Horrible pet store who does not care for animals. They are willing to let a sick ferret die in their care instead of getting it help. I would watch any animal from them as Im sure more , have health issues. They do not deserve even the single star

Nice pet store. We stopped here while visiting family in Arizona and loved it! Lots of products and animals and the staff were all very kind, letting me hold and show my two year old daughter bunnies and baby chick's. If I were a permanent resident this would be my go to place!

I was quoted a price for a vaccine over the phone that was NOT honored in the store. They charged me $2.00 extra and were going to charge me $4.00. I had called and been given the cost twice, once just yesterday, but could not remember if I talked to a woman or man. I could show them my call history and yet they still charged me a higher amount. I had driven over 20miles roundtrip to get the vaccine at a price I could afford. NORMALLY a few dollars would not matter to most folks, however, I am 100% disabled with a Service Dog and extremely limited funds so I have to plan for every expenditure. To say the least, I was really disappointed. There was a young man on the floor taking care of the reptiles and animals who was extremely nice and informative about the animals and it was obvious he truly enjoyed working with them. He was extraordinary. If you call to get ANY price quotes get the persons name and then perhaps they will honor it. In all probability I would not return here to shop.

Pratt’s Pet in Glendale is a great store. Their employees are always so happy and helpful. I love that I don’t have to carry my big bags of dog food out to the car. They always seem to have the answer for my questions and they have great prices. I will definitely be back.

So I came here to buy a cage for a bird I was getting off craigslist and upon seeing they had tons of birds I fell in love with a whiteface cockatiel and two days later went for him. First and foremost let me say this. My family owns a farm, I grew up on farms, I have raised several flocks of chickens but where my heart really lies is with the ducks. I raised them and bred them. I had did so much researching on their appetite, behavior, their breeds, their living environment, how to treat them when they are sick, and have had to hand raise several babies myself. Its one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. We can't just love animals to keep them well and safe we must educate ourselves on their best well being. That being said these poor ducks had zero food or water. I mentioned it to three workers while I was there one of which, Omar, told me "baby ducks don't really need much water they don't drink it they just play with it." I was speechless. Baby ducks not needing water? Well Omar let me educate you a bit since you care more about selling birds then caring for them that all ducks including babies NEED WATER TO SWALLOW FOOD. They simultaneously drink as they eat because of this fact and in most cases feed is set on top or along side of water for this reason. Yes babies are prone to drowning so a waterer is fine for the stage you guys have them at but it was empty and so was their food and they were eating bedding from the waterer trying to get just a drop. I went ahead and filled it myself at your water fountain 10 steps away from where they're kept. And the baby chick's piled ontop one another also with no food many injured and one was being picked at by the rest because it had an open wound. I now live in an apartment otherwise I would have bought that little chicken myself. I have video and pics but haven't figured out how to upload them yet. Do better pratts. Update: here's a video I took, it shortened it to 30 seconds and cuts off where you hear me say the water the ducks were drinking in the video Is the water I provided them. Its quick but they were all just trying to get the last bit of food out the bottom of all their feeders it was so sad. By reading previous negative reviews im expecting a defensive and condensending response from the owner, but I could careless. I care way more about neglected animals than I do about hurting peoples feelings.

Starting to hate this place. Dog treats over priced and always bad or moldy so you have to be cautious. I think it's safe to say this last time was my last time shopping there. Thanks but no thanks. Also the workers cuss like it's ok around customers and over charged me 3 times. I am good!

Customer appreciation day was great yesterday. Lots of good deals for all kinds of animals. All the staff were very helpful. My only issue is the lack of parking at the Glendale store especially on this day when so many customers were there.

I got this bunny Sunday I notice he was sneezing a lot Monday came and saw white stuff in his nose took him to the vet and was told him was sick before we got him the vet was asking more money for medicines and I took him back to this store asking to help and all they offer was 50 dollars not even for the vet cost . I had no other choice to give him back and I pray you people take him to get the help he needs he was only 2-3 months . You selling sick animals to people. And not to say we got other rabbits at home he could have got the sick as well ! This is so sad I wish this store could close down !

My mom neighbor and I found an only one rooster we were looking for, for over a year. We saw him just by himself in his cage with the price written on a slip of paper at the front. I quickly went to the registers and told the young cashier that we wanted it. An employee that was very friendly went and got it out of the cage and got it for us. We went soon after to pay for it and a supervisor came over and said another customer had asked for it first. So the cashier had to cancel the transaction. You see another customer was looking at the rooster the same time we were there. I'm guessing he found another employee without having to go to the registers. I believe we should have have a chance to get it since we had the paper work first. I'm guessing the other customer were buying several docks and maybe were given favoritism or who knows 🤔

I love this store but I saw one of the staffs grabbing a rat I think, by the tail! And one time I got three chicks and one died by sickness 😭. But I love this store but they never have big hens just roosters? But over all great care but STOP GRABBING RATS BY THE TAIL. Better than Petco.

This place has the worst customer service. The parking lot is terrible. No one pays attention. We went in and couldn't find our dog food that we had previously purchased and the lady said to us. "Where would it be at ? Do you see it?" We stated we didn't which is why we're asking. She then said "If you dont see it we don't have it." Wow is I can say. We will go back to our old store in El Mirage. They know how to treat customers. This was even our second time here after our first experience was about as pleasant as this one.

Awesome place, just gets VERY ANNOYING when the employees here don’t know what’s on the clearance rack. Please start advising them what’s on the rack, because when I told the girl daisy about “checking the clearance rack” She replied “I don’t get paid to do that” 🤦‍♀️

Nice and knowledgeable staff! Lots of essential products for various pet animals, highly recommend going here first before hitting up a big-brand store. I shop here for my dogs and pet snake as often as possible, the money that I saved kept me from despair during this last holiday season.

Very friendly staff. Was fun for our son to see all the animals. Came here instead of paying for a petting zoo! Definitely will make a trip back when we are ready for a reptile or amphibian friend

Love his amazing pet shop. Have been going for many years now and currently grooming my Bichon baby and he's so cute in his new cut so I want to maintain it and picked up some supplies for him, the store is so neat and so much fun to look through inside. So many products to choose from but of course I bought what's best for my dog and they helped us to it. Thank you so much

I love this store. It starts with the best groomer. We used to live nearby. My dogs look like show dogs when he done. He doesn't shave them down he uses scissors. The service is great and I can't really say enough nice things about them. Try them out

Most accommodating!! Got everything I needed with a smile! Assisted to my vehicle and placed my goods inside. I've been a long term customer because of all the good things they avail; just don't need them every day. Great place, great customer service.

I love this place.....it's a smaller version of petsmart. They have everything from all sorts of pets, feed, supplies and a bunch of product to satisfy all your pets needs! The people are very friendly and helpful. It's gets a little packed at times but it's for a good reason! The only thing is the parking lot is tiny! I have a big truck and it was difficult trying to park and also leaving. But this place is awesome!
