I
rarely
leave
reviews,
but
this
seems
like
the
only
way
to
get
some
follow
up..
Against
my
better
judgement
and
countless
horror
stories
with
friends,
I
opened
a
membership
with
this
gym.
This
was
pre-COVID
and
because
it’s
only
a
5
min
walk
from
my
office,
I
decided
to
also
get
the
personal
training
contract
to
meet
some
of
my
fitness
goals.
COVID
rolls
around
and
due
to
quarantine,
they
closed.
With
the
closure
came
the
freezing
of
all
membership
dues.
Once
they
reopened
(early/mid
may
or
June),
I
called
to
get
info
on
canceling
as
my
trainer
no
longer
worked
here
and
I
was
actually
able
to
find
something
more
affordable
(in
addition
to
the
fact
that
I
don’t
feel
comfortable
working
out
in
a
mask
or
being
in
close
proximity
for
an
activity
that
I
can
easily
do
from
home).
At
that
time,
I
was
told
a
manager
wasn’t
available
and
they’d
take
my
info
to
have
them
call
back.
I
never
received
a
call.
I
also
reached
out
via
the
“contact
us”
form
on
their
site
with
no
response.
About
a
month
or
so
after
that,
they
were
forced
to
close
again
and
apparently,
reopened
8/15.
Not
only
did
I
not
receive
a
call
back
from
the
manager
from
my
earlier
inquiry,
but
I
also
did
not
receive
an
email
stating
that
with
the
recent
reopening,
membership
dues
would
resume.
That
said,
I
woke
up
this
morning
to
a
$180
charge
from
EOS.
I
immediately
called
to
speak
to
someone
(6:45am).
The
rep
I
spoke
with
was
able
to
cancel
my
membership,
but
advised
me
that
I’d
have
to
speak
with
a
manager
to
cancel
the
personal
training
since
it
was
a
separate
contract.
I
was
advised
to
call
back
around
8:30/9am
when
they
were
in
the
office.
I
call
back
@
10:54am
and
am
advised
that
the
manager
is
in
a
meeting..
how
convenient.
They
take
my
info
AGAIN
and
promise
me
a
call
back
when
the
manager
is
out
of
their
meeting.
3pm
rolls
around
and
still
no
call.
I
call
back
at
3:07pm
and
am
transferred
to
the
manager’s
extension
and
they
don’t
answer
and
I
am
forced
to
leave
a
voicemail..
how
convenient
again.
I’ve
been
trying
to
speak
to
a
manager
about
canceling
this
stupid
contract
since
MAY.
In
2020,
canceling
a
membership
should
not
be
this
difficult.
I
should
be
able
to
log
onto
the
website
or
the
app,
pay
whatever
penalties
there
are
and
cancel.
Not
to
mention
the
fact
that
it’s
highly
unprofessional
to
be
promised
MULTIPLE
call
backs
with
no
follow
up.
What’s
unfortunate
is
that
I
am
not
the
only
one
who’s
had
this
experience
with
them.
