I wish somebody helped me in that moment🙏

Really enjoyed the two dives I did with Diving Planet crew, who are friendly and helpful. The first one was at a wreck that is covered in coral, and the second was at a “wall” with more coral and fishes. Visibility was great, water was comfortably warm (no wetsuit needed), there was minimal current. The lunch and access to hotel amenities (pool, hammocks) were also appreciated. Fantastic experience!

AMAZING!! I do not have enough words to describe my experience with them. I traveled solo to the Rosario islands. All the staff was extremely friendly, they picked me up from my hotel and drop me there afterwards. They even took pictures and videos during the dive without additional costs!! (In other countries they have charged me quite a bit, and per person). Special thanks to Junior for this :) The instructions were in English but also Juan took the time to translate to Spanish and always making sure that everyone in the group was following. They work in small groups so it feels cozy. They explained us what to expect beforehand and had the patience to show us the diversity of the corals in the Rosario National Park. Something that I love is that while diving with them, we are contributing to the conservation initiatives of corals, they promote ecotourism working directly with local communities, and they are part of the program of adaptive scuba for people with disabilities. Highly recommended!!

The entire day was a wonderful experience. Andres and his entire team were professional and very focused on each person being taken care of. Very thing was well organized and the staff were attentive to everyone’s needs. The diving was great. They took us to beautiful sites, the equipment was very good and the groups were small so everyone received attention. There was good and personal attention to every detail from registration to return. It was a complete day and not just a couple dives. We highly recommend Diving Planet and look forward to going again.

Had a great first time diving experience with Diving Planet. I went with my girlfriend. We went through a mini course in English with one of the instructors, Isabel. She and another instructor then went out to the ocean with us. Led us into the water and made us feel as comfortable as we needed to be to begin the dive. As I began my descent, I ran into issue with pain in my ear due to pressure so Isabel found a comfortable depth for me to swim at and carried me through the whole experience. Thanks to her I had a great experience diving! The other instructor also did a great job with helping my girlfriend out with her buoyancy. Thanks Diving Planet

All around amazing operation for diving. I had zero experience, but my instructor Juan was incredible. He spoke perfect English, had really good instructions during the pool session, and was extremely attentive during the dive in the ocean. Juan helped me face my fear and have a great time in the process. Highly recommend for novices and experts alike

Amazing experience with Dive Planet. I bought my friend a scuba dive experience for his birthday. Although I was certified, he wasn’t. Dive Planet accommodated us, and let me dive with his beginner class. The trip was well organized, the diving was beautiful (such tall corals!) and I enjoyed the food they served for lunch. I had an amazing experience diving with Rawer.Not only did I learn alot from him for my Open Water Certificate but i also found a friend.He was such a cool person ( I look up to him).His English was very good for any foreigners and he is a motivating person.He even took pictures of me during dives which I found very nice of him.I recommend this diving center 👌 Thank you Rawer for making this experience enjoyable!

I never leave reviews , this is anchor big exception for me I recently went diving With this company the dive instructor her name is Daniela she is very confident and professional she arrange the boat and the equipment she looked at her everyone excellently. You would do well especially if you have someone with you inexperienced I think she is a very good instructor ! If you want more Lapoint to be looked after and you want her to her to be safe you should hire Daniela I have Dive many locations in the world and I rarely see someone given to detail and safety like Danielle so five stars to the company hiring her you are in excellent hands!!!

We were recommended this place at breakfast from a rando, and it was the best part of the trip. I didn't expect to go scuba diving on this trip, it was my first time going, and they were amazing. I'm not even a confident swimmer and they helped walked us through everything. The people, the island, the reef, the experience were all fantastic. Thanks guys!

As a very inexperienced swimmer, I was extremely nervous about doing scuba for the first time, but Jorge and the rest of the team were tremendous instructors and guides, putting me at ease with their professionalism and answering my questions with patience and good humor. When the time came to go on our dive, I knew I could rely on the folks to take good care of me and help me enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Very Friendly Staff. Maira was very helpful, knowledgeable and fun to talk too. I was able to dive with friends that never dove before after they took a mini course, absolutely amazing. A+

Very nice diving in Rosario island. Great corals and lots sealife. Its a 1hr boat ride to rosario where you disembark, prepare your gear and get on a smaller diving boat (transit is a larger boat with other tourists). Between the dives you go back to the beach for 15 min to swap tanks, nice to have some rest. They provided lunch in the hotel on the island which was quite nice. Friendly staff. Only remark is that the equipment was quite basic (fins, mask) and both our depth gauges didn't work!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at diving planet. It was our first time diving and we did the open water course. They did a excellent job of explaining everything to us in english and in Spanish at times for me ( I am native Spanish speaker) and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.

We had an amazing time doing 3 immersions with Junior, including a night dive where we saw lots of crabs and lobsters. As a former diving instructor myself, I can attest we received very professional and safe services. Highly recommended.

Everyone was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Our snorkel guide told us about the fish we saw and directed us to better viewing. The winds and chop were not ideal, but they took us to a good location where we could see coral and fish. The island home-base was calm and very beautiful. Would recommend it to a friend.

We were a party of 2 with limited swimming abilities and yes, we chose to scuba dive for the first time ever in the ocean🤘🏻. The staff are professional and informative from beginning to end and at no point were we left questioning. Our instructor Isabelle was thorough, patient, made sure we were safe, and kept eyes on us the whole time. The waters were clear, we saw plenty of beautiful fish and live coral reefs. Lunch was delish as well as we were served stir fried rice with chicken and veggies. This scuba company has initiatives where part of our payment goes to restoring the coral reefs and scuba diving experience for people with disabilities which I feel like its a wonderful thing they're doing. We had plans with another company at first but we're glad we ended up with Diving Planet instead.

100% recommended! We took our first dive with Diving Planet, it was awesome! From the moment we booked, all information was clear and staff very nice. The island you land on for the preparation and waiting time is also very nice and free for you to use. The instructor Isa was the best, clear and reassuring, thanks a lot again! Highlight of my Colombia trip for sure!
