Zistaki is my go-to for mediterranean food every time I visit Cartegena. It really does taste like homemade food from my grandma. Can't recommend it enough! They have a nice terrace to grab a beer/coffee while you wait. I've done takeout when tables are not available, and dine in a few times. Can't recommend it enough!

Hands down the best Mediterranean food I have ever eaten! This is a family-owned business; their portions are great (we were full, with leftovers to take home!) and they accommodated all our dietary restrictions (non-tap ice water, veganism, etc.). The people are incredible, and the food (and dessert) was absolutely delicious. 11/10 recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I was talking to a friend and he told me I needed to experience Mediterranean food in Cartagena. We found Zistaki through a google search. It’s a cute little spot and feels super down to earth and local. I had the Gyro Chicken Platter and my friend the Chicken Mini Bowl. I think I liked his mini bowl slightly better but my food was good. Didn’t realize how much I like rice with my food. 😂😂😂 FYI- they don’t take American Express or Diners credit cards

We went here after reading reviews on how amazing the food is, so glad we found this little gem. We ordered a platter with different items on it and each one of the items had a delicious and unique flavor. Staff was super friendly as well.

Highly recommend this lovely spot! Authentic in style and cuisine. Pleasant and professional staff. The freshest food! I had the mini Pollo and it was more than I could eat, but every bite was a delight. Perfect meal before heading to the airport! Do yourself a favor and try it.

This is hands down the most incredible middle eastern food I've ever had!!! The recipes are family recipes handed down for over four generations! The taste is incredibly flavorful, authentic, and fresh. We are vegetarians on vacation and will definitely be back. Thank you for the hospitality and amazing food! This is easily the best middle eastern food in Cartagena, must try this gem!

Incredibly good food! We had the falafel bowl and a falafel gyro. There was so much flavor, we absolutely loved it and will be back to try other things. The waitstaff was also very helpful and knowledgeable in recommendations when they noticed we were vegetarian. It's a very cute and clean restaurant. I can't recommend this place enough! *Chef's kiss*

This restaurant is a hidden gem! All the food was delicious! Couldn’t take a photo because we were hungry and finish everything super fast! But I highly recommend this place if you want authentic, affordable and home made Arab and Mediterranean food!

Absolutely some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. Super clean! Super safe! We ordered one of the sampler plates. It was sufficient along with two empanadas for two people to eat, and have a little left over.

Loved our lunch at this tiny family run restaurant. We ordered the Gyro Carne plate and the meat was well seasoned and tender. Hummus, salad and fries on the plate were all tasty. Also ordered the Tabouli salad and stuffed grape leaves. Plus some dessert to go.

Authentic dishes and very friendly service. Falafel was perfectly seasoned and variety of homemade sauces were really good. This is a must visit if you’re in the area, or not quick taxi from the walled city.

Oh. My gosh. So good. Zistaki has some of the best food we've found in Colombia. Lots of flavor, healthy, friendly, and helpful staff. Both of the ladies working tonight spoke quite good English if you need as well. I very much recommend this place for anyone looking for good, fresh food in Cartagena.

most likely the best food if not top 2 in cartagena! the food has amazing texture, taste and seasoning. i could not believe i was eating this food in cartagena. the reason for my 4 star is due to the fact i was going to the beach and requested utensils and wasn’t provided any utensils. sorry not sorry, But the food is the best! amazing appetizers! you just can’t go wrong with it. also please note they’re not open on monday’s.

The best restaurant I've eaten at in Cartagena. And hands down the best arabic food I've ever had. It was an unexpected experience and I'm glad that I happened to walk past. The service was great, they spoke English (which was a helpful bonus), and they have many vegetarian options to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely return.
