It is the square that is outside the tower, that is, in front. A nice place for a photo. Inescapable.

Built in 1601, the square has the clock tower, it is the main entrance to the walled city. It currently has 3 access doors, two of which initially functioned as a weapons room and chapel. It has a monument in honor of Pedro Heredia, the Spanish conqueror who founded Cartagena.

The Plaza De La Paz is on the outskirts of the Clock Tower, outside the walled city, in front is the sea, the Bay of Las Animas, and on one side a park, from here you can enter the walled city, it is the Part where when you enter you are close to the museums, it has a monument to Pedro de Heredia, a Spanish conqueror who founded the city of Cartagena.

Beautiful! Beware of harassment from sellers, which is extensive. At night it's peaceful to walk, as in the entire Tourist Zone, but here it's good to be careful. When we passed by, there was a guy offering drugs (from light to hard)

Old city of Cartajena it's a must place to visit. There are a lot of merchants with nice things to buy. And the music is old Colombian so it's nice to run away from all the clubs
