Had a good time. The host and comedians were funny. The only 2 things I have to say is that 1. The drinks are HELLA expensive for no reason, 2 long Islands, 1 margarita, & 1 stella beer came up to $64. That's robbery. And I got ripped off. Also 2, there's literally no fans or AC. Don't open a tab bring cash and pay for every drink as soon as you get it so there's no discrepancy. Update: They are actually adding 18% tip automatically on the bill without telling you, so that you can tip more without knowing. That's very deceitful. They need to use that money for some damn ceiling fans or AC. it was hot. Also, tickets are cheaper on Groupon. You're welcome.

I wasn't planning on writing a review, but after reading another reviewers comment about how they were scammed, I needed to tell my story. I wanted to give the bartender the benefit of the doubt but this may be a trend. The bartender was very rude. I was afraid to ask her for drink because of her snippy remarks. I still remained cordial. She then charged my card the wrong amount. When I pointed this out to her, she rang up my card again, and again charged it the same wrong amount. Again, I pointed this out to her and again she charged my card the same wrong amount. I asked for copies of the 3 voided receipts. Thankfully, I caught the mistakes THREE times

8/4/23 first time here. Cool spot. Nice place to see comedy. Saw Jeanine Garofalo and several other funny comics! Friendly bartenders & clean WCs!

I had a lot of fun at the show, the comedians ranged in appeal but were all funny, and the wait staff were nice, however I was ripped off on drinks. My companion got a drink at the bar that cost $11 so even with a possible table service markup, there is no way three drinks should ever cost $95 -- and our bill was not itemized so there was no way to see specific charges. It may have been a bill for another table but there is no way to know. I drank too much and didn't pay enough attention till later so I'll take that hit, but I would advise patrons to be very mindful before they sign their cards.

Wow. What a horrible experience We attended the open mic night. I think all my group (5 of us) felt pretty unsafe for a large part of the show. I've been to open mic events before but this one consisted of mostly over drugged and utterly incoherent attempts to squeeze a laugh I guess. I couldn't understand what people were saying for a large part of the evening. It was seeing a roster of emotionally unstable and insecure people showcasing whatever disfunctionality was evidently present in their life and berating the audience to laugh or else… There were a few people who actually attempted (and sometimes succeeded) to engage with actual comedy. Whether it was funny or not, this was truly admirable and all the power to them. But for the most part I feel it was predominantly a sorry sight and we all left feeling this was a fascinating yet very troubling experience Will I go again - absolutely not Am I happy I went - definitely. Getting exposed to this cringy and creepy side of… humanity was nothing if not a truly fascinating anthropological experience

The show is great! But the service. We ordered Paloma drinks but the glasses were full of ice and when we mentioned to waitress she just roughly replied “ It’s America”. Babe it’s just your opinion. And the cherry on top. For some reason they charged us $21/drink but menu had price$16. Nothing critical bud a little unpleasantly.

Comedy line up was funny! But service was the worst I’ve ever experienced! Asked the waitress multiple times for a glass of water and she acknowledged it but never brought it but saw her dropping glasses of water at other tables…. Even after paying for our drinks and giving her a tip, still asked for water never got it. Definitely ruined the experience!

The comedians were funny but it took a really long time for the server to take our drink order even though we were one of the first tables seated. People that were seated after us were served before us (not sure if it was because we were wearing masks or what). Also, the server said that the beer menu wasn't updated and she didn't seem to know what beers they had.

I loved the club, the lineup, and the staff!! I love that it's a small intimate place. No two drink min and the drinks they pour are generous and not overpriced. Will definitely go back!

Saw the Saturday 9.45 show, which was by far the most hack low end comedy I've ever seen. Comics complaining they were tired and the audience weren't keen, every act had less than 5 minutes stretching out to 20 minute sets, really embarrassing, we watched a free open mic after which was slightly better, but 100 dollars for tickets in NYC for this sucks.

Talent is 5+, the rest not so much. Do you want to laugh your a$$ off? Then this is your place. Do you want a full service comedy experience? This is not your place. No frills comedy club that’s worth the trip if you want to laugh - just come with lowered expectations on the drinks (watered down and overpriced), only movie theater snacks available, and overworked bartenders who have to double duty and bus the tables between sets. If they could hire just a couple more people and make better drinks this place would be a 5.

This place has 3 prices according to where the seating is. I bought 4 tickets @:$40 each. When we went inside, the hostess said to sit anywhere we wanted. I told her that I paid for front row seats She then directed us to a front table. But she was telling others to sit where they want also. She didn't ask me or them what seats we paid for. Also, I was told by text and email to arrive a half hour before the show. When we got there, the hostess said that's only on weekends. We got there at 7:30pm for the 8pm show. We were not let into the performance room until 8pm.

I'm really happy to see this place open for business. It's a great atmosphere, staff is friendly and the comedians are super talented. Nothing but good vibes. Be back soon.

Great comedians and an amazing audience. I originally came with a friend as a spectator. However, the audience and I encouraged my friend to perform for the first time ever. Everyone was very supportive!!

Great venue for Comedy. Dark room, close quarters. Bar outside and table service. Dark room with a bright stage with a subway city backdrop that embodies NYC. Loud and sufficient sound. Great place for a laugh in busy Brooklyn, steps from the Barklay, and almost all major subway lines. I've performed there myself and love this venue.

Comedians fine but not great - to be expected at a comedy competition. The one star is for the bartender who bartended june 18,2022. Absolutely terrible, rude person and completely wrong drink orders to boot. Never again.

I come here for the open mic stand up comedy events. They run a very professional open mic. They even have real shows. The room is large but not too big and great for a comedian. The staff is very helpful. The bartender is the sweetest and they have many options for non alcoholic drinks and small snacks. Bathrooms are clean.

Small, intimate club. If you like the lineup for an evening it’s a good place to go. Food/drinks wise, there’s popcorn and a good selection of drinks (don’t expect anything fancy).

Comedy show was mediocre at best. There was only 2 other people there. Comics kept asking questions to us. I get it no one else there but it was annoying. One comic asked my Dad if he knew English a couple times because he was not laughing at her jokes (FYI English is his only Language). Ordered 1 drink during the show said $13 dollars on the menu. I asked for the bill at the end and she automatically asked for my card. She tricked me into paying $20 dollars for it. Glass was filled with ice maybe 4 Oz in it all together. They pressured us into filling out a raffle for free shots even though we didn't want them and just wanted to leave.

Went to the open mic with my friends thinking it would be fun… the entire time we were targeted and harassed by every male comedian that went up just for being a group of young girls, made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I definitely wouldn’t recommend going there.

I think I’ve found my new favourite Friday night spot. The venue is spacious and the staff is very friendly. The drinks are affordable for a bar in Brooklyn. Definitely will be visiting this club often .

Very fun and friendly environment. The comedians are hilarious. The place can get very crowded because it is a very small place, but their service is good and the shows are excellent.

Had a great time last night with a few family members. The comics were mostly superb (except for one) and the venue was nice. The only thing missing was more people! Hope to come again when there's a full house.

Nice, intimate space with good comics. Seating is a little too tight, and on the rainy night we were there the roof was leaking a little during the show. No drink minimum but the drinks aren't cheap..

Nice club, but some very bad comedians in the lineup. One of them actually stopped talking after a few minutes, was seriously bored, looked at his watch, and said „oh my god I wish this was over“. Overall not good value for money. Also, don’t buy the more expensive first row tickets - the club was half empty anyway on a Friday evening.

  • 1/5 yas F. 7 months ago on Google
Basically a scam! I bought tickets online only to arrive and be rudely told the show had been cancelled (hadn't been informed prior to arriving). I emailed trying to get a refund and after a couple of emails back and forth was ghosted. From other reviews it seems this is not uncommon. Rude people and badly organized - definitely avoid!

Performed at the open mic, absolutely wonderful and memorable experience

  • 3/5 Jerry J. 7 months ago on Google
Nice people and funny comics, but drinks are severely overpriced. Bills aren’t itemized so can’t tell what taxes/fees were added. For example, Tito’s was considered a “premium liquor” and I was charged $20 for a vodka+soda 🤨

  • 5/5 Ann C. 2 years ago on Google
Sets start and end on time...the seating arrangements are tight; so if you don't mind sitting close. Orders for drinks were taken right away. Not a bad spot for drinks and comedy.

Came here to see Rachel Feinstein on a Friday night. Super intimate club with other great comedians on the bill. The host was also super funny! Really appreciate there was no minimum!

  • 4/5 Mina W. 6 months ago on Google
We saw a great set of comics here. We came to see Janeane Garofalo, who was fantastic, and everyone was hilarious. No raunchy jokes, or low blows. The night was a blast. I’ll definitely be back.

  • 2/5 Stuart K. 6 months ago on Google
The comedy was sub par, and those going to see Janeane Garofalo work on new material will be disappointed. You could hear crickets for most of her set and see confused faces for the rest of it. On top of that two small cans of beer and one bottle of Stella came to $43. NYC has much better comedy options.

  • 1/5 todd p. 2 years ago on Google
The place has all the charm of a Yankees stadium restroom. They charge $25 (incl. taxes and fees) for what feels like an open mic night. There's plenty of free comedy in the city on a Tuesday, probably with better drinks. For the love of God, go somewhere else.

  • 4/5 sobeida c. 3 years ago on Google
I loved this place. The atmosphere is so good and it’s still lit even though there is restrictions on capacity. The comedians were fantastic, I loved everyone of them! The stage set up is dope as well. The prices here are reasonable considering the location in the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this place, and would like to visit again. I took off one star because my drink was weak, it barely gave me a buzz. For $13 I expected it to be a bit stronger.

Had an amazing time last night. All the comics were funny. Great atmosphere well worth the ride to NY.

  • 4/5 Marcia Melendez R. 10 months ago on Google
I think this is the best comedy club in Brooklyn.... Open most nights, lots of specials so it doesn't cost too much to get in and the comedians are great. It's our go to spot when friends come in from out of town or when we don't know what to do on a night. It's always good for a laugh. No pun intended!!!!!

  • 2/5 Mike J. 1 year ago on Google
MC was very unfunny. Headliner also not funny. Drinks expensive, service slow. I will not be back.

  • 1/5 Harriet H. 1 year ago on Google
Scam. There's a few TripAdvisor reviews that reflect our experience - we thought Janeane Garofalo was headlining but it's just straight up lies? Staff were rude and vibes sketchy af.

  • 5/5 Christina R. 1 year ago on Google
Visited Eastville last weekend. This place is such a vibe. The staff is so nice and they have a bar with a unique liquor selection from local vendors! Cant wait to go back!

  • 5/5 Marcus S. 1 year ago on Google
Good bar. Five people at comedy show but worth it to see comics trying their best.

  • 5/5 Michael S. 1 year ago on Google
JJ Liberman and Brian Scolaro were absolutely on fire when I went here this week. Between the room being 5000 degrees and the 2 of them making me cry laughing, I was basically soaked head to toe. Please invest in ventilation for that room. Anyways that was one hell of a show.

  • 3/5 Brooklyn B. 1 year ago on Google
A real hit or miss. Been here about 5 times, some are funny shows, some are boring and miserable which I catch myself daydreaming and thinking about which bills I have to pay next. Comics are amateur at best. I would say if you need a desperate place for comedy, come here. Average

  • 1/5 Sam M. 1 year ago on Google
Scammin. We didn't notice the overcharge til later. $50 for two cans. Slow/forgetful service as well. Funny open mic though

  • 3/5 Hasanain H. 1 year ago on Google
Very spacious club, variety of drinks and snacks ( no minimal order), friendly staff and good service. The lineup was average. I would still check it out again

  • 1/5 Greg R. 1 year ago on Google
I really wanted to like this place, but it blows. Bar feels like a bunch of kids selling beer they found in their fridge.
