Dolce E Salato is THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Cartagena! I am Greek with Italian from my Father’s side. I LOVE good quality Italian food. I have searched all over Cartagena for good Pizza… Every pizza I eat in Cartagena is TERRIBLE… I also search all Cartagena for good Italian food. Every restaurant has been average or not very good. DiSilvio is average quality, masomenos. BUT, I have eaten here at Dolce E Salato, and IT IS EXCELLENT!!! They have the BEST Pizza and the BEST Osso Bucco, Risotto, and other great ITALIAN FOOD!! This is the best, REAL AUTHENTIC Italian Food in all of Cartagena! Mario and his family have an excellent restaurant! God Bless You! I love this place!! Thank you!!

Delicious food and portions are more than enough, we ordered the spaghetti marinara, spaghetti a la campesina and they were on point. The only reason I don't leave 5 stars is due to the price which I encountered a little bit high though I will still totally recommend you to come and eat here

Ordered meat balls and tomato sauce. Sauce was a bit too watery and pasta was too al dente, both could’ve had a bit more time on the fire to finish thick’n sauce and pasta 🍝. Would I eat here again? Probably yes, I’d give then another try.

The food is great but the waitress gave the worse service. They forget about you and never bring what you order. They offer food they don't even have available. Again the food, in case you get any, is so tasty but service is awful.

Probably one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in Cartagena. Service was great! Started off with some well buttered and herbed bread. I ordered the spaghetti with Marinara meat sauce which was delicious and so plentiful that I had lots to take home after eating my fill.

Worst Tiramisu I have ever had. The description says mascarpone but it does not taste as such. It looks like a defrosted cake full of sugar. Extremely sweet and not worth the calories. Please stay away from this dessert.

Somewhat disappointing experience. Our waitress was very nice, but the prices are relatively high for what you get. I ordered the ravioli and they only gave me eight raviolis, so I left hungry. The food itself was also underwhelming. The sauce was nice, but their pasta is not very fresh, and the ravioli fillings were more spinach than cheese. I have found restaurants in the area that serve homemade pasta for the same prices. I would recommend trying other Italian restaurants in the area.

Best Italian restaurant in Bocagrande. Mario, owner and chef, is in the kitchen himself. The food portions are a bit small and the prices are too high for Colombian standards.

Nice and homey italian food. A wonderfull carpaccio and a great melanzane alla parmegiana. I go there and lunch from work at least once a week.

Small and neat Italian coffee shop. Lemon pie was just perfect. Lemon tart was pleasantly sour. Pie wasn’t too sweet. It was fresh. Hit the right spot with cappuccino in the middle of hot day.

This place is SO good! Stumbled upon it on accident while wandering around Cartagena and I’m so glad we did! The owner, Tony, is so helpful and kind and the food is delicious! Will definitely come back.
