Despite the central and very convenient location, this place is terrible. This is due to the many moods of the front desk staff, ranging from rude to surly to indifferent to scowling. They are more often in the staff toilet or playing with their smart phones than on the front desk. If you ask for help, they will do their best to avoid eye contact and deny your request. We had to remind them to give the welcome drink that comes with AClub status, and they gave us a choice of Coke or Sprite only!

The room smelled like storage, and the window was filthy. The room wasn't cleaned or even opened for some air circulation beforehand. The bed covers were dirty and had holes in them. There were NO toiletries whatsoever. No toothpaste, no soap, no shampoo, no nothing, and the dispensers weren't functional. No flipflops to walk around the room with. The hotel was very well decorated and had a fancy outlook in the waiting areas and the restaurant and reception, but that's pointless if you're not providing the basics to your customer. When I pay almost $80 for one night for two adults, I expect the basic toiletries to be provided, I shouldn't have to buy them from outside, or to even ask for them to be put in my room. The guys at the reception looked like they hated their jobs, there was no eye contact or a smile on their faces, and they just wanted to get it over with. Maybe you should treat your receptionists better so that they can provide better customer support. The only good thing about this hotel was its closeness to the train station. But everything else sucked.

This is honestly the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at, the rooms are dirty, the beds are filthy and the bathroom had an uncomfortable odor. The staff are rude and we were told at night that we had to switch rooms, they refused to tell us why. If you plan on communicating in English with the staff, you need to consider another hotel as they don't have the necessary language skills to communicate in English. I also wanted to make a complaint about a member of the staff for the way I was treated and he refused to give me his name. The only positive about this hotel is it's decent location, however, there are several other hotels really close by to consider and I wish that I had picked another one. A few tips for you guys that still decide to book this hotel despite all of the above is to not use the taxis in front of the hotel as they try their very best to rip you off, there are more taxis around the corner by the Casa Port train station, use those instead. If you are able to skip the hotel breakfast, you should do so, the selection is poor and the food tastes really bland, they also water down the juice. There are some nicer places to have breakfast around the corner at the Casa Port train station.

The rooms aren't clean enough. When we went to dinner, there was not a buffet, even if in our booking was included. The waiter try to tell us that wasn't people enough to do a buffet. So they made chicken and french fries to everyone. The food was not bad. But there was not desert. Another thing, and for the most incredible of this nightmare, was that any waitress in the room doesn't speak english we had to call the receptionist... That, in my opinion is a large mistake for people who works in hotel, mainly if it is directly with the client. Me and my family aren't satisfied with this.

19 june 13h.I asked for a beer. Waiter said that they dont serve client without room for Hotel client security!? I tried to understand the argument but nothing clear. Finally after after my indignation he decided to serve me. As he explained that he will make an exception for me. I don't accept or course.very bad behavior. Really disgusting and horrible service.

We planned to say two nights but we only stayed one because rooms were too warm and when we opened windows, the construction noise was too loud. Also, allowing smoking at the bar is not good. We could not breath fresh air. I cannot believe you allow people to smoke indoors. It is so bad for everyone's health. The front desk customer service was excellent and the baggage carriers were outstanding.

Some aspects of the rooms are a bit old and need to be replaced , the rooms have no good view , the staff is grumpy , the breakfast is not as good as other ibis hotels , and the only good thing about this hotel is the location ..

+ Location is good in city center , opposite to train station that takes to Ribat and other close by cities. Opposite to the medina, old city. Bar staff are friendly. - room narrow and smells humidity, reception staff are unfriendly. Breakfast is average, Repetitive, same menu for 15 days of stay.

I had a very unpleasant stay at your hotel. Except the receptionist ( beard one) and location, there was nothing great about the hotel. I am surprised how IBIS has this hotel as a franchise as considering ibis the quality is really poor. 1)The room was cold, heating wasn't working 2)The pillows were I don't know what...no firmness, the foaming seemed to be missing from the middle in both the pillows 3) casa port train stating is right opposite and considering this, there was no noise insulation in the windows, there was so much noise I felt I was sleeping on the road 4) food served in the restaurant ( salmon) was cold and I had to ask the waiter to get it warmed 5) boiled eggs in morning buffet was as cold as ice 6) the door of my room (802) was getting stuck 7) i wanted to use my reward points but it didn't work Hope you learn from this feedback and take action.

I was expecting this hotel to be at the same level of other Ibis I have stayed in before in other countries. There is no bottled water to drink, no refrigerator, no iron, no kettle and no safe in the room. Room was average size and clean . There was parking. The view was beautiful.

The most horrible place I could’ve stayed. What a mistake! Poor service rude and unfriendly staff. They shut and scream and give dirty look to the customer. Looks like we are their slaves. Horrible front desk people. It’s not clean! Very strong bad smell every where. If you want waste your money there is a better way to do it.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Service is pathetic and staff rude. Most of the time they don't lift the call. They charge for basic like even water. People coming be prepared to pay extra.

DO NOT GO TO IBIS CENTRAL!!! The manager tricked us with breakfast fee. Website and room specified a lower price but the reception charged us more. Manager didnt want to explain too. Room is very small and smells bad. Bad experience overall not worth your money being treated like this.

A terribly unpleasant experience. During check-in, the front desk asked me to wait on the side while they located a room for us, clearly indicating a lack of hotel preparedness. The worst part was when we opened the toilet door, a musty smell overwhelmed us. Despite opening the window and door for ventilation, the intense odor persisted. This was my first encounter with a toilet lacking a ventilation system. On the third day, upon leaving the hotel, the odor remained strong. During check-out, the staff took the key card without lifting their head, engrossed in computer work, and only managed a brief “all set” after a while. An overall dreadful stay. If you can’t tolerate unpleasant odors, I would not recommend staying here.

Typical Ibis Hotel -- always clean and inviting with great mattresses on the bed! No surprises. Wonderful staff. Good breakfast buffet! Everything in the room worked and there was plenty of hot water.

I booked twice there, the first time we were on the 3rd floor, all perfect. The second time there, we were on the 15th floor, a disaster. TV not working, shower broken, cracks all over the bathroom. Clearly, not worth the price. But overall it was good.

This ibis has a great location next to the train station, the room was not disappointing; however, the front desk customer service man is rude towards customers during check-in. If this improves, this place could be much more enjoyable specially when you need help or need to do changes.

This hotel is great for a few nights in Casablanca. You are close to the medina and a good shopping mall, Marina Mall (10-min walk). You can also go behind the mall and walk along the promenade by the sea to the great mosque. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The trains go to Rabat and Tangier as well as coastal towns from the train station opposite the hotel. For Marrakesh/Fes you need to use Casa Voyageurs station. There is also an upscale restaurant, Rick’s Cafe, which has a nice atmosphere and good food opposite the mall. Hotel staff were fine. Recommended.

"Our week at Ibis Casablanca Hotel was truly wonderful. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I want to extend my appreciation to the hotel's reception team, who were always ready to assist whenever I reached out. The restaurant staff were equally exceptional. All in all, our stay left us with unforgettable memories."

Convenient location. Car parking is free and accommodates a few cars. Check-in was quick and smooth. Receptionist was friendly. The room was average size and clean. It lacks the basic requirements I am expecting in Ibis hotels. No minibar or bottled water. No fridge. No iron. No safe. I was emailing the hotel weeks before our arrival, but I didn't get any reply from them. I do recommend the hotel, but be prepared for surprises.

I believe it's a great location for tourists staying. I only had one night experience. I like the breakfast. But I don't know if two-bed room with no distance between two bed is common in Morocco🤣.

Checkin difficult, breakfast mediocre, no hot water need to run shower for 10 minutes, hotel is linked with taxi mafia so rates very expensive to go to airport , constant noise and construction, no shampoo or soap, save money and stay elsewhere. Promised but did not receive anniversary gift on arrival. The worst hotel we ever stayed at.

5 stars for the staff and accommodations at Ibis. The hotel is located in a central area, easy access to the rest of the city. The rooms were clean with all necessary amenities. We were especially thankful for the staff here who went out of their way to provide extra services for our group. Recommend this hotel!

I was a guest at this hotel for almost 2 weeks having planned to stay initially for only a couple days! I think this explains a lot. It is the best IBIS that I've stayed inside in Morocco. Mainly because of the warm & attentive staff their flexibility & ability to attend to guest requests. I have a feeling that this hotel may be a Ibis franchise hotel because it was a Ibis but had it's own distinctiveness which made it extra special! The rooms were modern, many actually in the process of being newly renovated during my stay and the establishment is central opposite Casablanca Gare (train station). Thanks to Murat, King Yunis, Samira & everyone at breakfast/restaurant as well as Amal & Monia for turning over my room when requested. Everyone was extremely professional. 5star at a 3star price!! I hope to return to Ibis Hotel Casablanca Centre again very soon👋

Prime location, friendly bar and security staff (especially the parking guard was a really good guy). Remember to tip the parking guard, as he works long hours for relatively low pay. Tip 10 or 20, and you make his day.

Arrogant receptionist( he only stopped being rude after he saw that I had the ibis gold card) not properly cleaned rooms and toilets. I found someone's hair in the toilet and they never cleaned it during room service. Had to clean it myself. Expensive food. I don't recommend

I was check in smoothly by the receptionist staff his name is mourad. The staff was professional and has more knowledge in dealing with customer. I consider him as reference during my stay. So when the next shift came. I continiously received the excellent treatment as well from another receptionist named younes. Actualy i find all the ibis team wonderful. And willing to assist you at any time. Good job. I will come again in better days.

One of the badest hotels in the city ,the food is not representing Morocco, kind of dirty hotel, even I payed for 10 nights, spent only 4 , they refused to give me a refund for my 6 whole nights) , well I can’t recommend nobody to spend the vacation or his her business trip there ...

I cannot count the number of nights I've spent in this hotel. As a business traveller I spent , for several years, 3 to 4 nights every week in this hotel and I have never been disappointed during one of these many stays. The beds are outstanding, the rooms are quiet and very clean, the breakfast offering is more than adequate and the location is ideal for me, at the crossing of several important train sations lines. And very important: the service is very correct, always with a smile. In other words, I can only give a very positive advise about this hotel.

Location is good, and was able to check-in a couple hours early so bonus 1/2 star for that. Very average room with a slightly damp smell; nothing was broken but chips and careless repairs could be seen. Breakfast was okay. For the price and location it served my purpose for one night.

Not sure if the bad reviews aren’t familiar with the budget-nature of Ibis, but I had a good and predictable stay (exactly what I ordered). Plus points for having a great shower set up that optimised the space and had hot water (important to mention, apparently).

This is a budget hotel. They provide breakfast (included in booking) which is as good as brunch with a variety of foods on the table. They maintain hygiene and rooms cleaned and linens changed everyday.

Right opposite casa port station, great location, close to many good restaurants. Nice place to stay in.

  • 1/5 Patrícia S. 3 months ago on Google • 1 review New
Despite being renovated, the hotel does not deserve the 3* rating. Terrible cleaning of the rooms, including dirty towels, very poor breakfast, no food on offer. The only positive thing is the location of the hotel near Casa Port Gare.
