The food is not bad and service is super friendly but it cannot make up for over an hour waiting time for a relatively simple breakfast. Yes, first of January is a very busy day, but if you are not prepared for it, then better remove some tables to a quantity you can handle! I have seen customers walk out after a long wait and an old couple waiting for their bill for more than 15 minutes…

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! We waited 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order. She ignored us while clearing tables, taking orders from other tables and folding napkins. Then, we waited 15 more minutes for 2 waters and a Frappuccino (but she brought the wrong coffee: a Cappuccino). Our breakfast finally came 1 hour after we arrived. The French toast was impressive looking, but was very greasy and for the price, should’ve had maple syrup, not corn syrup. What should have been a pleasant breakfast was a horrid experience from beginning to end.

The pane au Chocolat and the almond pastries were delicious. The pane was flaky with smooth chocolate throughout. The almond pastry had almond paste with almond slivers - moist, sweet and filling. The espresso cafe was string and hot. We took our food to go but they did have table service. Good value for a morning treat.

We had the best time at Brioche! Yil took care of us and was the nicest! She took care of 8 of us and was very patient with our large order. The food was delicious and fresh. We had a birthday in the group and the staff was nice enough to add a candle to a pastry so we could sing. Thank you for the hospitality!

I only giving one start because I can’t give any less. Let’s just start by saying this has to be the restaurant with the worst customer service in all Cartagena. We waited 30 minutes to get our orders taken, 45 minutes for a cappuccino, almost two hours for some mediocre avocado toast and a French toast with literally one slice of a strawberry. The waitress desperately need customer service training. (Poor very poor customer service). Also same waitress serves your food and touch money at the register without washing or sanitize her hands. My utensils were dirty. It was just a bad experience in general. I do not recommend this place, not worth your energy, money and time. Only place I had a bad cuisine experience in this beautiful city. Trust me, don’t do it. Don’t be fooled by the reviews, I’m 100% they aren’t from real customers.

Veggie Burguer with fries: One of the few and best in the área, in relation amount/price/taste: It's a huge burguer, it's pretty good also as a share dish, the taste its really soft not full of any sauce, the lentil meat is not juicy not salty, still a good veggie taste and really crunch outside, regarding the fries, they were ok, I highly recommend to "La Brioche" improve this recipe, it has a lot of potential. I expect something taassty for that price to be honest, although many vegs will love It this way. The service was impeccable and fast, considering that the place was semi-empty.

Great experience and the service was top notch! We all got different dishes to try and they all tasted great! Their pastries are some of the best around. We loved our server Yiljana, she was super friendly and patient with our big group. Highly recommend.

Good Colombian coffee with delicious, foamy almond milk. Haven't had a meal there yet but they serve classic food like every other place. Cafe latte was $14500 ($10000 + $4500 added almond milk). Prices are in line with what most cafes charge in the center. In the rest of Colombia, you generally pay an extra of $2000/2500 for almond milk. Lots of small tables and sockets make this cafe a good digital nomad/ working location. Cafe Latte was a bit too strong for my taste but I got some more milk.

Food was awesome, freshly made and efficient service from our waitress Delma I had the omelette St.Tropez and juice made of maracuyá. Highly recommended if you’re in town.

My favorite brunch place in Cartagena ! I've been there 3 times already and i will come back for sure. The food is delicious (the eggs Benedicts are amazing), the service is great (100% women 💪), the place is cosy. I highly recommend ! 🥰

Jani and Ines are indeed wonderful hostesses, and the setting is very comfortable with a relaxing vibe. The music is modern and usually trance, so you can sit back and enjoy tunes while you savor a deliciously prepared meal.

Good experience at Brioche, had the omelett with fried yuca which is delicious. The portion was quite big and filling for me. Nice servers (Janires) and good ventilation (AC and fans) so it was not too cold and not too warm. Thanks!

Probably the best brunch restaurant you’ll find inside the Walled City. They have an extensive menu of breakfast and lunch, from Colombian to American choices. Jani was our hostess and she absolutely took care of us, aside from being very charismatic, she also offered the chef’s recommendations. Definitely recommend this place, in fact, i’m coming back tomorrow :)

Yiljana was great! She was very attentive and nice. The food here is amazing. I'm here on vacation and this is the only place I came to for breakfast.

This was my favorite place to breakfast in Cartagena ❤️ They open very early which was perfect for us because we had an early excursion booked. The place is really nice, loved the decor and the paintings in the wall. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Also, our server was very kind and friendly. I ordered an almond croissant to-go and it was so good!!! I was sad that I ordered just one 🤭

Incredible spot to enjoy fresh pastries and brunch for a reasonable price in a homey setting. Pastries are incredible and on par with any good French bakery. They have classic brunch offerings like decadent pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious and service was friendly and quick.

We came here for brunch. Although there was a queue already waiting we got a table quickly. They offer a big selection of great food, healthy options as well. My husband said it was the best omelette of his life 😅 The staff is friendly and very quick. The ambiente we found relaxed, cool laid back background music, not too loud. They use a combination of air condition and ventilators inside that makes the place very comfortable! Not too cold, not too hot. 100% recommendable!

I’ve dined at various restaurants during my stay here. This is the first unorganized restaurant I’ve visited. Customer service is very poor. Asked to order food 3 times while workers walked around doing other duties. Folding napkins, text on phones and I guess everything but take an order. There was two customer that left while I watch the workers ignore our table. And even took others orders who came in well after us. Great place to come if you’re not hungry

The food was good, but similar to a traditional brunch in the states. I enjoyed the tomato-garlic spread on the toast, the omelet was spiced well, and I appreciate a good crispy piece of bacon.

Visited Cartagena for the first time and were staying just up the street. This place is so good we've come every day we've been here for breakfast. The croissants ate the best I have tried (outside of France) and the cappuccinos and lemonade natural to die for. Love this place and will miss coming once we leave.

Delicious food! Went there twice. Had the veggie burger (could’ve used a little salt!) and the St Tropez eggs (everything on this dish was amazing).

Started making this our breakfast spot when we come into town. Everything we have gotten from here has been fantastic and filling. There can be a wait if its busy. Nothing out of the norm for a sit down meal in Cartagena.

Great food, very poor customer service. They took about 15 minutes to even come to the table. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with the amount of customers. Maybe a few extra hands would make the experience better. I will give credit where credit is due, the food was very delicious. After the food came out my wife waited another 20 minutes for some butter and jelly for her toast. Not a returning customer.

Amazing croissant variations! Especially the ham & cheese croissant was amazing! Great breakfast food. In June 2022 the website mentioned having to reserve a table but when we called they said they operated on a first come first serve basis. We got lucky and did not even have to wait when showing up for a late breakfast at 11 AM.

This is just a classic brunch place. Great options, quality food & excellent service. It's really a place to eat a slow, relaxed brunch. There are so many options that I don't like to repeat one but I was here 3 times

😠 I’m disappointed in the service we have been having at crepes and waffles. Extremely slow, rude waitresses, they do not give you attention- plus there was a green worm in our food. Did not take it off our bill

👍 If the servers were only helpful and friendly I would give this restaurant five stars. The servers seem to have an attitude and an air of snootiness. Not acceptable. The food is well presented but it does take a while to get it. My Poblano crepe was quite acceptable. The mushroom crepe was super yum...
