🫤 Very poor service, horribly actually. The restaurant is nice and they sell the ambience well. Food is overpriced for the quality, flavour and presentation. Taste is good. Staff is really rude and they think they know better, lack of good management and lots of training. Zero knowledge of hospitality... People often mention good, service, restaurant, amazing, experience, great, nice, menu, Cartagena, staff,

Agua de leon is a modern pretentious restaurant wich delivers on its looks. Obviously a bit pricy but with a good price quality correlation. The food, ambience and service are all consistently good. Starters: Grilled octopus, pretty good it comes with a base of squash pure, romesco mayonaise and spanish chorizo. ADL Cheese, my favorite entree. Fried costeño cheese with corn, arepa pureeand truffle honey. Its a must if you come here. Rausted cauliflower, fried coconut in a suero sauce. Nice option for veggies. Main dishes: Truffled burger, 180gms beef with truffled mayonaisse and bacon jam. Pretty good hamburger, good bread and meat. Side fries are ok. Osobuko (meat) with blue cheese rissotto. The rissotto withblue cheese makes a great compliment with the meat. Repeatable. Dessert: The recommended from other reviews was the brownie cake, the ran out of stock so we had the creamy chocolate cake. Soft cake with nice sweet caramel milk. Ok

This was one of the tastiest spots we tried in Cartagena! Highly recommend the plantain gnocchi with truffle honey and parmesan, as well as the tuna tartar which comes with ponzu sauce, avocado mousse, green mango, and peanut emulsion! The cocktails are delicious as well! It does have a small menu and is a bit on the expensive side but still a five star for me! Try it out soon!

Had to wait 15+ minutes for someone to come take our order when the place was empty. Every waiter was just on their phones 📱 I asked to sit somewhere near the entrance and was told there was a reservation… the place was absolutely empty and could’ve been sat where I asked since no one came in by the time we left. Loved the vibe with good music and cool AC, but their service could use some more work.

I ordered as main dish Picanha & Capeletti with and addition of Truffle and the dish was really good, I would definitely go again to have exactly the same. The truffle, however, was not as tasteful as I expected and the addition was almost the price of a dish so I was hoping to have a Truffle as I know them but unfortunately the experience was not so good with that... the restaurant has also a very inconvenient way of serving it that they should immediately change (a very small device with a very sharp knife. Not comfortable and also risky for waiters, we had a little experience there). The other main dishes were not as especial as mine (I tried them because the others were not as happy as I was with the meat), I felt them a bit over priced for what they were. Nevertheless, mine was very good (despite the non good experience with the truffle, please change that) so I guess it's matter of knowing what are the good dishes. I didn't love the fact that I couldn’t find in the menú non alcohol drinks so I ordered a bit "blind". The environment of the restaurant is nice and the staff is kind and helpful.

Food is very good. They do not have menus - must use a QR code. They were having internet issues so it took awhile to check out the menu. Our group had a variety of appetizers and entrees. The Spicy Cavatelli was very good - nice sauce which was not overly spicy and the Cavatelli was firm. The Margherita pizza had a very good dough - personal size - 4 slices. The Empanadas were a hit - crispy and flavorful. We wanted a Malbec wine bottle but it was out of stock. The Sauvignon Blanc was fine. The music was a bit loud which made dinner conversation a little challenging. Restaurant had a modem, minimalist feel. A decent meal.

Finally an international level place in this beautiful city. This is, from now on, my favorite place in Cartagena. Sophisticated, mind blowing and exquisite. Great atmosphere, excellent options in the menu (international Bistro style) and the price was good. Definitely a place to keep coming back.

Wow!!... This place left us speechless, their cuisine took our taste buds to a whole new level! Each dish was just better than the last one, and how to forget about the Cocktails, their pisco sour was just amazing!!!! We tried different dishes and they kept on surprising us, from our experience we can truly recommend sharing a few plates in the following order: Entree: 1.Lobster Brisket Bun 2. Tuna Mains: 3. Pork Belly ( amazing dish) 4.Calamari in black Ink with Couscous Desserts: 5. Tres leches or the fried ice cream If you are shy of sharing and truly hungry, you can't miss their Pork Belly paired with a great Pisco Sour.

Nice dinner spot with good service. The menu isn’t large and they had a few items they were out of but our server made 3 recommendations which we enjoyed. The lobster roll and the tuna ceviche for appetizers were great. The steak over rice was also delicious but just a bit too salty.

I had great expectations about this restaurant but it didn’t surprise me at all. Food is normal and overpriced. The menu is pretty small, there are not too many options. The place is definitely beautiful and nice, good atmosphere as well, but food is not gonna change your life. Probably would give it a second chance but my first one was disappointing.

Amazing menu everything we had was stellar. In order of preference: octopus, picanha, vodka pasta, paella, patatas bravas, ceviche, empanadas, lobster roll

Highly recommended... if you are looking for a good service and amazing food. You won't regret it... we just passed by and we decided to enter and we were amazed by the taste of their food. Really great and amazing experience for our first anniversary.

Disappointing Experience I have to express my disappointment following my recent visit to the restaurant, which did not meet the standards of my past visits. My party and I arrived around 1:30 PM, at a time when the restaurant was not overly crowded, with plenty of seating available for many more patrons besides the few couples present. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated by a staff member who I could identify by a distinctive silver ball piercing under her lower lip. We were placed near the entrance, somewhat out of sight from the main dining area. Unfortunately, our seating location seemed to result in a lack of service, as we waited for about 8 minutes without being approached for our orders or offered drinks. I eventually decided to inquire about the delay and encountered another server who seemed genuinely unaware of our presence and quite embarrassed by the oversight. It became apparent that the initial staff member who seated us was more engaged in a conversation near the cashier's station with other team members, neglecting to notify her colleagues of our arrival and seating location. I fondly remember times when this restaurant stood out for its excellent service and dining experience. It is disheartening to observe such a shift in priorities, where customer service seems to have taken a back seat. I hope the management and owners consider this feedback seriously, and put in efforts to enhance the service quality, especially during the Sunday daytime shifts. Maintaining a proactive and attentive customer service approach is key to sustaining a successful operation in the bustling Cartagena culinary scene. I remain hopeful that with focused management and dedicated staff training, the restaurant can reclaim its previous status as a favorite destination for both locals and visitors.

Incredible experience from beginning to end!! Everyone was so welcoming! Stopped in for a quick drink and spent the afternoon, having the most delicious lunch and drinks!!! Christian the bartender exceeded our expectations!!! I highly recommend the gnocchi and ceviche appetizers!! Truly a memorable experience!! Will be back before we leave for sure!! Thank you!!

There is no reason this restaurant shouldn’t have 5 stars. It should have a Michelin star. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel butterflies in your stomach. This restaurant has an open concept, allowing you to walk around freely, see the kitchen working, the bar, and the entire restaurant. You are free to do as you wish as if you are home. They encourage you to treat your server as if you are friends. From the climate, to the music, to the service, everything is perfect. The temperature inside is very well ventilated, perfect temperature, and the music is amazing to set the mood of the restaurant. This place is on the expensive side with a meal for two costing $350k pesos or $80 USD. We had the eggplant hummus as a starter and for mains the “Sunflowers” and from my hard to impress my mother, was “out of this world.” As for myself, I had the Beef and Langoustine Yakisoba. I would HIGHLY recommend either dish. The Yakisoba had a little kick to it but was suuuper good along with the beef that they had in it, among the best meat I’ve ever had. For desert, my mom and I shared the Tres Leches cake was great also. Our server, Manuel provided amazing service, despite some language barriers, but I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant.

Came here for dessert. Ordered the smore and chocolate tart. They were delicious but very expensive. Service at the start was very slow, despite there being 6 waiters standing in a group chatting and only 2 other tables of customers downstairs. Once we were finally acknowledged and given a code for the menu, the service was a bit better. Beautiful atmosphere.

Centrally located Restaurant. Atmosphere is modern clean. Food is good and cocktails are interesting. Service is a little slower. The Bread Basket was interesting served with Tomato and Garlic butter. Their local cocktails were fun and seafood fresh.

Incredible, friendly service, great cocktails and even better food. We wanted to experience Colombian food but high end, and this place definitely delivered. We got the gnocchi, ceviche, smoked eggplant and New York steak. All were amazing!!! I will be thinking about this food for a long long time.

Sensational in every way. The best food we've eaten in Colombia. Amazing ceviche.... original marinade garnished with vegetable crisps to contrast the textures. Pizza with truffles was top class as was the salmon on a bed of carrot purée. Service was slick and friendly. Modern music, excellent concept decor and great vibe. Didn't break the bank. Just fabulous. Well done.

The food is Okay not delish as you would expect. The service is really slow and the waiters are not trained in customer service. They are most worried about looks and their aesthetics Than the customers. We had a large party of people for dinner and to be honest we expected better food quality. The terrace has a problem with the smoke from the kitchen and all of us left with very irritated and watery eyes due to the amount of smoke.

We stumbled upon this gem in the walled old city of Cartegena. Our party had a variety of dishes, the meatballs were fresh no fillers, the brisket was magnificent with the smooth demi-glace. The Mexican Bowl was delectible. The youngest in our party had the burger and was all smiles. Dessert was one suprise after another. A bit chocolate centric(not complaining), but terrific. This dining room is well appointed with all the bells and whistles of modern contemporary decor. Definitely a must try, you won't be disappointed.

As a vegetarian/vegan difficult to find food in Cartagena 😒 stumbled upon this restaurant as we were walking . Checked the menu they had few things . Tried the plantain gnocchi too sweet and majority oily .we had palms of heart which was really good .. tried the caprese salad was very different felt like I was eating ricotta cheese .the tomatoes were grilled which tasted bad but the cheese was different.over all okay as vegetarian would not go back . This city needs to cater to vegan and vegetarian tourists which is a big population

Great service with a huge liquor selection that's hard to find elsewhere in Cartagena. Get the carajillo- you'll love it!

😠 I’m disappointed in the service we have been having at crepes and waffles. Extremely slow, rude waitresses, they do not give you attention- plus there was a green worm in our food. Did not take it off our bill

👍 If the servers were only helpful and friendly I would give this restaurant five stars. The servers seem to have an attitude and an air of snootiness. Not acceptable. The food is well presented but it does take a while to get it. My Poblano crepe was quite acceptable. The mushroom crepe was super yum...
