I popped in this am for a coffee to go. It was right at opening at 7 am. The Barista Adam who was so passionate about coffee and his home Costa Rica took the time to make me a French Press while explaining where the coffee was from, using a scale, letting it rest and the bean type. He explained all the awards that brand of coffee has won too. He asked me what kind of coffee I wanted and we had a great convo during the process. Awesome way to start the day and it’s rare these days to find someone who loves their job and the simple things so passionately. One of the best baristas I ever met anywhere in the world. And the coffee is Perfecto!

Disfrutamos la visita, nos atendieron super bien, la barista fue muy amable.. El brownie con chocolate blanco para el mes de febrero fue nuestro favorito. El pie de frutos rojos tenía un lustre un poco pegajoso para mí gusto, parecía tener gelatina y no nos encantó, pero no estaba feo, el pie de manzana estaba un poco alto en especies. El café estaba muy rico disfrutamos la experiencia de que lo prepararán en chemex. Tendremos que volver a probar el resto del menú.

Michael was a great help as we were still learning how to say things in Spanish and was very understanding. The food was amazing and the coffee was absolutely fire. I would totally recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. 10/10

Michael our server was amazing! We are practicing Spanish and he was very patient an helpful! The food was brilliant and delicious. I ordered the French press coffee, French toast with bacon an fried eggs. The French toast was a large serving so be prepared for a to go box and for the best flavor of your life.

I came here two days in a row, I love it! I've been in Costa Rica for over a month now and this has to be one of my favorite cafes I've visited in this area so far. The food is delicious, the staff is welcoming, the wifi is fast, and there's plenty of seating!

Great coffee, with many methods to choose from. Had a Geisha on Steam Syphon that was amazing. Barista gave very personalized service taking time to explain the method and coffee with great detail and exchanging ideas and tips on how to best use the syphon. The food was also very good.

Absolutely love this place. The best coffee in Costa Rica 🇨🇷, served in various methods including local and european/italian style. Tasty cakes, salads and other meals for dinner. Food was excellent! Appreciated the clear area for parking. No pics because we are too quickly, but would recommend the breakfast dish with the gallo pinto!

Wonderful coffee, amazing food! The cinnamon roll was incredible, so was the hummus and French fries. They have fast Wi-Fi which was perfect for working remote. Couldn’t recommend Cafe a La Moda enough! ☕️

One of the best French toast I had in Costa Rica and their Croque Madame sandwich was a real taste too. The service is very proffessional but could be a bit faster ‘cause I finished my coffee before the food came. But I still highly recommend this place.

We ordered the three choice omelette, French toast and double dip burger! Everything was great! The speciality coffee was great as well. Must place to visit in Costa Rica! Also, they have chess and uno at the tables! Nice game to play while you wait on your food!

Deliciosa comida y muy buen ambiente. El servicio estuvo muy bueno. Mientras esperabamos la comida teníamos un juego de mesa para entre tenernos.. excelente!

Very cozy, semi hidden little cafe on the Rohrmoser blvd, with a nice relaxing ambiance, ordered the full breakfast, nice presentation, yummy food, excellent croissant, speed service, really recommend it to sit down and avoid the strenuous life from the outer world, and even with a mini park outside!

Best cappuccino I had in Costa Rica. The pie de pecanas with vanilla ice cream was excellent! Very relaxed vibe on a rainy Saturday. Diana was very kind and attentive in her service service.
