Came in shortly after Christmas for a birthday celebration. It was busy; I definitely recommend making a reservation here. Parking can be tricky on weekends. Great wine list and classic steakhouse menu. I had the prime rib, two others got the salmon. Everything was great from start to finish, including the service. I think our server was named Mike - he's a true pro.

How can so many people afford to dine out these days? Yet every restaurant here is packed seven days. The cost for our party of four last night with a bottle of wine, taxes and tip - $205. Be that as it may, The Keg scores big. It's one of the few restaurants that accepts reservations through an effortless mobile app that is designed to make the process easy and stays in touch with reminders and asks you to reconfirm a day before. We were seated immediately for our 7:15 PM reservation. Even though the system states that reservations are only applicable to indoor seating, we were given an option to sit outside as well. Service was very good. Our server did a fine job of explaining the menu and such. Our water was refreshed as needed through the stay. The food was attractive and the portion sizes were good. Our friends each ordered the prime rib and told us on the drive home that they were not happy with the cut or the taste. Maybe because the meat was cut thin, less than an inch, and traditional prime rib is well over that. The meat temperatures were exactly as ordered. My New York Strip was ordered medium and my wife ordered her fillet medium rare. They were perfect. Her twice baked potato was large and tasty as was my loaded baked potato. Be prepared for a LOUD environment, either inside or out. The parking lot and its byways are just feet from the patio dining and there was no shortage of obnoxiously loud motorcycles, trucks and muscle cars flowing by non-stop. Inside, not much better due to the big box layout with poor acoustics. You'll be shouting at one another just to be heard during conversation. That's just a personal observation and nothing that warrants a reduction in my 5 star rating. The Keg, by today's norms, is one of the best and judging by the large numbers of people who dine here, my opinion is not alone. Try it.

What an amazing dinner and excellent service. We came tonight and Nate provided excellent service. We started our dinner off with Nachos and the mushrooms Neptune. Both were delish. We then ordered dinner, I had the baseball top sirloin and hubby had the Filet Mignon. We were very happy with our food. We also had dessert the Billy Miner pie and the raspberry cheesecake. We just love this place!

We took our 22 yr old grandson/nephew out for his b-day. The food & service were AWESOME!!!! Our server (Debbie) was awesome and very attentive to all her tables. This is a must return. For our grandson b-day they gave him cake.

The meal started with calamari that was overcooked. The sauces were delicious but it's hard to get past the rubber texture of overcooked calamari. I ordered the Top Sirloin (Medium Rare) and it was cooked to absolute perfection. The cut of steak was more of what I would expect from a fillet mignon. There was some seasoning on it but I really could have used more. The vegetables and mushrooms were cooked exceptionally but yet again there was no seasoning to them. The most flavorful part of my meal was the twice baked potato. My wife had the Keg burger and Keg fries. Once again the burger was cooked to perfection but had no seasoning and tasted like hamburger. The sauce on the burger was excellent. I am not sure what exactly is so special about the fries other than the fact that they had salt on them. I feel that the (approximately) $40 for a steak was absolutely outrageous based on the bland plating and the lack of flavor quality of the dish. Unfortunately I will not be returning as this meal cost too much for what I would consider to be a lower quality meal.

I used to really enjoy The Keg in Gilbert. The past 3 times I have been unimpressed. The service is slow, the staff is not on the same page, the food seems very processed. Our meat seemed like it had soaked in tenderizer for a year. We got the house dessert cake which was said to have been prepared in house daily and it was freezer burned. I do hope they go back to their original business plan. And possibly update their torn and tattered lounge chairs. :(

The staff are amazing, the absolute best. And the filet is excellent, done perfectly. Garlic mashed potatoes are my favorite side item, and I shared the Mac and cheese with my daughter. We go here for special occasions (birthdays, Father's Day, Daughter's Day) because it's a special place. Casual or formal, it's all good. I can't say enough good things about this place, everything is perfect, from the music to the lighting. I absolutely love this place. I almost forgot how awesome the bread and butter is; warm, and right out of the oven

Waiter was great, food was outstanding. We got the Filet Mignon and Top Sirloin both cooked to perfection & the wine was also phenomenal. Definitely will be coming back.

This place has become me and my wife’s favorite steak place. The atmosphere is amazing. The service was absolutely amazing and the food was even better. Get your wallet it’s not cheap, but it’s not too affordable. You can enjoy yourself at a nice price. This is a great place for birthdays anniversaries Special occasions for motions. We loved it. I personally had the salmon with the pistachios on top. It was great. My wife had an amazing steak. It was cooked perfectly. You guys should definitely check this place out if you haven’t already.

It was an expensive dining experience. Only one fish, salmon, was good but not the best. The filet Mignon (medium raw) and lobster. Both cooked and tasted fantastic. The lobster bisque was good. I recommend the mushroom appetizer. The cauliflower appetizer was tasty but not anything special. Great customer service, clean atmosphere, and lovely setting.

Visited on Sunday night. Our waitress was Jessica. She was outstanding at her job. She treated us to a very well attended meal that was exquisite. She checked on us adequately (not too much, not too little). I personally recognize the fact that she seemed to just be herself there and not have any sign of a fake personality. It was very helpful, respectful, and professional. The food was perfect, and the atmosphere was serene. Highly recommended place to dine, but as a heads up, the price is on the higher end, but it was worth it.

Loved the ambiance. Food was good. For starters we had the Neptune mushrooms, I wouldn't have known there was crab in them if I didn't read it. Husband and son ordered Filet Mignon both medium rare, they came out cooked differently. One looked rare (under cooked), the other medium (over cooked). I had the sirloin steak and lobster. My steak was good the lobster a little overcooked. Our server wasn't very attentive at all.

We took my Dad for his 79th birthday and had wonderful food and amazing service. I'm not much of a steak eater, so ordered the pistachio, crusted salmon and absolutely loved it! We had the crabcake appetizer, which we definitely recommend and the crème brûlée for dessert, which my husband had never had and really enjoyed it. Brooke was our server and went above and beyond. 10 out of 10 recommend

My husband and I came here last night for date night. I have been here before. This was my husband's first time. My husband is always apprehensive about going out to steakhouses because if he feels he can cook a better steak, then it's not worth coming to. We both got the Prime Rib. My husband had his paired with the fresh cooked veggies and I had the cauliflower mash. Our steaks were both cooked to medium rare. The flavor wasn't bad. I can't say I've had many chunky horseradish sauce. Maybe it was meant to be chunky. It was hard to not get a over powered bite of horseradish. Where we had our issue was with the knives. We both couldn't cut our steaks. Our waitress was kind enough to find another set of knives, but those too couldn't cut the steaks. I'm fairly certain our butter knives would've cut better lol. For a place that's known for their steaks, you need to have utensils that can do the job. Maybe spend an hour or so sharpening knives within the first part of the day. Other than that, we had a decent dinner.

Open to 10pm on Sunday which is rare! Went out with friends for appetizers and dessert on a Sunday night. The Mocha Ice Cream Pie was quite tasty but the prime rib sliders were a close second if not #1 overall with our group,

Update: The Keg is still doing it great! Went for Arizona Restaurant Week. Outstanding meal and even better service! Always consistently good food and drinks. We came in Christmas Eve just for a drink. Great bartenders and quick service. Cool bar area, perfect spot to unwind.

Servers were friendly and attentive. The food tasted good, but as you can see by the pictures, the temp of the steak wasn’t on point. We both ordered medium steaks but you can clearly see they are not a medium cook. For a steakhouse, you would expect a proper cook.

Yum! First time here and it was a great experience! We sat outdoors when it was 84° and it was comfy! I ordered French onion soup and the garden salad (got ranch instead of the Dijon vinaigrette it came with) and it was so good. Some of the best soup I’ve ever had! Salad was okay, nothing too special, I probably wouldn’t order it again though, just not anything special. Husband got a top sirloin and said it was great! Rated it 7/10. The bread that was served ahead of our meal was 10/10 !
