Hands down the best restaurant in the area. Clean facilities, great atmosphere, friendly staff, family friendly (we are a group of 7 and there were plenty of space to spare), and surprisingly great price! Will definitely repeat.

Good food, good service, nice place. I feel I need to share this experience. When expectations align with reality there is no frustration. Let's set the right expectations. No matter what you've read about this place, it's Columbia! So as for Columbia, great spot. I ordered the baby back ribs. These are not baby back pork ribs. They are like giant Chinese spare ribs. Now that you know that, imagine giant spare ribs slow cooked smothered in BBQ sauce. That's what this is. Absolutely delicious, but not baby back ribs. With the right expectations, you'll have a great experience here. The side of steamed vegetables is straight out of a bag of frozen vegetables. Again, not bad, but set the right expectations. Poor to nill wine selection is my last gripe. I still have this place 4 stars and that's what it is with the right expectations. Enjoy! 50/50 chance I'll be back. The steak review were really great so I might be back to try a steak and if it changes my opinion, I'll update this review.

Delicious dinner, the specialty is meat, but even the seafood dishes were much better than in other restaurants. Great ambiance with live music and excellent service. Totally recommended

The meat is exquisite, fresh and perfect! the meat is soft and yet the flavor; the seasoning is a salty addictive roasted flavor yet areas were bolder in taste and soft in chew. Fat of the meat was alluring and I was succumbed to it's juicy taste and extravagant texture. Myself, being picky for steak, I find this place as one of the best steakhouse in Cartagena, Colombia.

We were a little nervous about walking in, but it was absolutely worth it! Perfect meal, beautiful environment, and great service. The cream cheese truffle orzo was out of this world, the steak was tender and cooked to perfection, and the wine was a beautiful Chilean merlot that had a very light finish. 10 out of 5 stars!! Highly recommend for a wonderful dinner.

The Baby back ribs are really good, the filet mignon was a little tough. We like the service, very professional. They have English menu. Prices are reasonable. We enjoyed our dinner here. We will be back and try something else. We recommend this restaurant if your in Cartagena.

This is best restaurant in Cartagena. You will not find better food anywhere. The steak, the ox tail, the tongue all cooked with love like from mama's kitchen. It is amazing!!!!

This is an overall 4.5! I stopped in this restaurant because the lady outside was so inviting. It was a quiet restaurant in the walled city but away from the center. It is known to be a steakhouse. It went for a quick lunch, so I wanted to grab something lighter than a steak. My server was very pleasant I had the sliders (chicken, beef, and shrimp). They were ok. I didn't dislike them. The ceviche was good and refreshing. I really like the natural lemonade. They were out of the dessert I wanted and settled for the flan.

The meat was very tender and good flavors. I thought wine was very expensive and not to my taste, live music was nice but played too loud to hear each other

I’m sad to deliver this review cause it should be a perfect 5 stars based on the food. We tried multiple cuts of meat and they were all delicious. Cooked to the right temperature. The mash potato was fantastic. The cocktails were also spot on. The negative were customer service and details to the experience. Customer service could improve. Plates were removed without asking, even though we weren’t done. They started cleaning the tables while we were still finishing our conversations. We were just done with our food and we were pretty much getting kicked out indirectly. For the details, they are missing little things that would make this restaurant more upscale. The salt shaker is the one you buy in the store. The wrong plates were used to served food.

This is the only place we have been to that has actually asked if we would want to pay the added tip! Not only was the food good, we went for lunch, but was nice to sit back, relax, enjoy an early morning cocktail while eating well prepared food. Everything was great even though they are on a side street away from a touristy area. I would recommend this to anyone who is the the area.

Great service and very attentive to our party of eight. The house punch drink was very good, but unfortunately, they could not get the steak right.

Food here is delicious, steak cooked to perfection and each side dish more tasty than the last. It has a posh feel (a little pricey and portions are small) but if you are looking for quality food and extremely friendly/professional staff then this is the place.

This place has a dimly lit cozy atmosphere with live music. Everyone working here was very friendly and attentive. The steak could have been more tender, but the flavor was delicious.

Wonderful experience here at Pepe Anca. The steaks were generously portioned and VERY affordable and cooked to the perfect temperatures. Our drinks were made very well and the service we received was outstanding. The environment is great for a intimate dinner or a large group of people.

Amazing dinner experience! I was craving steak and my boyfriend and I happened upon this place. The filet was DELICIOUS- and huge!!! Perfectly cooked and the biggest filet I’ve ever gotten. I felt bad because I couldn’t eat the vegetables and potatoes it came with because I was so full but they were cooked to perfection as well! The service was amazing and everyone was so kind to me, even though I don’t speak any Spanish. The owner even came by to check on us and showed us this INCREDIBLE upstairs terrace where we can rent out for my boyfriends birthday that has incredible views of the city! We’re flying out before his birthday (we’re on a birthday vacation) but I wish we knew about it before we planned our trip! Definitely would have been a great place to host friends. If you’re in Cartagena you NEED to stop by this place!

The main dish... Steak looked ok but not good at all. Sadly the steak was not cooked as Argentinian style and meat was super chewy and has no flavor. No wonder this place is not busy. I was alone for a while and just 3 more people came in at prime dinner time. I wish they can upgrade the quality soon.
