We had a great time exploring wild life , volcano and beach. Our vacation was planned by Diego at Green World Adventure . He planned all activities well and based on our interest. All transfers were on time. We had a little problem with one of the hotels but Diego handled everything very quickly and efficiently . I have nothing but to say good thing about their service .

Alberto and the Team at Green World Adventures couldn't have done better! I had an amazing vacation, and it couldn't have been easier to setup. From finding the perfect activities to hotel and everything in between Green World knocked it out of the park! Overall, I think I saved money due to the pricing insights or partner pricing Green World was able to secure. Plus I had zero issues of any kind on my trip. Beyond that every Green World rep I interacted with was exceptionally jovial and helpful. From the driver to Alberto who planned my trip, I couldn't have asked for more. Flawlessly organized 8 days with flexibility and a personal touch. From the choice of hotels, venues, tours and the ease with which everything fell into place, It’s probably the best organized holiday I’ve been on. Everything from the airport pick up and drop, the waterfalls, culture tours, ziplines, beaches and nature tours had knowledgeable and courteous guides who made the trip memorable. The truly do justice to the richness of experience that Costa Rica offers.

GWA worked with me to personalise one of their trips to Costa Rica, giving us more time at each venue and maximising our opportunity for wildlife viewing. I worked with Dennis, who was incredibly patient as I kept changing our itinerary! They booked all the transfers between places and brilliant tours too. The tour companies they used were very efficient and knowledgeable and all went perfect. It was nice to use a local company and also one that follows sustainability in CR. They gave us water bottles as plastic ones are not encouraged. We travelled on our own but were supported throughout by Dennis or one of his team by What’s App. We saw so much and were delighted with all the different accommodations and guides GWA booked. I can’t thank them enough for booking our wonderful 3 weeks in beautiful Costa Rica and would recommend them to anyone. Pura Vida!❤️

We had an adventurous vacation exploring waterfalls, river rapids, volcanoes, a cloud forest, a beach and island in ONE 9 day trip-all planned by Diego and Green World Adventures! They were so informative and professional. They handled every detail. All tours, activities, pickups, went seamlessly. We highly recommend Green World Adventures. Absolutely Amazing!

We had a great experience with Green World Adventures and our Tailor-made tour set up by Jean-Carlo. He was very attentive to our requests and suggested different excursions and timing throughout the trip. Our drivers always arrived early & were personable. My best advice is to give a clear picture of what you want your trip to beautiful Costa Rica to be like. For example, what time you prefer pick ups & excursions, the time & distance between locations and excursions, the group size, what meals are included, and if there is built-in downtime. We loved La Paz Waterfalls & Gardens, La Fortuna Volcano area & waterfall. Next time we would stay at a hot spring resort & take the boat across Lake Arenal! We loved the Santa Elena area & Monteverde Cloud Forest including the Night Walk, Hanging Bridges, and Sky Trek. Last, the beach & ocean at Tamarindo was fun for tide pooling, snorkeling, & swimming with great food, a bit of tourist shopping, and ability to book other area excursions, if desired. Finally, there are two airports. We chose to do a one-way so that we could see different parts of CR. Liberia airport is small but modern with easy check in and clean, cool concourses. Go with GWA & Jean Carlo!

Green World Adventures was excellent in culminating such an adventurous itinerary that fit our wants! My family had the best vacation, and we owe it to GWA. Our guides and drivers were professional, timely, fun and so personable. Within 9 days, we got to experience much of Costa Rica effectively and care-free. From spotting sloths, exotic birds, poisonous snakes, monkeys, and iguanas to hiking, swinging on ropes and relaxing in hot springs, we felt we did it all! GWA is awesome! They are professional, attentive, and friendly. I filled out the form on the GWA website and received a reply after one day. We worked with Jean to develop a tailored 8-day itinerary in three places in Costa Rica. Jean provided professional advice on where to visit and what activities to do. GWA booked everything for us, including the hotel, transportation among cities, and tours. While we were in Costa Rica, Jean and Sofia were super responsive on WhatsApp to answer our questions and communicate with the tour providers. We are so glad we booked with GWA and had such a great time in Costa Rica. Highly recommend!!!!

I took a trip to Costa Rica with my 63 year old mother for 8 days. We chose to use GWA to curate the perfect experience for both of us and we were so impressed with how everything was handled. We had a custom itinerary made for us by Veronica and she was so easy to work with adjusting it for what we wanted to do. Everything on the trip flowed seamlessly and we were blown away with how professional, friendly, and knowledgeable all of our guides were. Additionally, it was so nice to know that GWA does their research on the sustainability of the tours they use so we can rest easy knowing we were using tour operators that are doing their best to minimize their impact on the environment. Lastly, the 24/7 support offered by GWA was greatly appreciated. They are so attentive to your needs and quick to respond and support you in whatever way you need. Our tour was very active, perfectly executed! Any little issue or change we wished to make was handled with grace and promptness. This tour company was recommended by my nephew and I highly recommend them as well!

While most of the reviews for GWA have been a perfect 5 star, this review comes after some thought and careful consideration at the end of our 10 day trip to Costa Rica. First off, the positives: 1. A big shout out to the operations team who are very very prompt to answer to your questions while on the trip. Their WhatsApp number is a blessing especially when you’re looking for help or clarifications in your transit or planned activities. 2. Most of the accommodations that the team put together were decent and matched one’s budget and priorities of the traveller. A big kudos to selecting Mawamba Lodge (at Tortuguero) and Playa Espadilla (at Manuel Antonio) as both of them were highlights of our trip 3. Dennis and the sales team were easy to work with and very responsive to the questions and clarifications that I had during the initial reservation process (we used KimKim). 4. They gifted us with travel water bottles on our first day which we felt was a really nice gesture and felt welcomed! Now to the areas of improvement that cost them the remaining two stars One of the biggest value that we look for in a tour operator especially abroad, is in their ability to provide options for things to see and do at various places. We felt that this was lacking with the team. Again this was in hindsight after landing at various locations. As a foreign traveler, one wouldn’t know of the options available out there and that’s where a tour operator needs to step in and let us know what’s out there. Specifically we felt that our La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio trips were very loosely planned. We had to find out and then ask for additional activities to be added after we landed. While this was alright in some locations, we missed the bus at other locations in terms of availability since we were traveling in the high season. While I’ve shared this feedback with the team directly, my review here is only to say to the other travellers to engage in more conversations with the GWA team in advance before finalizing their itinerary. Having said that, we leave Costa Rica with a smile on our face. We just wished we left with a much larger grin! Good job GWA and hope to see others benefit from some of the suggested improvements. Green World Adventures organization of my Costa Rica trip was amazing, professional and quite stress-free for me which is I why I decided to have a tour company make all the arrangements on my behalf. Their team - shoutout to Veronica and Dennis - was able to come up with a trip and activities that fit my budget and having experienced one of the most memorable trips of my life, I can say that their prices are quite accommodating. I found Green World Adventures on trip advisor and I contacted them and they were very quick to reply with a week long trip itinerary that included white water rafting in Pacuare River, hiking the lava plains of the Arenal Volcano, enjoying the hot springs at a resort in La Fortuna, a boat ride across Lake Arenal, horse back riding, hanging bridges and ziplining in Monte Verde. They also organized all the transportation to and from the airport, hotels/lodgings and activities. For my budget, I mostly shared a van with other tourists which was fine by me since I was traveling solo; I got to meet some interesting people and make some connections for the trip. The pickups were punctual and it all worked like clockwork! I honestly cannot find anything to fault Green World Adventures with and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for stress-free trip planning but a remarkable trip.

Wow. This company hit the ball out of the park. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time, many thanks to Green World Adventures’ professionalism, attention to detail, genuine care for their clients, and ability to anticipate needs and what the travelers will want. We did an adventure tour that included transportation, lodging, activities, and most meals. Almost every day was a new adventure in a new place- it kept the trip so exciting. It was so helpful and calming to know we didn’t need to figure out transportation or drive on roads we may not have been comfortable with driving on (probably mostly me! Haha). The initial booking of the tour and communication with Dennis was very professional, which put us at ease. I was the main trip detail planner, so I was the one doing most of the communication prior to our trip. Dennis was AWESOME and very prompt and responsive. I knew we were in good hands! He also ensured me that once in Costa Rica, we would have 24/7 communication with GWA through WhatsApp, which really came in handy! We had a video chat prior to our arrival which helped clear up any questions or concerns and dot all the i’a and cross the t’s. It helps so much before leaving on a big international trip to know there’s a team on the other side who genuinely care and are passionate about making their clients trips amazing and memorable! We were met upon arrival with a nice welcome gift and printed out itinerary for our next week of adventure. We had created notes in our phone with digital copies of the itinerary, but honestly the print out was what I used every day! There were no issues with shuttles- they were always right on time. Accommodations were enjoyable and I felt safe in every location! I think our favorite excursions were white water rafting on the Pacuare River and the Superman zip line in Monteverde! So exhilarating. But honestly every day was a blessing and fun and relaxing or super adventurous! Seeing a great view of Arenal on our hike was a sweet birthday gift! 😊 We extended our trip prior to our arrival and already knew we would want to stay an extra week and continued on to Guanacaste. Even though the tour had commenced, Dennis and Johnny and Juvel were still responsive and checking in via WhatsApp and helped with some last minute shuttle bookings once we decided to say no thanks to getting a rental car. I was 100% confident trusting the team to help out with our future transfers, and it was all great. They worked probably more and longer than they should have to ensure our enjoyment in their beautiful country- but that is just some Pura Vida love right there! I’ve already told multiple people during travels about this company and several friends upon our return. Definitely will be trusting them with any future travel plans we have in Costa Rica in the future and recommending them to anyone who wants a well planned trip to Costa Rica and feel like they’re truly cared for! Stopped replying in the middle of planning the itinerary. Did they close the business down? Don't know but luckily no money changed hands. Update: so the it looks like the business still exists. Funny how they want me to email them again and not just reply to the emails they already have. I'll update this review again if I get a response to either of my previous emails.

CANADIAN REVIEW!! Eco Adventure Trip in Costa Rica (9 days & 8 nights) GREAT EXPERIENCE. 2 things that could have made itinerary better: 1) when in mount verde you'll get bored after ziplining. try to book something else during that time. there are some night tours available. 2) in samara we also got bored when we got there. if its still early enough in the day see if you can get your surf lesson that day, and coco will let you use a surf board the next day for free to get more time surfing. also try to plan a tour for one of the 2 evenings your there. be prepared to travel alot, you literally travel from one end of the country to the other. other advice: 1) travel light - its easier 2) usd is all you need, dont need local currency 3) it was very difficult to get a local sim card, see if gwa can set this up for you before you came, we got one needed to get hotels help as everything is in Spanish and the different packages are still confusion. 3) you dont need flip flops, just bring really got water shoes and hiking shoes. returning home pcr testing. we almost screwed ourselves over with this. start planning 72 hours before, the day you get to samara, should be 125 usd, just get it done through the hotel in samara. what could have been better: 1) gwa your water bottles suck and broke, please invest in some higher quality water bottles, we would have used them and kept them if they didn’t break and leak. 2) hotel in samara (giarda) was not the greatest, we had bugs in our bed. all other hotels were fantastic 3) dont expect much customer service. gwa sets up your packages, and your on your way, you dont really here much from them and they don’t check in with you, but if you have any concerns they are only a whatsapp message away.

Tremendous trip that exemplifies the term "PURA VIDA". As a transportation planner I was impressed with the schedule and precision in the operation. We had so much fun from white water rafting, hiking Arenal volcano, horseback riding, and zip lining (superman or supermomma is the way to go).

What a phenomenal trip GWA Adventures put together for my son and I. We had less than 3 weeks from the time we bought our tickets to the time we would land in CR for our first time. I have vacational control issues and typically love doing all the planning, but there was just no time. GWA was recommended to me and so I went for it..and I am so glad we did. Every detail was organized and planned out. We were greeted at the airport with a welcome bag full of goodies and a printed itinerary for our 9 days. I never realized how spread out all our adventures were so I was especially grateful we had all our transportation arranged with reliable, a/c vans with highly competent drivers. We just got to kick back and enjoy the ride and scenery. Every activity was top notch with incredible companies. The lodging was a bit basic, but it was just fine for my son and I. If I were with my husband, I might want a little upgraded lodging. Luis, our trip organizer, was great to work with and answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. The only thing I may have tried to change was our trip to the hot springs. I had thought they were “natural” springs, flowing from the river but it was at an establishment with pool-like spas. It was nice and we got a delicious dinner, but I was looking for a more rugged, earthy experience. I would have tried to exchange it for a trip to the hanging bridges or La Fortuna waterfall. I truly felt like GWA gave us the best Costa Rican experience with all the variety of locations..from downtown, to the raging rivers, to the lush green cloud forest, to the sandy beaches. It was just what I hoped it would be for my sons first international trip!! Thank you so much GWA for showing us what PURA VIDA is all about.
