Before I get distracted, the coffee is amazing. Really amazing. Beyond this though, I have been so impressed by their level of concern for the customer and for the community. I don’t see myself buying any other coffee for sometime! I love that I can benefit women in need, a local business, and farmers all just by enjoying my favorite morning routine. I am trying to be more conscious about what I buy and where it comes from. Our money is our vote. So I am so happy I found this! The only thing I dislike about this is the packaging. Now keep in mind, I am kind of a dirty hippie and my standards are high, the packaging they use is actually pretty okay. I would just love to see a more recyclable, compostable, or biodegradable alternative.

Great little local roastery. I met Zach earlier this week and he was the most humble and unpretentious coffee roaster I've met. Very knowledgable individual! He even showed me the process of roasting a batch of coffee and sent me home with a bag of Rwanda Gwiza. The coffee is one of the best I've had! It was experience that I will remember for a long while:)

My wife and I are big coffee drinkers. Until recently we purchased the mass produced beans from S******k’s. Then we tasted El Tambo from Empower Coffee Roasters. It tastes the way coffee is supposed to taste. Say goodbye to bitterness. We especially like that Empower Coffee Roasters only buys beans from women-operated cooperatives and that a percentage of the profits are given to charities supporting women. We are now on a subscription plan receiving a bag a week. We highly recommend Empower Coffee Roasters.

Love the new cold brew decanter! Easy to use and looks cool. I am still experimenting with coffee to water ratio to suit my tastes. Plan on gifting this to my coffee loving friends.
