Fun for the whole family!!!! This bar boasts an incredible history, great staff, and fantastic patrons. The food is pretty good, great variety of beers, and an amazing atmosphere. An excellent way for locals and visitors of the Dahlonega area to mingle with the US Army's historic Ranger school and its latest batch of instructors. Whether its food to get ready for a hike in the Chattahoochee National Forest or perhaps a beer and wings after a few days of camping, the Overhang is an amazing spot.

It is exactly what it is designed to be. Cold beer, good bar food, great service, and awesome patriotic people. Hiking, biking, and more in the area. If heading to Dahlonega area, set this spot as a waypoint.

Jim and Isaac were outstanding, great customer service, perfect food menu for this Ranger/Military Club. When you are in the area, stop in, all vets and the club is open for non military vets. You WILL NOT be dissapointed!

I believe this is a private club, I could be wrong.
