My grandmother is a resident since November 2016 and we have been very happy with the care. We feel that she is thriving more in a couple months at Atria than she had been in the years before at home. Everyone that works there is so nice and my grandmother says that everyone knows her name. It has such a community-like feel. Whenever we visit any and all workers that we see smile and say hello. The food is excellent! That is something that is very important to my grandmother and my family. Everyone in Wellness is excellent. The Director of Sales, David was absolutely fantastic. He was so nice and answered all questions that we had(and trust me there were a lot). When we would call him with a question prior to my grandmother moving in, he would call us back within a day with the answer. He would even call and say that he did not know the answer, but he would look into it and get back to us. And he did. Now, with her living there, when we email him a question that we have, if it is not his department, he will forward the email to the appropriate person. The staff is so easy to get ahold of via email(Arielle[resident director], Matthew[Maintenance Coordinator], Kimberly[Nurse]).

Atria Park of Great Neck is a beautiful community living situation I have visited many times over several years as a guest artist and entertainer. I have been impressed by the renovations and seeing the variety of programs made available to the residents. The staff is friendly, respectful and caring. The facility offers various community spaces for family visits and activities so retired residents can socialize as well as enjoy their private rooms. As someone whose grandfather and family in turn faced the challenges of Alzheimer’s, I would feel good knowing a family member would be well cared for and looked after here. On my visits I would often think how blessed I would be to live into my maturity in the comforts of Atria Great Neck.

A family member has been very happily living at the Atria for several years. She is surrounded by a warm and caring staff. When I enter the building I am always greeted with a big smile and friendly hello from the person on duty at the desk. Sandy Hott, an office staff member, always has a hug and a smile for the residents. She is always available to help residents and their families in any way she can.

Atria Park of Great Neck is a wonderful and clean building. The staff is lovely and they really care about the residents. My grandmother's social worker Olivia is amazing and she has nothing but nice things to say about her. I recommend this assisted living, and if there were more stars to give I wouldn't hesitate to give it to them.

Atria Park of Great Neck has the most wonderful, loving and understanding staff. From the time my mother joined your Assisted Living facility until she was taken ill she enjoyed the happiest days of her life. She always felt wanted and loved. My mother resided there approximately 2 yrs. A whole new world opened up to her. She looked forward to delicious meals with friends and doing so many activities from daily exercises movie time, news and schmooze time and having her hair done. My mom lived to 101 years of age surrounded by terrific people, until the heavens took her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My parents have lived at the Atria Park in Great Neck for almost three years. The Atria staff members are caring and attentive. The wonderful nurses and other Wellness professionals know my parents well and keep on top of their health concerns. Prior to the pandemic, the outside entertainers who visited the Atria were excellent. The facility is beautiful and well kept, and has lovely public areas, including outdoor terraces and a bistro that has light refreshments available. The facility has been exceptionally well run during the pandemic. Coleen McAleavey, the Executive Director, has given the community frequent and thorough updates and has looked out for the well being of the residents and staff. The lockdowns necessitated by Covid-19 have been very difficult, but Dan Horbachevsky, Life Guidance Program Specialist, keeps residents engaged and has made sure we have frequent zoom calls, which have enabled our family to visit with my parents and see how they are doing. The zoom connection lifts all our spirits. Deborah and Verrome, the receptionists, are always extremely helpful when I call, and I know they genuinely care about my parents. Also, when the lockdown kept the family from celebrating with my parents on their wedding anniversary, Katie Levenson made sure to make the occasion special for them with lots of fanfare from the staff, balloons, a card signed by the community and a nice dinner. When the lockdown caused her granddaughter’s Confirmation to be virtual, Aisha Kingsberry, Director of Life Guidance, made sure that my mother was able to see this important event on Zoom in Aisha’s office, undisturbed. We are grateful to Colleen, Aisha, Dan, Katie, Deborah and Verrome and the rest of the staff for going out of their way for my parents and other residents so routinely, as well as for keeping everything running smoothly during such difficult times.

From our initial welcome & tour, we found the staff to be warm & helpful. Not only to our wife/mother, but to us. They are attentive & thorough—- always eager to help. They seem to really enjoy their interactions with the residents. And we hear the food is good! We feel we made a good decision. Susan Cohen & Alan Drattell

The staff is wonderful. We are always greeted at the entry with a smile and charming welcome by all of the security people. The main floor desk is always ready to help. The wellness staff always fulfills their duties with great diligence and kindness. The dining hall staff is always ready to please. Recreation is terrific and movies shown are selected with great care as is the people who come to speak on a variety of topics. The exercise classes keep our Dad in shape while he enjoys the fun involved.

The Atria Great Neck is home to a beloved member of our family. Mom is always shown kindness and affection there. Her apartment is spotless and warm. Mom loves her friends, enjoys games, films and meal times. She is grateful to be part of this wonderful, caring community. The caregivers, managers and staff work as a team tending to the residents with respect and dignity. We are especially thankful to Sandy Hott who is a gracious, upbeat and consistent presence. We are lucky our Mom calls Atria Great Neck her home.

I was an Engaged Life volunteer at the Atria for about three months, and I enjoyed every second I spent there! I was so impressed with the facility, the events, and the activities available to residents. It is clear that the staff members care so deeply about their residents, and they do everything possible to make sure the residents are well in every aspect. There is always something fun and interesting going on at the Atria. Playing afternoon bingo with the ladies was the highlight of my week!
