This restaurant has the WORST period customer service ever. First of all they don't take your order. You have to wait at least 10-15 mins before they even ask you what you want. They close their dining at 9:45, and restaurant suppose to close at 10, I went there at 9:05, waited 10 mins, finally when the guy showed up to take the order he said there will be no dine in, only take out and he was showing me his attitude. How about y'all just update your online hours of operation, so that people don't show up. Even better, just say we don't serve after 8pm. Learn how to do some custom service!!! Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed!!!

My friend and I go to the restaurant often. The owner is nice and has known my friend for years. My consistent issue is with whoever answers the phone. We started calling ahead more recently, and I've had enough with the level of disrespect received from the guy who takes our order. He forgot our samosas once, so my friend called. He said we're closed and hung up the phone. I called to place an order yesterday, and the second I finished listing what we wanted, he hung up. No indication that he was about to, didn't confirm the order, didn't tell me how long until the food would be ready. I called back, and he said something along the lines of "didn't you just place an order??..." He still ended up getting our order wrong. Perhaps he treats his own people better, but I've had enough. We'll be finding a new go-to place. Work on your customer service.

Naan couldn't have been made better. Perfect. Every single. Piece. Very impressive on the consistency. Chicken Curry was great. I've had curry from literally all over the world. It's absolutely great. The goat Biryani was a first for me. Given by everything else I had it probably set the standard very high for all the others I try in the future. Nonetheless it was awesome too. Nothing was dry in the slightest. Only thing that could improve would be drinks that come from India my favorite is fruit juices we had in Afghanistan in 13'. Mango or pineapple .. cough.. cou...

I love the Tehari Biryani and Tandoori chicken here! Portions are big and priced appropriately! Lots of meat in the Tehari too :) Would not recommend any of the kabobs though.

This hidden gem has delicious Bangladeshi food that was well worth the drive and wait. Their Tehari was outstanding. We also had their fuchkas, samosas, biriyani and fish dishes which were all finger licking good! We went back there 2 days in a row when we were in Atlanta. This is attached to pretty good Bangladesh grocery store that carried everything from fresh halal meat and Bangladeshi fish to spices, packaged food and sweets. This is our go-to place for delicious Bangladeshi food and Bangladeshi groceries whenever we go to Atlanta!

Went there once. Haven't had such disgusting Beef Tehari in my life. Tasted like rice thrown in a pot of cinnamon and cloves and not the other way around. Took Goat Vindaloo to-go. The only place I've been to in the US to not pack rice with vindaloo. Mughlai was edible. Wanted to support my fellow countrymen's business by being a customer, but I'm not going back after this experience.

I recently ordered takeout from Al-Amin Supermarket & Restaurant, and I must say that my experience was a mix of highs and lows. Let me break it down based on the items I ordered. **Hilsha fish:** The Hilsha fish dish left me disappointed. Although the taste was decent, I was taken aback to find that half of the fish pieces were the smallest portions right before the tail. This made the overall presentation unappealing and diminished the enjoyment of the dish. I would rate the taste as a 3 out of 5. **Rice:** Unfortunately, Al-Amin served low-quality rice instead of the expected Basmati rice. The use of subpar rice significantly affected the overall meal experience, as the quality of rice plays a vital role in a satisfying dining experience. **Dal or Lentil:** On a positive note, the Dal or Lentil dish was enjoyable, offering a good balance of flavors and tastiness. **Chotpoti:** The Chotpoti stood out as one of the highlights of the order. It had a generous portion size and delivered a delicious and flavorful experience. **Moghlai Porota and Samosa:** Without a doubt, the Moghlai Porota and Samosa were the best items on the menu. These dishes were undoubtedly the stars of the meal, leaving me impressed and satisfied. **Packaging:** Sadly, the packaging left much to be desired. The low quality of packaging resulted in half of the food being improperly packed, which is unacceptable for a takeout order. This oversight affected the overall presentation and freshness of the dishes. Considering my experience at Al-Amin Supermarket & Restaurant, I would rate it as an average establishment. While some dishes were tasty and impressive, the shortcomings in the quality of rice, fish portions, and packaging were major drawbacks. If another restaurant, such as Purnima, is available as an option, I would be inclined to recommend that over Al-Amin. In conclusion, Al-Amin Supermarket & Restaurant has the potential to improve its overall dining experience by addressing the issues mentioned above. With some necessary improvements, it could become a more competitive and attractive option for customers seeking a satisfactory dining experience.

We went to dinner today and it was a nice experience. The owner is a really nice guy and was very welcoming and provided great service. Regarding the food, chicken biriyani is really good and we enjoyed it the most !!! Goat biriyani was ok but the meat was super tender and very fresh and delicious. Good value for the money!!!

Ordered three different items to try for iftar, The portions were good the food was seasoned really well & the spice level was just perfect. You could tell the food was definitely made to order and fresh. We will be ordering from here again very soon.

On my visit. I rec'd no greeting, no warmth in welcoming me asa customer. I dressed appropriately, appearing to be a traveler in fact as I had my knapsack nd shaving bag. Yet, the man atda register came off snarly, looking away from me when I sort eye contact, he then walk off when I reached for a menu w/o him inviting me 2c one. I gave the food 3stars bc I know east indian cuisine 2b good. I have west indian roots nd im raised in nyc with a world of flava unda one's nose, so I know taste. I rec'd the impression if one isn't east indian r affiliated, ur not welcome, so I didn't eat nd won't be back. For those who favor respect nd good indian cuisine, try my good friends inda dwtown area at Aamar. They'll serve yu up luvli with a smile.

Very nice authentic Bengali eatery. Only request, can you please have different base curry for different types of fish? The last time it was the same base gravy for both rohu and Irish.

We went to check out their famous beef tehari & morog polao! But unfortunately those were finished. So we ended up with plain rice, ruhi fish dopeaza, beef bhuna & daal! The foods were amazing. Had authentic Bangladeshi taste after a long long time. If anyone wants to try Bangladeshi cuisine, it’s a must go place! In Shaa Allah we’ll visit them again if we visit Atlanta πŸ™

I recently found out about this place and their biryani is great ! Flavor 10/10 Service 10/10 Edit: The spices are on point and the meats are properly seasoned, really like the fried onions too.

I used to go to Al-amin a lot and the food was always pretty good. I am not sute if their chef has changed over the past year, because the taste is not the same anymore (specially the biryani and tehari) and the amount is also much less than before. Very disappointing.

We tried a few different dishes and loved the tehari and morog polao most. The hazir biriyani was okay too. The prices are really low compared to the taste and they have a wide range of south asian grocery items and raw fish/meat items as well. Last but most importantly, very friendly people as you would expect from Bangladesh!

Definitely come for halal meat as well as spices and requirements for desi cooking. Prices are often not parked you'll have to ask at the counter, they cut the meat for you to your request which is amazing, I would definitely would recommend buying in bulk... And the little restaurant attached does probably the best tea outside of dhaka!

Went there for Desi mutton/chicken and I must say this place doesn't disappoint you. Plus you can get all Indian/Bangladeshi groceries here. Did I forget about fish? Yes, of course. Bangla and no fish are oxymoron.

This review is for the restaurant. No frills, straight to the point, goodness. We go here for their butter chicken and garlic naan πŸ«“ my friend said that the lamb curry was flavorful.
