This place was fun! I always wanted to try this….I did hit my head with the end of the axe…thank God it wasn’t the wedge sharp part. I guess that’s why you have to sign a wavier. We got the 30 min deal that was $19.00 per person, but that wasn’t enough time. We should have done 1hr which would have been $29.00 per person! By the time we got the hang of it, it was time to go.

Great time with Kai as our instructor! He was very cool and personable with our group of five. He was very accomodating, too, when we asked for more time! So, for a reasonable fee, we hung out for another 30 minutes.

Very fun time throwing axes at Epic Axe - Raleigh! Excellent location inside Morgan Food Hall and really cool axe instructor Ky! Very knowledgeable and gave me great tips and techniques on how to throw the axe, felt like a got the hang of it by the end, and he even let me use a custom made axe! Very friendly staff and great time definitely recommend.

I had no idea what to expect, but it was excellent! Our coach was great, gave us tips and tricks, but was not overly involved once we got going. He helped us as a judge for the game we played - perfect to settle scoring differences! Just a great place, staff and location. I highly recommend. Worth the price for sure!

Had a great experience, our instructor Ky was great to work with. He showed us how to throw, coached us throughout our time there and even showed us a few fun games we could play. Next time we will go with more couples. An hour was a perfect amount of time. We did go on a hot day, Morgan Street Food Hall, where Epic Axe is located is a very warm building probably due to all the food stalls, so it was a bit hot while playing. Epic did turn on some fans for us, so that helped.

We had an absolute riot! KY and Brandon were extremely kind and excellent teachers. Even as first time ax throwers, KY had my husband and I hitting bullseyes regularly. If you enjoy some friendly competition, go spend some time at Epic Ax in the Morgan Street Food Hall.

My sister brought me here on a weekend trip visiting Raleigh. Axe throwing here was awesome! Ky made it a fun experience teaching us how to throw and score. Definitely one of the high points of the weekend. Thank you, Ky!

Staff was friendly- we ended up being late but they were able to push our reservation back in order for us to throw for the time we paid for! They helped us with technique and by the end of the night we were pros! I highly recommend for a group event or even just for a couple!
