No wonder this place is on every list of Best Burgers in America. Their burgers are amazing. I wanted to try this place since I saw it on one of the best burgers list, but I always skipped it for something else. This time we decided to try it for lunch on Saturday. The place is located inside a Chevron on Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, and it's very easily missed if you don't know the exact location. The restaurant has plenty of parking space. When we reached, there was a line to place the order, but it was moving fast. So we got a double Cheeseburger with grilled onions, 2 Cheese Grilled Sandwiches with bacon and jalapenos, 1 Jersey Dog with grilled onions, mustard, Frank's hot sauce, and Tater tots. They have a few benches outside the restaurant where you can sit and eat, but we opted for to-go. The burger was crispy and juicy, and the meat-to-bun and condiments ratio was perfect. The grilled cheese was delicious, but I felt that for a grilled cheese sandwich, it lacked the cheesiness, but that shouldn't stop you from getting it. Just ask for extra cheese if you prefer it a bit cheesy as I do 😋. Jersey dog and tater tots were good too. Must must must try this place if you haven’t already. I can't wait to be back for more.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this place. This by far, hands down is the BEST burger I have ever eaten in my life!!!!! The seasoning and flavors are unlike any I have ever had and is well worth the trip! If you want the best burger you’ve ever tried, go to NFA! The ONLY negative is that they have now ruined every other burger spot because NOTHING else compares!!!!

Delicious burger! I got the off-menu Y'all Burger (on waffles) because I saw it in other photos. It's very good but I'll go for a regular bun next time. Lots of grilled onions with that add-on. Sassy sauce is nice, creamy and just a little spicy.

I think this lives up to the title of best burger in Georgia. Burgers were crispy on the edges but slightly pink inside. Nice and juicy. The sauce and garnished elevate the meat to another level. Soft potato roll to soak in the juices. The tots were ultra crunchy. The waffle is something you should not leave without.

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. The meals were not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. The breathtaking view added to the ambiance, creating a delightful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for a memorable dining outing.

The hype is worth the wait in line. This is one of the best burgers and the soft, sweet bun is perfect with the crispy edges of the patty. Fry seasoning was good and the NFA Sauce was great on both the burger and fries. Hopefully they get a freestanding in the future.

One of the most solid smash burgers we have ever had. Great sear, and so flavorful and juicy-- not dry at all. We got the double/Billy's Classic. One original and one with raw onions. Both were great. The polish sausage was grilled well and had a nice snap/bite. The beef dog was good. The fries and tots were a nice touch, but the star was definitely the burgers. NFA is located in the Chevron gas station. Plenty of parking (quick turnaround as well). The orders are placed inside, and then delivered to your vehicle or the outside picnic tables.

Honestly, this is hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in my life. On top of that, it’s in a Chevron. When I got there, two men from Boston gave me the rundown on what to order, what they like on the menu, etc. Seating is either in your car or there are picnic tables in the back. I sat out there and enjoyed the weather, ate my burger and just enjoyed the experience. Can’t wait to go back!

I kid you not… these are the best burgers I’ve ever had! I work remotely and have the privilege of eating around the United States and have tried burgers from all over the USA. But, I swear NFA Burger has the absolute tastiest burger I’ve had in my entire life. It’s cooked to perfection with the most delicious secret sauce that compliments the burger perfectly. And, the side of fries are seasoned and fried to the tastiest degree you could ever dream of! Plus, you have to order the homemade Schmoops (cinnamon swirls) that are just to die for! I get them every time I visit NFA Burger. I recommend this spot to anyone and everyone who’s visiting my hometown of Atlanta. No spot in the USA can compete with the NFA Burger, and I’ll die on that hill. Thanks for the amazing customer service from the owner and his kind, caring family. They greet you when you come in, while you’re in line and deliver your food to you with a smile. You can’t ask for any better quality of food and customer service than at NFA Burger. Legit flavorful smash-burger made fresh to order! The fries cooked in beef tallow with their "sassy sauce" are also some of the best you will have! I didn't have the hotdogs but my friend did and it was gone in no time! The owner took time to check in on us and our experience, and make sure we'd be back again. Don't sleep on gas station food, you'll miss finds like this!

Paul Millikan on Fox 5 news was spot on about NFA’s (Not Fooling Around) cheeseburgers. My hubby and I had the Double Classic Cheeseburger and Fries. The burgers were so juicy and the taste was fantastic. The crinkle fries were hot and seasoned to perfection. After ordering, you can sit on picnic tables under a huge oak tree. The runner comes out , calls out your name and delivers your meal to you. He was very friendly and asked everyone how their food was. You would never think a burger place inside a gas station would be this good. We drove 50 minutes to try NFA out. We are glad we did. Well worth the drive.

Absolutely fantastic! Customer service was amazing and the burgers were delicious. Great flavor great crunch and the buns pull it all together. We drove 45 minutes to try this place and will definitely be coming back and bringing whole family! If you haven’t tried it highly recommend you do. I've been hearing many good things about this place as having the "best burger" in Atlanta. Being a burger connoisseur, I had to try it myself. It's located INSIDE the Chevron station, so you have to go in, and there's a stand to the right of the entrance where you give the order to the representative. Then, you can either tell them where your car is or sit at the picnic tables, and they'll bring it out to you. Novel. Anyway, I concur that it's one of the best and lives up to the hype. The classic double cheese comes on a Martin's potato bun with pickles, mustard, and sassy sauce. I added Hatch green chiles to mine. Their fries are freshly made with sassy dry seasoning. They also have Belgian Lege waffles for dessert with pearled sugar melted into the waffle with your choices of sauces. It's not too big, so if you get the double with fries, you can make room for the waffle.

Looks can definitely be deceiving because I was not expecting a burger from the inside of a gas station to be one of the best I’ve ever had. My pictures do not do the food justice. NFA Burger completely lived up to the hype and delivered an incredible burger. You order from a small counter, and the servers will bring your food to your car or one of the nice picnic tables. The burgers and fries are priced very fairly and blew me away. The double burger was perfectly grilled, very juicy, and seasoned perfectly with a nice peppery kick. The cheese was so gooey and delicious, the Sassy sauce was sweet and tangy, and everything about the burger just blended together perfectly. I absolutely loved the fries as well; they were light, insanely crispy, and very seasoned. Do not miss out on this small burger joint. You’ll be wanting to come back everyday!

I love the location is rather unique and it’s worth the wait. I came in and the line was long but after getting my order and having the pleasure of waiting in my car for it to be delivered to me it’s a no more than 10 minutes to get my food. only thing I’m mad about is that I ordered a single lol, you should automatically go with the double. It was a really good burger love the sassy sauce in the fries were perfectly season. Will definitely be back.

These burgers are GREAT! I will definitely go back when I am craving a burger. The burgers were fresh, hot, and delicious. Not only was the food great but they were really fast as well. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for an awesome burger in Atlanta (get the tots too)!

Saw that this place had won awards and was regarded as one of the best burgers in Georgia. I obviously had to check it out. The service was great, even as they operated out of a Chevron gas station. The food offerings were somewhat limited, but very unique. You’ll find more than just fries as an option here. The y have tots, and even some special dessert options like a liege waffle. Probably one of the best fast food desserts I’ve ever had. All things considered, the experience was great, the burger was good, and the price was reasonable. Would I regularly make the 45 min drive to get there? Maybe not, but it was worth it to try it out. Highly recommend. If you do check it out, be sure to get one of those waffles while you’re there. You won’t regret it.

Very tasty burger, tons of greese which made it even better. Somewhat similar to Shake Shack but not as good as Shake Shack BUT a VERY good burger in the end. I liked the Tots a lot better than the Fry's personally. No seating inside, but they do have tables outside if you don't like eating in your car.

I knew that I had to check out this lil burger spot after seeing all the great reviews...and they were NOT wrong! I'm simple when it comes to burgers but picky about freshness and meat quality...and this burger is delicious! Ordered to go and they brought my order to my car in no time...easy and friendly customer service. I will grab another burger from here for sure!

I saw a TikTok video about this place and wanted to try it from that time. As a foodie i am always down for local delights which are not owned by big franchises and moat of the time they don’t disappoint. Same happened with NBA burger, the guy who took my order was great and when I told him that due to my dietary restrictions I cannot consume foods that are in contact with Port, he assured me that there is no Cross Contamination between Bacon and Beef Burgers. I order Classic (which comes with double patty), they delivered my food to car as there was no sitting area. The burger was fresh and delicious (at least i like it way better than most big franchises 😅). I ate the whole thing in like minutes. I gave them 5 star as i have good quality food in right price with right service but like all my readers to keep their expectations to a good burger and don’t expect a Out of World Burger. If you know what a good burger is, then this place is just for you.

Grabbed food to go. Customer service is great! They have picnic tables in the back or you can sit in your car and they'll bring your order out. The burgers were yummy and seasoned perfectly. Nice crispy edges of on the crust of the 🍔. Tator tots were yummy and seasoned. Not your average tot. You wait in line outside of the gad station and they welcome you in to order. They have menus posted outside along the line so you can be ready to order when you walk in. Definitely will go back again and again.

Have been hearing about this place for a while, read it was "the best burger in the ATL" etc. Not quite. Was it cooked perfectly! Yes. Was the meat fresh and tasty? Absolutely. the bread and pickles and cheese were all great. Overall the burger did have great flavor. Here's why I give them a 3. No Mayo, lettuce or tomato options and a spice added to the meat. I'm a LTOP guy all the way (Lettuce Tomato, Onion and pickles) w/ ketchup, mustard and Mayo. If they had LTOP this burger would be a 5! Then it would have everything that would make it SNAP! The sassy sauce didn't do a thing for me. Couldn't tell what it was trying to do - be hot? be spicy? other? Then there is the spice they either put in the meat or on top when cooking. I liked it, had a nice spicy flavor but if you're not a spicy person make sure you ask them not to put it on and can be a bit much. I had a few bites where it overtook all the great flavors and I LOVE spice!! Tots were cooked perfectly, delicious. I dipped them in the sassy sauce but it really didn't do anything to enhance the overall flavor of the Tot. Services was spot on. Great greeting. Fast service and friendly staff. Parking is tight since it's a gas station and was never designed to be a dine in restaurant. There is outside seating if its a nice day. Otherwise you get it to go or you can eat in your car. Would I go here again, maybe...probably not since I'd need to bring my own lettuce, tomato and mayo - nothing stopping you from taking it home and added those. The other guys that was with me agreed friendly's, 5 Guys and Smash burger are on the same level.

Hearty double patty burger with that soda shop nostalgic grill taste. Tots were hot with just right amount of crunch to outside and warm tender inside. Sauce was good accompaniment.

Great food and friendly people! My picture of the burger isn't a good one but believe me it tasted awesome. Tots were a big hit. So crispy and tasty with the sassy sauce dip. Remember where you parked because you order in the store and have to tell them where and what kind of car. You pay for drinks separately.

This backyard burger popup has been a super secret diamond in Dunwoody for a couple of years (as of this review). I love that Billy and his family finally have the recognition they deserve for their super tasty smash burgers. Ill say it once, and I'll say it again: if a menu (like NFA's) has 5 main items or fewer, there is no way possible way to mess them up! And NFA proves that accurate! These burgers come out with these mouth watering lacy crispy edges with the savory melty American cheese topped with the perfect pickle okay super soft potato roll. I have to tell you, I am getting hungry just writing this. Get in there, get a Double burger, add a slice of perfectly cooked thick cut bacon, and you HAVE to get their sassy tots (the sauce on the side is MONEY). I'll be back and I'm bringing my friends and family, too! Thank you Bill and Kramer Family!!

NFA burger will rock your socks off! Don't let chevron scare you off there's magic inside! Smash burgers on potato buns! Get the double or two you won't regret it. Trust me you're going to want a 2nd. If bacon is your thing they have that too. And no it's not sliced it's a crumble compote that perfectly combines to create a mouthwatering master piece. Also get extra sauce you're going to want more. 5 stars

The NFA Burger spot was a good experience. The food was good, and very full of flavor. Juicy! The owner doesn’t believe in mayo or ketchup, however the burger was good with out seasoning. It was a little spice for my taste but good. Now the customer service was the best I’ve have in a long time. The server was great, he described every for us with details. Once He brought out the food he double check on us to make sure we’re satisfied. He asked what the issue was with my burger and I explain him it was spicy for my liking. He ran back inside and remade my burger without the seasoning and it was great by the way. Overall the experience was wonderful, the kids enjoyed sitting outside.

I was surprised to be inside a gas station, but it was a happy lunch with friendly staffs and picnic area prepared outside. It is convenient to bring it directly to inside of the car or to the seat outside! Next time I'll try the 4 patties🍔

One of the best burger places I’ve been to in Georgia! The service was great as they bring your food to your car! Their sauce is amazing! The fries are really good along with their tots! The best part was their burger as it had a very fresh taste to it! They also sell really good cinnamon sugar twists called Schmoops!
