From start to finish working with Boats4U was problematic. After confirming the booking and payment methods months in advance for our 20 person private charter, the owner of the company attempts to scam us the day before we are set to depart on our trip. It was previously agreed upon that we would pay in pesos upon arrival, but we were then told we must pay with a virtual transfer method at a rate much higher then agreed upon at the time of booking. After much back and forth it was deemed okay for us to pay with cash at the rate previously agreed, but only after many adamant messages. Upon arrival the day of our boat trip we find out that the address provided to us was months old. After being told numerous different things by a variety of uninformed staff (wasting over an hour of our morning) our large group had to provide our own transportation to a different location to get our boat. Once we arrived at this location there was again issues with getting one straight answer from staff, especially with regards to compensation for our struggles and loss of time due to the mistake of the owner. The representative we met at the marina was very helpful in bridging the communication gap and providing extra drinks and ice at no cost for our troubles, however this was a timely process. We agreed that our trip would be extended the time we lost in the morning (because we had paid for the full day’s service) HOWEVER this was not honored by the captain and we returned at the original stated time with no refund for our lost hours on the boat. Additionally, upon getting on the boat the captain immediately returns us to the original marina we were sent to to gather supplies for our trip! The staff on the boat was very rude to us and not flexible at all with letting us shape our experience (spending extra time at the places we enjoyed, leaving places early that we did not). The captain also drove extremely recklessly, physically harming passengers (whipping so passengers would fall out of their seats, stopping and starting suddenly to the point where those in the back flew almost off of the boat) and filling the boat with water on numerous occasions, despite rough water conditions and caution advised by other boats. Life jackets were not provided at any point. To end off our day we were simply dropped off on the side of the road and asked to disembark at a place that was not the marina we started the ride at.

We had a excellent time with Boats4U in Columbia. The crew was professional the ride was awesome. We sailed with the nicest person name Sharon she was so understanding and helpful make sure you ask for Sharon

We had a great time visiting the islands and beaches around Cartagena. The crew was extremely courteous and nice. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience. Our captain was an expert at navigating through tough waves without making us feel anything at all. A highlight of the trip was our Host, Juan Camillo, a young prosecutor and attorney, supporting tour groups on the side. Beyond his friendly helpfulness, he took it on himself to escort my younger family members when they wandered on the beach out of eye shot. That sort of protective attention was priceless to me.

Book this!!! Amazing day trip through the Rosario islands and Baru with our fantastic guide Sharon and crew, Edgar and Pablo! Definitely 100% worth the cost. Sharon, Edgar, and Pablo were extremely attentive to us the whole trip and let us spend more time riding around in the boat rather than relaxing on the beach when we asked them. Sharon even gave us some history of the region while we were boating. Also the snorkeling was actually great—lots of fish! Thanks for a fantastic day. It was one of the best of our trip!!!

Wow. What an amazing day trip through the Rosario Islands. We kept seeing boats jam packed with people who paid about $10 per person less than we did. Worth every penny. Our boat was spacious and clean. Our drivers Luis and Brian were exceptional. Our guide, Daniel, was wonderful. I highly recommend this company and this group of hosts.

Camilo took great care of me and my five friends as we celebrated the bride before the wedding! Camilo was very kind and professional; he was also punctual and helpful, especially once we were out on the water. He answered all of the questions that we had from start to finish. This was a wonderful experience. We couldn't have asked for a better representative and boat crew. I highly recommend this activity and that you book with Camilo; you will not be disappointed!

Stefany was not only knowledgeable with the area, as she thrilled us with captivating verbal histories of all locations we visited, but she was extremely professional and beyond personable. My kids left with a great experience and what made out to become a friend. We truly loved, loved, loved this trip!

Reliable - everything went as planned. The 30 foot motor boat was in good shape and had plenty of room for our group of 6 plus 2 crew. The skipper suggested different places to stop. Beware some beaches in the islands get very crowded especially around lunch.

We did a day-long private boat tour of the Rosario islands with Matteo during our recent trip to Cartagena. We are so glad we went with a private tour instead of a shared/public tour - it was worth every penny and the entire experience was perfect from pick up to drop off. Our tour guide Matteo was so friendly and knowledgeable and showed us some historic sites on the way to The Rosario Islands. We saw some sites including Pablo Escobars secret mansion on one of the island, swam in the crystal clear water, toured the islands, tasted fresh fish, oysters and drinks from the kayak benders and visited a private beach club. The experience was once in a life time, but our tour guide Matteo made it even better. We highly recommend Boats4U if you are considering doing a tour of the Rosario Islands while in Cartagena. They came highly recommended from our hotel and did not disappoint. We hope to be back again one day and experience this again!

Angie greeted and welcomed us right at the entrance of the marina making sure we have all of the essentials for our day at sea!
