This tour is an amazing way to see and experience Cartagena. We started off with a chocolate, coffee, and run tasting. Our amazing guides, Kristy, Liliana, and Jose then helped us easy out way across the city. We tried mangos, several types of arepas, deditos de queso, and more. In to of that we learned the history of the city, the current state of the social struggles, and some amazing art work. If you are ever in Cartagena, you can't spend your 30 bucks on anything better! We are also a very large group and Kristy did a great job of making it work and talking to all of us.

Found this company to be very professional and extremely helpful and exceptionally good value. The tours on offer cover every aspect of Cartagena culture, history, food and night life. We booked a Market tour that gave us a real insight into every day life ,was heaps of fun and something we would not have been able to do by ourselves. We also took the food and history tour. Our tour guide Kristy was recommended to us and it turned out to be the best advice we could have received . !!

We booked two tours with CC and had fantastic experiences at each one. Planning our tours was hassle free and communication through WhatsApp was quick. Daniel showed us around the Bazurto Market, he shared history while showing us the market, sampling local fruit, snacks, and some hidden gems. We finished with lunch, which was some of the most delicious food we had during our trip to Colombia. We also booked a private boat tour of the Rosario Islands, where Ana helped coordinate our day and itinerary. She made everything so easy and since our group speaks very limited Spanish, she was well appreciated through out the day. Everything worked out so well, the guides were excellent, these two tours exceeded our expectations and were the most fun activities during our trip to Colombia!

Kristy was an amazing guide and extremely helpful when trying to accomodate our vegan friend on the street food tour. There is really limited options for a vegan but she really made us all feel welcome and included. She is a wealth of knowledge on history and culture of Cartagena and makes the information fun and engaging. I really couldn't recommend the tour more. It's way more than just a food tour!

Incredible! You found the best!! Cartagena Connections operates with the highest level of respect and understanding for the area. You are in for a treat! The guide takes you on an empassioned roller coaster ride through highlight after highlight. Over those fun hours, I learned more about Colombia and the Coast than I had in months of solo study and travel. Seriously - this is an unmissable opportunity. Do a tour closer to the beginning of your trip. You'll want to follow up on the countless tips, restaurant reviews, local dance tutorials and other priceless wisdom on offer -- the wisdom of indulgence in local cultural treasures. We can't thank Cartagena Connections enough. This was a true highlight of our long trip. We will definitely plan another tour with them soon -- when was the last time you thought that about a tour?!?!

We did the Street Food tour with Kristy and not only was the food super delicious, Kristy has a variety of interesting bits to share on the history of the old town. I thought I already knew the city before I took the tour, but I discovered many new places. HIGHLY recommended.

I’m so glad I went with this team! I’ve come to Cartagena a couple of times in the past and love it but with my limited Spanish and so many options it can be overwhelming. I felt like I could actually trust Cartagena Connections and Kristy (who I’m assuming is the owner/lead tour guide something or other) knew the city and guided us in a way that made us feel comfortable. For someone like me that cares mostly about food the food tour was perfect because you learn and get to sample different things. They also helped us choose a great island adventure too which I’ve kind of gotten screwed on in the past (like I said it gets confusing if you don’t know who or what you’re dealing with). Anyway - can’t recommend these guys enough! I felt like we not only enjoyed our time more but we actually got a chance to learn about the place and so many things we would have overlooked. Now someone take me back to whatever island/beaches I went to and give me a coconut!!!!

Cartagena Connections is such a fantastic way to see the city and experience the local culture. Kristy is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of the local community and that shines through on her tours! I attended the street food tour and I cannot recommend it enough! If you're wanting to dabble in street food and learn the local ways then this is the tour for you! More broadly Cartagena Connections is the one stop shop for info on all of the best spots in town!

Had the best experiences with Cartagena Connections! They set us up with a coffee tasting at Cafe Del Mural that completely changed how we thought about coffee. Unforgettable, delicious, very educational. Then we did a market tour with Dan, he was so friendly and knew the maze of the alleys and stalls well. Definitely go with a guide. Dan had great vibes and helped us buy produce. He made sure we got to try local juice and fruit and surprised us with a souvenir at the end, a customized poster from a local artist. Communication with March at CC before, during and after the experiences was friendly, responsive and helpful. Recommend working with them for all sightseeing and touristic needs!

We had booked a private street food tour in cartegena. Henry was amazing. He took us to multiple food carts and had us try the most amazing food, all while giving us great history of the city and different neighborhoods. It was the best part of our stay in Cartegena. Highly recommend this company!!

What a cool experience! If you're lucky, Dan will be your guide. A super cool local with great vibes. He will take you to spots that you would otherwise walk right past and not notice. He will take you to try 2 types of arepas, empenadas, deditos and much more, beer included! Not only will you taste great food, Dan also tells you about the people, music, art, dance and history of cartegena l. honestly one of the best food tours we have been on, thanks so much Dan!

If you are a person visiting Cartagena for the first time, Cartagena Connections is a must. Tour guide Daniel was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and he makes you feel at home. I would definitely recommend CC. If you want that local Dominican experience ask for Daniel.

We took the street food walking tour, and we highly enjoyed it! The tour guide was friendly and accommodating (I had forgotten to mention my mango allergy at registration like I was supposed to). We were introduced to the local favorite stalls and spots that we never would have found on our own. Delicious tour, and we got to take some great photos of the colorful neighborhoods. Highly recommend the tour and this agency!

I came for a food tour and left with not only a full belly but also a mind full of Colombian history and a tour of the city. March got me off the main streets, shared her knowledge and love of her country and made me feel so welcome. It was more like hanging out with a girlfriend than a tour guide. Highly recommend! Thank you March ❤️

We spent two half-days with Kristy exploring Cartagena, and the experience was 10/10 excellent! We loved her tours because it feels more like a friend/local is showing you around the city, with insider info and local experiences, rather than a canned "follow the umbrella" tour. She knows all about the history of Cartagena and shares thoughtful insight, as well as conveying her love for what makes Cartagena so special! I'd absolutely recommend Cartagena Connections to anyone visiting this city!

Kristy was a great guide to not only the food but also the history of Cartagena. Wear sneakers and come hungry because there is a ton of food on this tour! Will definitely recommend to my friends who visit.
