You are on your own for each and every visit and procedure to find out what your insurance covers. I’d highly recommend never having appointments with the NP (nurse practitioners). My experience has been eye-rolls, sighs and and ever increasing worsening look of constipation. I might as well go visit the local teenager hang outs and tell them my issues-I can’t imagine any worse of a response. If you have a complicated or lengthy medical history: they will overwhelmed and not really be able to deal with it. Now I understand why people take their lives in their hands and go to Mexico

First time coming here and let me say GREAT customer service since you walk in the door. There was a lady greeting, handing out face masks, and helping find where to go. Then once I was at the appointment front desk lady was kind and even though there was a mix up in my appointment they were never rude about it and still saw me. The first person who saw me was Donna and she helped me from the beginning until the end even walking me down to my labs and giving me suggestions on a doctor. Physician Assistant, Nora, who saw me was great, kind, understanding, and I felt validated and taken everything I told her into consideration. I liked it so much I decided to establish with a PCP. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Having not had satisfactory experiences with Village Medical, Banner Health is head and shoulders above the competition. Brand new bright building, great parking, courtesy greeters in the lobby who assist you in finding the right offices, no waiting, excellent email/ text notifications, at least heads up reminders of my appointments through texts. Couldn't ask for a better doctor than Brian Mahoney D.O. who is knowledgeable, warm and friendly and patient with my questions and concerns. One of the few doctors I ever looked forward to seeing.

Dr Pitts as usual was awesome. So glad we found her. The assistant Maritza or possibly Marissa (?) Was really nice as well. Both my nieces (ages 3 & 9) really like them both.

Despite the fact that the medical industry in the United State of America is eroding and the under qualify of many medical professionals it's common knowledge, there is another side of this story that deserve to be said. For a few months now I have been going through a series of test, physical exams some surgeries and evaluations as a preventive measure. Nurses, administrative personnel, specialists’ doctors truly fulfilled my needs in very humane and compassionate way. I wouldn't accept medicine if humanity is not included in it. Healthcare is a universal human right. Banner Health Center plus seems to understand that.

First off, I would like to say that Banner Health Center Plus is a great facility to go to for anything medical wise. All the staff in the building are friendly and very helpful! The Banner Orthopedic Care Team & Department are courteous, helpful, and answer any questions you might have. I want to give a big Thank You & Grateful to Dr. Brewster & Jordan Parkhurst, PA and the Orthopedic Team for everything they have done and helped me with these past 3 months! They are a great team to see for any orthopedic needs. Also, Jordan Parkhurst is an excellent physician! She hears what you have to say and answers any questions you might have in a very caring manner. Overall the Orthopedic Department is always there for you and wants to help you feel better! I would recommend in a heartbeat, 10 out of 10 ⭐️!!!

Dr. Travis Jensen, DPM, is a wonderful and caring doctor. He has performed 2 surgical procedures on my 85 year old Mother. The entire time with her post-op care Dr. Jensen has always treated my Mother with nothing but the highest compassion, dignity and respect. His medical assistant Michelle is also in that category as well. I would not hesitate in highly recommending Dr. Jensen to anyone. Also, this location is fairly new and is really nice and spacious. It is conveniently located immediately off of the Agua Fria Fwy, (101) & 75th Avenue, has plenty of parking and a very nice and helpful reception staff to help guide you on your way. Thank you.

I used to go to Village Medical and I'm not going to go into detail about how much I disliked them, but I LOVE Banner Health Center Plus. I can actually get in same-day for a sick appointment? Everyone is so easy to talk, including the scheduling gals. The facility is clean, everyone is efficient and respectful, and I appreciate the care and attention they put into me. If you are looking to switch to a great provider: this is your sign!

My doctor is wonderful, but Banner is just too big and impersonal for my needs. I have been with my Dr. for years and Banner is a recent change. The phone/answering service needs improving. The huge office is like a cattle call. I'm sure for costs it's better to consolidate with a big company. Unfortunately, this is health care, not a car wash.

I love that you can find everything in one place. I currently have only seen my OB-GYN here (Meghan MacCleary), she is INCREDIBLE and I highly recommend. I cannot remember her assistants name, but she was also so kind and both of them were easy to talk to.

I had outpatient surgery in October of 2021. I paid out of pocket and then it was determined that my injury was work related. Workmans comp insurance also paid the facility, resulting in overpayment. I’ve been told that I’m due a refund, but to date I’ve never received a refund, and every time I’ve called I’ve been told that my refund is under review and that process takes 10 weeks. I’ve repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor and have been told that my request would be referred to “escalation” and a supervisor would call me back. I’ve had the same conversation each time I’ve called, and no one will call me back, nor will they answer any questions regarding the status of my refund…they literally sound like they’re reading a script and just repeat the script when I’ve asked for answers. I’ve really loved my two Banner physicians…but I will never again have another medical procedure at any Banner medial facility. Speak to me with a lack of empathy and like you’re a robot…and then tell me you don’t care about quality customer service…without telling me you don’t care about quality customer service. I guess this is what happens when medical care is a “for profit” industry, you don’t have to answer to your customers and you get to get away with it with no accountability. Surveys to monitor the quality of customer service are a waste of time if you choose to ignore feedback. Surgery done October 2021 and June 2023 and I still can’t get a resolution to a refund, and no response from a single supervisor. I have zero faith that this review will even matter.

Dr. Petersen was an absolute gem!! He wasn’t standoffish or afraid to approach me like so many of this next wave of doctors are. He had great chair side. He even offered to take a look at old ultrasound images taken somewhere else. He spoke to me like a human. He didn’t make me feel crazy. And he never once brought up depression or anxiety. I didn’t leave with a hand full of prescriptions, because he listened! The part that stood out the most was the physical exam. He examined my belly my lungs my ears my throat my neck. Doctors just don’t touch their patients anymore, they treat them like they are a number. But not Dr. Petersen. Good, old school, real heath care. That I haven't experienced in decades. The nurse was so real and funny and communicative. Even my receptionist was in high spirits, but professional and personable. The phlebotomist was a young man who joked about having tiny hands and he didn’t hurt me. He didn’t bring with me, and he was very quick and had amazing chair, side manner. Everybody who came into this facility was treated the same. The only rude ones with the receptionist at the lab. But everything else was so spot on, they didn’t matter. I cannot say enough. I have another appt with another doctor and this same faculty soon and I HOPE she carries on this wonderful culture that I’ve experienced!!

I absolutely love this facility. All of the staff I have met so far have been polite, fast, and understanding. My doctor (Dr. Peterson) takes his time to listen to me and help me find solutions to any problems. I am struggling with mental health and the moment I told him, he came up with a plan. He referred me to therapy and prescribed medication. As well as give me additional resources to help me through this. I truly feel that the doctors and staff here care about their patients. I've never left an appointment with questions unanswered. I've also never felt rushed or disrespected.

My wife and I visited the Banner Health Center Plus on Aspera Blvd, Glendale, AZ, as new patients. The facility was clean and well maintained. We were greeted on entering to determine if we knew where we were going, and given very good directions to checkin. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly and the doctor, Dr. Mahoney, gave every indication he was concerned about us as patients, as well as individuals. I honestly believe we will be happy going there, and have already used the patient portal - easy to use and has all the information we need, as well as a means to communicate directly with our doctor.

Love the new build. Dr. Le and his staff are great and the new building is very easy to get around. Very convenient to get lab work done. plenty of park very close to the entrance.

The staff was efficient and helpful including the lobby staff. Wait times were reasonable although new patient appointments take awhile to schedule. Met with Dr T who listened to my concerns and made knowledgeable suggestions. Very personable. Glad I found this center and Dr. T!

Staff is very nice. Giselle has such a warm welcome, she makes me feel at home. Ashley is awesome, explaining my exercises so I understand how to get them right. Dr Steel explained my medical condition so I understood and I feel confident I am on the road to recovery. Lana helped me check out quickly with a smile!

Great customer service. Clean location. I never seem to have to wait very long for anything. Dr. MacCleary is amazing, I feel she really cares about me. Every time I have to do labs, I don't wait long, they get me in and out. The only weird thing is that my primary care physician is no longer there and I was never notified or offered to change to someone else. I found out when I went to an OB appointment. I am currently still without a primary care physician.

Banner Health Center plus located in Glendale was very easy to get to. It’s a newer facility so it’s nice and clean. In my experience this was one of the best experiences I have had at Healthcare center here in Arizona. So far I’ve been to three banner facilities, and I feel very well cared for in all three that I’ve been to. I’ve been to the one in Sun City, and I’ve been to one in Peoria and this one here in Glendale.

Amazing example of caring! Each person entering the facility is welcomed and offered sanitizer and a mask if needed. The receptionists on the second floor know who I am when I check in and politely ask if there are any changes to my profile. The wait is never excessive to see my doctor, mostly I am seen at my appointment time. My doctor treats me with kindness, respect and attention. The exit staff make future appointments and the payment of my bill easy. I'm very satisfied with the professional care as well as the progressive nature of the Banner Culture.

While attending my doctor visit on 6/19 I had a great experience. From the reception desk to interaction with my doctor everything was seamless and quick. Thier care and concern was evident.

Dr Hoeger is very thorough and helpful despite seeing so many patients a day! I appreciate her thoughtfulness and ability to assist in finding alternative options for my treatment. She has been very helpful sending referrals to help with my other issues. Also, thankful for the office staff working with me scheduling follow ups, referrals, and labs.

I had my first appointment in January 2023 with Dr. John Martin. Dr. John Martin is courteous, respectful, caring, listened to my concerns and questions, explaining things to me that I was easy to understand. I decided to have Dr. John Martin as my PCP. If you’re looking for a PCP that has the values that I stated, I highly recommend to make an appointment with Dr. John Martin. My stress level was a 10 and at the end of my appointment with Dr. John Martin my stress level went to zero

I have been undergoing a physical check ups for all areas that were needed. All were addressed and I received the proper appointments for my needs. I met with and was able to finally complete and update my health checkups. Everyone was kind, listened and help me meet my health goals, tests, etc.

Nothing but professionals here. I did want to give my best compliments to Gynecologist Dr Mohammad Islam for being so awesome. The same goes for their very friendly medical assistant, she was so sweet and compassionate. Awesome team! I recommend them.

My Doctor, Travis Jensen, is awesome. Best podiatrist I’ve been too. He was very thorough about what needed to be done and I feel like I’m in good hands with him and his staff. Michelle his MA is awesome and very professional and on top of things. Banner Health Center opening was the best thing for Peoria!!! I really appreciated how they handled everyone upon entering. They respect Covid guidelines all the way!!!!

From the moment I called to book an appointment here I was greeted with friendly service. Was very easy to book and I was surprised at how quickly we could get an appointment. The front desk staff at check in and check out were amazing. Nice conversations and I could tell they really cared about providing excellent customer service. The RN we saw was very sweet. Dr. Sarmiento was awesome! He listened and answered all of our questions. Flawless visit from start to finish! Not to mention the facility was beautiful and clean!!

I was scheduled incorrectly by central scheduling twice this week. I arrived at the second appt given and was told my appt was for three months out. I was truly concerned about my possible condition and the patient access rep understood. She could have easily turned me away and went about her day however, that’s not what she chose to do. The patient access rep went and spoke to the doctor explained the situation and was able to get me in the very next day. In the world of patient access we are usually unappreciated and looked at as unimportant. Truth be told this patient access rep changed my world that day. I wanted to cry and give up but she went above and beyond for me and changed my view of Banner as an organization completely. Know that what you do makes a difference and without people like you patients would suffer. Thank you thank you for all you did to make a difference in my world!

My ortho doctor recommended Dr Jensen and I am so glad he did! Dr Jensen is a Podiatrist and Surgeon. He is Both professional and an extremely kind and caring man. He came up with a treatment plan for a issue I was having with my foot and ankle, resulting from a sprain. My foot is better already. My sister and husband have both made appointments with him.

Dr. MacCleary has genuine empathy for her patients which is important to me. She also took the time to discuss issues that other physicians are addressing and I like her team approach to my overall care. Highly recommend her!!

I have been to this facility several times since the first of this year. I like that they have lots of parking and ladies just inside the front that ask you if they can direct you to where you need to go within the bldg. The staff is very polite and professional ,as are the medical assistants and doctors.

The aspera location, imaging, is really going the extra mile to show customer service. short wait. Very knowledgeable and friendly. easily provided my scans on disk within two hours, following my request, in order for me to take to a specialist. Thank you.

The facilities were clean and most all the staff was nice. My major critique is that the doctor was so rushed that he acted like it was a huge inconvenience for me to be there. My case was pretty simple (I needed referrals from him for other specialists and a couple of immunizations), and yet even so he made me feel unimportant and like I was a nuisance. I’m sure he’s probably an okay doctor, but I was super unimpressed.
