Excellent Sicilian pizza

For the last lunch of my holiday in Trapani, I and my wife found this place. We had the best culinary experience we could wish and more. The front house staff welcomed us with a big smile introducing us in their well maintained and tipical restaurant. We were served by the very friendly Nicola whom passion about food lead us to their amazing fish menu. Everything was delicious and the generous portions were prepared by a very well prepared and educated staff. After a perfect lunch we had the opportunity to talk to the owner and he explained us a bit about the food we had. I felt part of their family. A special thanks to Nicola to have done the extra (1000) miles and make us want to go back there!

Amazing!! So wonderful and fresh. The homemade pasta is to die for. The service is terrific and Nicola was terrific inviting us to try the best of the local food. Awesome fish! Highly recommended!!

The place is very cozy and has a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy an amazing food. We have ordered the fish menu and it could not be more delicious! The staff is also very friendly and are always available to assist in everything you need. Highly recommended!

Good local familly restaurant. Open during lunch time - important. We recommend insalada di polpo and busiata trapanese. Local taste in best way and good price.

Very good food, delicious pizza. There was only one waiter for the whole area but it was okay I would say. The restaurant is a little bit pricey but the food was great.

This was our first time visiting Sicily from the USA. Afterwards we visited Rome. Considering all my dining experiences in Italy, I can safely say La Tavernetta was the best. I highly recommend lunch.

Great food and friendly atmosphere. Very popular with the locals, which is always the best recommendation. One of very few restaurants in Trapani where you can eat a very good pizza and great sea food pasta in the same place. We highly recommend it.

The owner and staff are super friendly and eager to make you happy. They were able to cater to my mom who is vegetarian. The food is out of this world. Best Sicilian food I’ve had to date.

Arrived from Castellamare del Golfo on a Sunday (!) and found this little gem to be open for lunch (restaurant menu - no pizza). Spent 2 hours waiting to check in at our apartement. Great food and very kind service. Not heaven, but close!

A very traditional Sicilian trattoria. Friendly atmosphere, big portions and very tasty food. Nice place to pass by if your are looking for authenticity. Just be prepared for a slow relaxed service, probably the Italian way. (Maybe too much salt in the dishes for my taste, but this is a personal note🙂)
