Update: now Bennie has been harassing me via text about my review. Like I put in the review beware how you order that is what my review is about. Just a head up Bennie it illegal to record conversation if you don’t let the other party know. He lied and told me he saved our conversation when I ordered. I been going to mr gyros for years now really great people. I went yesterday and got 3 gyro plain cause I’m allergic to tomatoes and asked for the sauce on the side. They end up putting everything on it and I tried to call and correct my order. The guy I spoke to told me there nothing he can do I ordered it like that. BEWARE How you order!! I’m not going here anymore I will make the extra drive to happy valley. I can’t believe I recommend to people.

Omg! This place is delicious. I’m so glad someone I know recommended this place! I had the gyros sandwich lunch combo with fries. The meat was seasoned perfectly (I watched the owner/cook cut it off the spit- it was that fresh!), the pita was soft and chewy and held up well. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki, which was so creamy and flavorful. The fries were hot and crispy, with a delicious seasoning/coating. My husband had the chicken gyros plate, which included chicken, saffron rice, a Greek salad and pita. He really liked it. Large portions with amazing food and service-I think we found our new go to place for Gyros! — eating lunch at Mr.Gyros.

I had no idea this place was even here. What a SHOCKING surprise!! We entered. Looked at the menu. The pictures. The Gyro Platter looked the best for me. The actual presentation was bigger and BETTER than the photo!! That NEVER happens. ANYWHERE!! Starting with the salad, the tomatoes were cut in 1/2" slices. I'd swear they were grown in the Midwest. Delicious!! The cucumber, & lettuce. The same. Fresh out of a garden. Then, I have this HUGE pile of Gyro meat over yellow rice. The meat was spot on....with leftovers because there was so much. And the yellow rice? Was so moist and sticky, the perfect way it should be to compliment the meat while taking bites. I left the restaurant with more than half of my serving for leftovers!! What a deal. Lastly? Ordered a baklava to go. The pistachio one. Will definitely do this one again. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. Love this place!!

Always been decent but tonight it was so good I felt I had to write a review. The gyro meat was so juicy and fresh and the amount of meat and toppings was so much more than usual. Well worth the drive from deer valley despite all the Greek places we pass along the way. French fries are always crispy and some of my favorite in the valley.

Found this place just stopping by from out of town & passing thru… sooo glad we found!! Would definitely recommend 🤘 The food was amazing.. I got the falafel wrap. Very clean and decent priced. In all honesty the salad was not worth the price, but over all 5 ⭐️’s

I order them through door dash so never been there. But OMG! I'm from Chicago and gyros are a Huge part of the food culture! This place meets it! I love it soo freaking much! Gyros are amazing, tziki sauce is on point! And I live for their baklava! 🤤

Honestly, one of the best restaurants in Anthem. In Top 3 for sure, this is family owned, and just such amazing tasting food. That's just it, the food quality here is superb, like Grade A+. I love gyros, lamb. And yes you could get it at an Arby's, but why, that makes no sense. Here the taste, the quality is "second to none". Choose Mr. Gyros in Anthem Everytime. The baklava is so darn Good. Very Amazing. Next time, you're in Anthem Check this place out.

Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great staff is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are more than fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.

The chicken gyro is out of this world! All their dishes are good. Baklava are amazing as well. Super friendly staff…. They will make it how ever want but I would try the chicken gyro as it comes. Freaking amazing!

Always great food. The steak, chicken and lamb gyros are excellent. Staff is helpful and friendly. The Chicago hot dogs are great! It's a go-to spot. Prices are very good.

This place is AMAZING! Staff was so friendly and welcoming, great clean dining room, prompt service and tasty food! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone whether you’ve tried Greek cuisine or not reasonable prices and amazing food.

Restaurant is small, clean and very simple. But, the food I had was very good. Falafel was house made and moist. Probably best I’ve had. Veggies were fresh. I’ll eat here again and try the Gyro or kabob. Good job guys.

We are so lucky to have this place in Anthem! Great quality of Greek/Mediterranean style food with some Chicago flair. The platters are my favorite. The chicken gyro platter is so much food, I can't finish it all. I love the tzatziki sauce. All chicken and steak varieties are cooked just right. Pricing has gotten expensive, but so has every other restaurant. I prefer to pickup and eat at home. The atmosphere is clean, but not really inviting/comfortable with the bench seating. Highly recommend the food. Give them a try and order a pita or platter!

Super small philly for $10. I just ate it and still hungry. People are nice. Just could use better portion control. Way too small for $10

Great Clean food , my kids loved the chicken gyro plate, it was awesome. If i wasn’t cooking I would eat there every day. I totally recommend this place.

$15 plus tax for 2 hot dogs. No Fries. Guests / Customers seemingly not of much value.

I had an amazing experience with this food several months ago. I was worried I had built it up too much in my head when revisiting recently. I did not. I was absolutely pleased with the flavors and portion sizes. I will rave about it to anyone headed to The Valley. I will visit frequently whenever possible. Thank you Mr. Gyro for your beautiful Mediterranean food.

It was really waste of money the chicken sandwich was nothing but salad and sauce chicken had no flavor I cook better than this food this is no where close to middle eastern food unless you from Middle East then you won’t understand I did not even get full 17$ for a meal this place will be closed soon like other failed gyro trash 🕳️🤮🤢

Food was above average. Not bad, but nothing exceptional. Service was good and timely. Atmosphere...there isnt much of one. This place is simple, but effective.

First time we came here it was amazing!! Drove out of our way again to come here. Second time was okay. For almost $30 we got a Gyro, Philly cheesesteak, & 1 order of fries. This visit Gyro had huge amounts of sauce in it, sometimes when I took a bite it was just all sauce & peppers. Cheesesteak was very small, barely any meat especially compared to how loaded my gyro was. But overall alright!

I really wanted to love their food. I was super excited to finally try it but unfortunately I wasn't impressed at all. The service was great but the food wasnt good at all. The gyro meat tasted weird and not much flavor. The baklava wasnt good at all either. I was really disappointed 😞

I ordered a Gyro Salad for 17 dollars. I understand things have gone up but I ate at Chilis last night for 13 dollars. Much better and more food. I say stay away from this place unless you just love the fast food at sit down prices plus more. This place is a huge rip off.

Best gyro I've ever had and the baklava is equally delicious!! Please give this place a try. I drove 30 minutes to eat here 2 days in a row.

Was in Anthem for a swim tournament and My wife and I ended up going to Mr. Gyros two days in a row. Fantastic food and great service. We both loved it.

This was a great no-frills quick eatery to grab a chicken kabob pita sandwich! The chicken was cooked very well, pita bread was warm and fluffy, veggies were fresh, and the rice was fantastic! Next time I'm in Anthem, I'll certainly stop in for lunch.
