We had a 6 am flight ✈️ and I was nicely surprised to see coffee places open before 5 am. At Black coffee you can get almond milk latte! ☕️ the layout is nice and open. Impossible to get lost! All the doors are right in front of you. Other stores opens up at 6 am. Market place has a larger variety of souvenirs and is almost doble the price as Antojos.

Small and easy airport to navigate. Check in was quick and easy. However, once you are through security there are a very limited range of shops/gift shops. The main gift was ridiculously expensive! And only one small cafe/bar for drinks. No hot food options in departures.

I did expect the airport in Cartagena to have a little more room and availability than the smaller airports and to an extent it does. There is a place inside security where you can buy pharmacy items, do some souvenir or luxury shopping and a very limited choice of food options including Subway. There is a place to order coffee, but it wasn’t open at 8:15am so I went with the only backup option and ordered a button pressed coffee. Check in was simple and pleasant, there are a few security lines able to pass through comfortably and toilets are on the ground floor which is much better than Medellin in that respect. There is additional seating on level 2 if you wish to have more privacy away from the crowd and there are power point by the food court.

A nice little airport that does its work of reception of tourists. Not much to say about this airport. It has different options of stores to buy rum, beer, bags, souvenirs, and other snacks. Not much of a big airport but it’s not even updated for the quantity of people that visit Cartagena and the Ciudad Amurallada, and the islands. It is clean and there’s not much people so it is not an inconvenience talking about the crowds. An easy airport for the wheelchairs.

It’s a small airport, which is nice in terms of ease of check in and making it through security and customs. Food options are pretty limited, but there are two places to grab a snack or sandwich (both not expensive). There is a “Duty Free Americas” with pretty outrageous prices on booze and chocolate, as well as a small souvenir shop with the same.

Nice airport. You can feel the breeze immediately when you exit the airplane. They use stairs. It is a plus for me

Fairly proficient and had zero problems getting through security and into my flight. Was happy to find that even at 5:00am, there were a few food choices. I'll never be back because Cartagena is a god-forsaken hell hole but good small airport nonetheless.

Small and easy airport to navigate. Check in was quick and easy. However, once you are through security there are a very limited range of shops/gift shops. Don’t expect much from this airport, it’s very hot and can be cramped at certain times of day …. Not the greatest place with a delay not much choice of shops.

Such a BAD experience. This is the international part of the airport ( international arrival/departure ) and LITERALLY none of the staff speaks English. The lady from customer service( whos ONLY job is to help us) does not speak English and seemed intensely bothered by us , still ending up not helping. The security for the international section does not speak English!NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH AT THE INTERNATIONAL PART OF THE AIRPORT. They make us wait for their break but provide no chairs, benches or any type of sitting. Horrible customer service and set up for this INTERNATIONAL airport..

What an experience to land here and get off the plane with stairs. It was raining when I arrived and all the employees were extremely nice to hold up umbrella's. The airport is small but that can have it's advantages. The immigration line was extremely slow and took over an hour to get through. Looking forward to this beautiful city!

Wait is over 3 hours after landing and then airport workers offer you to cut the line if you pay them, it seams almost they want lines to be this long so then they can make money.I traveled all over the world and this is the only airport I had to wait over 3 hours and i am not even close to passport control it will be probably another hour

The airport security is terrible! I saw them telling people the bags they had were to big to fit through the screen yet they were the same size as other ones going through. So many people upset because of this. I was fine not about 10 people had to go back. This is just wrong on so many levels feel like it's so kind of scam. It is a private company doing the security as well not sure if they get a kick back but it made me mad and will not be flying out of here again.

Getting threw security is pretty fast for the size of the airport and volume of people that come thru

Only a small airport. Main entrance gets busy with taxis and people trying to drop off/pick up, as soon as you step outside you're pretty much on the main road. The ques for the check-in desks could be managed better. Once you go through security in the national departures there is a seating area with a couple of shops, food places and gates all in the same place - again as it's only small there is a limited space.

Not the best one out there, but does the job. Quite small, the security check was relatively quick and all domestic flights were in the same hall. No lounges for domestic flights and didn't find the coffee shops, food stands etc. very attractive. Announcements done through broken speakers which nearly broke the ears. The greeny, jungle-like gate entrances were pretty cool though.

Fast airport. Their lounge had good food. Took maybe 10-15 min to get thru gate around 12-1pm in afternoon.

It's not a good airport but not the worst in my experience. Domestic terminal is very small and crowded. There are not enough seating nor seating area. People are forced to sit on the floor. The boarding gates are small and close to each other which is typical for the airport that doesn't have a jet bridge. While we were there, we saw construction in the airport. We hope this airport gets some improvements. Cartagena is a nice city, making this airport the first impression for tourist.

Small Airport, very secure, this is not an international Airport, so don't expect to have many stores, just the essentials. Cartagena is beautiful, and it felt very secure anywhere we went with the family. We walked a lot so take good shoes. Great atmosphere and very friendly. Baru is a paradise. Stop be !!

There are no signs indicating national and international flights, you need to ask the staff all the time other wise it is a big and nice airport

Nice layout and fairly clean for the age of the facility. Can't blame them; it's the only airport in the area. Costumer service is polite and fairly efficient, but all other processes are lacking in efficiency. Customs, security, covid testing, etc. Otherwise, the people are wonderful.

It was quite a messy experience, specially at counters, people all around, not the best. Few eating options available after customs. Also despite been a busy airport there aren't arms, it is needed to walk on the landing track to get to the airplanes (quite inconvenient under the sunny Cartagena)

    1. Viva, and perhaps others charge you $30 USD to check in in person, make sure you pay the additional when booking to be able to check in online. 2. Not nearly enough seats to be able to sit down, if you get some with your travelling partner(s) make sure it’s near the boarding gates at the back
