As soon as your boat pulls up to this place, you see signs telling you that you can pay 50K pesos to take a pic with a dolphin. I thought "oh man this place is purely a tourist trap." Well, I was wrong about that. It is obviously for tourists, but it's not a trap and it's not a rip off. They have all kinds of cool creatures there, including many sharks and dolphins. They did a good job touring the crowd around the place, but also gave you freedom of movement. That dolphin photo was well worth it by the way. The tour was entirely in Spanish. I don't know if they have English or other languages. I didn't ask. I didn't see any signs or anything in English.

These guys do seem to really care for these animals and do a lot of conservation work and animal rehab for injured animals. Its chaotic at busy times and all in Spanish. Very inexpensive at £6 (30,000cop) to get in and you can get in the water with dolphins for $40 approx £32, if you want to. As you get off your boat the guys sell you entrance tickets and then you go to the kiosk before the entrance and ask to swim with the dolphins. It is more like a careful petting session and the dolphins are rewarded with fish to let you tickle their tummies. There is also a great opportunity to have your photo with a very friendly pelican for a donation to pay for his fish. Beautiful bird.

Shows an effort of conservation and rescue of animals. It is all a guided tour and doesn't take long, they make it fun and educational. Stay is less than an hour in total Worth the money if you like animals, don't buy into the whole zoos or aquariums are evil, there was no sign of any animals having bad health other than those who showed clear signs of being hurt in nature like a turtle lacking the back leg which you can see in the picture attached

Nice aquarium with turtles to touch, tanks with local life, and close views from above of dolphins, sharks, and other large creatures... I recommend going all the way to the gate and buying tickets directly from the aquarium at their booth. However, several people will try to sell you tickets in advance which are actually legitimate. They accept cash or card with a 10% fee for cards. My wife and daughter wanted to snorkel during our Rosario Island day tour, and my son and I wanted to visit this aquarium. Snorkeling is definitely the main attraction for the Rosario Island tours, and the aquarium is a nice side visit when splitting up the group for snorkeling.

Amazing open aquarium with sharks and dolphins. They show the animals in mini presentations and teach about preservation and looking after the environment. We visited from the nearby Pirate Island and it’s near other popular day tour islands so you can usually take a quick boat from another island (ours took us for about an hour and got us back in time for lunch!) I don’t usually like zoos or aquariums however this one focuses of sharing knowledge about the animals and has a strong environmental and animal protection message which is great for young visitors. This is an unmissable attraction in the area. Enjoy! 🐬🦈

Really cool place. The people that work there are really friendly. The animals they have there are really cool; sharks, dolphins, turtles, meros, and others! You will also learn about the different animals they have. They give you a really nice your around the place showing you one by one each one of the animals they have there. Come and check it out!

The place is very nice and the fish seems that are very well taken care of. The visit takes about one and a half hour and it's totally worth to pay it a visit if you're in the area. There is also a guided tour however only in Spanish language. There is a short dolphin show in the end of the tour. There is also a possibility to take photo of you and one dolphin, but only for women and children.

Big variety of aquatic animals. Fish, shark turtle and dolphins. We just have a few time because the tour boat to enjoy the place. 45 min. But was enough to see everything quickly, but could spend more time for sure.

Made for massive tourism, it is not well kept, and the quality of the installations, the aquarium and guidance is really poor. The government should intervine and set laws over the Rosario Islands in general. It is a beautiful sight but it is being heavily exploded by the uncontrolled visit of tourists, and the lack of other opportunities for the locals.

Excellent place, very nice beaches, the cost to enter is 40,000 COP per person and it has a show with dolphins which I do not recommend for children since they are a bit aggressive. This other option is diving with the fish which is much more fun, my children loved it and it costs 50,000 COP per person.

They get points for saving my Baru trip. 40.000 Colombian pesos to get in. Have to catch a boat ride in and out. The aqarium is on an island. Birds, fish, sharks, turtles & more. They do shows and hands-on activities.

This is a really nice family-friendly place to visit. It is very clean, and workers appear friendly and knowledgeable. The hardest part of this trip was not knowing Spanish and being able to understand the presentation completely or understanding how to request my needs to go snorkeling or the experience with the dolphins. Otherwise, 5 stsrs!!!!

Highly recommend this if you’re not in the mood to go snorkeling then this is another good option too. You can dance/play with the dolphins but for an additional fee, although it’s definitely worth it. Very nice and family friendly.

Wonderful aquarium. Small and quaint, and the staff seem to work very well with the animals!

Was the most important moment of my trip, everything was amazing. It is something unforgettable. Just a suggestion: Have someone taking pictures, I was on a solo trip. I could pay whatever they charge to have registered this moment 🥰

Little aquarium in the middle of the Islas del Rosario with very accesible prices: adults COP 30.000 (less than USD 8) and kids COP 25.000 (USD 6.5) each. Human-made pools in the middle of the ocean house sea turtles, lemon and nurse sharks, dolphins, and a few other fish. There is a guided tour (for free) that lasts about 30-40 min. It is a fun short activity to do with (or without) kids. We did not like that they allow people to swim and take pictures with the dolphins.

Beautiful place to visit. They have nicely setup sanctuarry for a different kind of fish and birds.

If you enjoy sealife and animals, don't miss this. You willnhave some great fotos and great memories. Note It is not a large place however, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. And at 40,000 cop which is about $8.50 us it is a great value. Enjoy!

Nice place to discover different kinds of fish. Dolphins show is very nice and you can swim with them.

Absolutely awesome! The guides on the boat didn't really recommend this place but I'm so glad I went. Its fantastic! Adults pay $30'000 and children pay $25'000 and its not bad for a live dolphin and sharks show. You can take a picture with Dolphins for $50'000. Well worth it Don't forget to pay for the dolphin picture ticket at the ticket office before you get in.

A cross between an aquarium and Sea World, on a much smaller scale.

It is a nice experience, the place is neat and clean, the shows are animated and funny. The animals seem to be in good shape and healthy. The logistics to get there are quite complicated or expensive. There is only one deck for the boats and is crowed.

🫤 Secreto organised a private transfer for us off the island back to Cartagena but we were completely ripped off.
