Cozy rooms. But definitely not a four star hotel. Breakfast is of poor quality and lacks everything. No water no juice no fruits no vegetables. No room for exercising. Not even a toilet brush. Update: due to comment from hotel below. The hotel comment is just absurd. It is a complete lie from the start to finish. The mentioned travel agency was not used. I also have no idea how they would have identified me, as I did not perform the booking myself. Also there was never any request for second breakfast. To me the below is really just one big obscene lie to distract from a negative comment, which lead me to further reduce my rating.

The hotel was paced in a part of Casablanca that kind of got you away from a lot of the hustle in the city, which I think is helpful for foreigners or visitors visiting the area to not feel overwhelmed in taking in the sights of Morocco. I will say the staff has been extremely helpful with the tour group I was with in being very accommodating to special needs, etc. From getting our luggage into the hotel to having breakfast meals ready for when we would have to leave early for our morning flight, the place was great and the staff was friendly.

Myself and my two friends had an amazing stay at this hotel. The reception was extremely helpful, kind and very welcoming. The rooms were clean, nicely laid out, free toiletries and the whole hotel itself smelt like a spa. The breakfast was lovely with delicious pastries, fresh orange juice and other breakfast options. The doormen were very helpful and even helped us source a taxi to take us back to the airport. I will go back if I stay in Casablanca again and I wish I could give the hotel more stars. Thank you staff at Oddessey!

If you want a room with a bed, shower (may or may not have towels), and a breakfast buffet, this hotel offers those things. It is safe and close to tourist attractions. Do not make the mistake of expecting hotel services here. The front desk staff cannot answer any questions about sights, make arrangements, or even call a taxi. The bar staff is rude and never at their post. No one can make change, print a receipt, or pick up laundry. Room key never works. Housekeeping is intermittent and takes all soap one day, all towels the next, without replacing them. As long as you can cope with no services, hotel provides the basics.

Comfortable, fairly quiet rooms in dirty older part of downtown. Poor upkeep, burned out light bulbs, no maintenance service. Though only blocks from the medina.

From the moment we arrived at Odyssee Boutique Hotel, Casablanca we were greeted by warm friendly staff at the door, reception and administration. Mustapho (Front of Management) leads his team well. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he attended to special requests personally. The hotel even stored our luggage, arranged transfers to the airport and allowed us a very late check out on the day of our flight. The hotel is in a great location, not far from must see landmarks. The rooms are a good size, the are beds comfortable with soft welcoming pillows. They are well maintained and thoroughly cleaned each day. Breakfast catered for a range of tastes and was well presented. We loved being able to join staff and fellow guests during the FIFA competition while enjoying a drink at the bar. We would highly recommend fellow travellers to stay at Odessee Boutique Hotel. A home away from home :)

Couldn’t find our reservation at first. They didn’t have the room we payed for when we checked in, which was a junior suite and put us in a different smaller room. Then when we asked about it they said we already got a good price. We asked about change for our money and told us to go to an exchange. We asked about a taxi told us to go a couple streets to grab it. Just overall not willing to actually offer substantial help.

Overall, the hotel is exactly what we expected and wanted. It’s a 10 minute walk to the main train station, there are many restaurants in the area, and the service is fine. The room is a little small, but the bed was very comfortable. There is a bar in the hotel, which we did not try. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if it’s within your budget.

Fine for a budget hotel. The bed was comfy, location okay (we had a car), and breakfast buffet well stocked. The bathroom in our room was dated and the ceiling bubbling/mouldy above the shower. Not nice. Front desk were friendly. There’s a smell of cigarettes constantly in the lobby which was a bit off putting.

The modern stylish hotel is ideally located on a quiet street within a short distance to the Medina. The rooms are well appointed with quality toiletries. The bed is comfortable and the room air kept the room. Common areas are bright and open. Restaurant in the lobby with a bar. The staff and very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is well done and good staff and is located on 1st floor. Daily housekeeping. Rooms have safes.

I was very glad to have switched my reservation at the Best Western to the Odysee. The location is great. It's a block away from the medina entrance and also very close to the Casa Port train station (less than 10 minutes walking), where you can take the train to and from the airport. The hotel itself is great. Some reviewers complained about the breakfast buffet, but I thought they had quite a few options. The food was good, too. Service was incredible, from the doorbell to reception and people at the restaurant (extra mention to Mustapha). As soon as we got there, they upgraded us to a nice suite. Large, with working AC, clean and full of amenities. The hotel looked like one of those funny, modern hipster places in New York. Lots of good humour. I'd definitely go back there.

It's a brillant location. Surrounded by "famous hotels" we have seen over and over. It's lovely to arrive here. Odyssee hotel has an urban international style that makes you feel younger and dynamic! I loved every bits of it. Breakfast is good and tasty! Casablanca is moving forward and this hotel has taken a large advance!

What can I, this Hotel is outstanding. Rooms are clean, front office staff are so wonderful, professional and are always willing to help for anything. The front office manager Mustapha is a blessing to the hotel and always welcoming with a wonderful smile. Amenities are great, location is great many restaurants and small grocery shops nearby. This hotel has really surprised me and as a Gold member of numerous hotel chains this hotel has won my heart and will always make it my base in Casablanca.

All together we highly recommend the stay in the hotel. Location is very good, service is quite good, they do try their best but can improve (at the bar we were told one price for cakes from restaurant, but charged quite more). Upon arrival we got a nice big room with double bed that was not what we booked ( we paid for deluxe twin room) and we didn’t realise that until it was a bedtime. The next morning we explained the issues and got amazing suite instead. So we were quite happy with that. Very important to mention that the hotel has well organised transfer from airport, honest price and something we are really great full for. The driver did amazing job.

Hotel has a great location, good bed for sleep, breakfast good and WiFi was working also good. The hotel is located only 10 minutes from train station Casa Port which I highly recommend going from the airport. My room had ok size but was not super clean and the view was bad but I did not ask to change at the reception because I was all day away but please improve the cleanliness and refresh the room a bit. Thank you

Comfortable and great location for a hotel. Smooth checkin/checkout, very comfortable and relatively large hotel room. Very helpful staff (front desk, maintenance and restaurant), this makes Casablanca more adaptable. Close to airport tram, Casa Port train station, supermarket and bus to landmarks - city is super walkable also.

I usually do not write a bad review but this time I did. It is very awful place ... 1. The room stink 2. Very rude staff 3. Scam for extra money( extra tax) 4. Give you the cheap room even if you pay for higher Avoid this hotel ... This my best advice

The pros: The housekeeping staff was amazing- I can’t praise them enough. The location is good and Casa Port train station is a ten minute walk away. My room on the 6th floor was clean and quiet. The shower in my bathroom always provided hot water with decent water pressure. The heat and AC in my room were easy to control. The cons: So many cons. I feel the male receptionists working at the hotel were hostel and possibly in cahoots with Moroccan citizens to to scam and con unsuspecting travelers I feel that the receptionists didn’t listen to my concerns and rushed me out of their presence. I felt unwelcome by both the receptionist and bell hop and this hotel. The bell hood don’t ask if you would like help and just grab your bags - you have to command the them to stop. The people who work here allow the taxi drivers to harras patrons at the hotel and encourage their behavior.I wouldn’t recommend anyone’s stay at this hotel. You can get more professional service and another location.

This hotel was a very enjoyable stay with great cleaning staff. Always made sure the rooms were in great condition and neat and tidy. The rooms were of good size and the AC was much appreciated. Special mention goes to Wadie at reception. He made sure we were comfortable, kept reassuring us and offering assistance in any way he could. Exceptional professional service delivered by him, always willing to go the extra mile with a smile on his face. Very impressive indeed. An invaluable member of staff indeed.

The hotel was fine, though a bit weird and trying to hide a lack of cleanliness. The largest complaint is we were specifically told breakfast was included when we checked in. Others were told the same, and had eaten breakfast for free for several days prior. When we went to breakfast, however, they asked us to pay for it AT THE END. Which wouldn't have been so bad, if it were good, or cheap, but since it was quite expensive and not even hot food, it didn't sit right. When we complained to the front desk they acted confused and said our reservation said no included breakfast. Why did you tell us it was included then? Overall I wouldn't stay here again, plenty of great hotels in the area that aren't going to scam us.

This is a very good option for staying close to the Casablanca attractions and restaurants. The room was wonderful, spacious bathrooms and clean. Staff was courteous and helped arrange for a taxi to the airport at a fair price. Breakfast was quite decent.

I was definitely disappointed at this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experience I and my spouse ever experienced as travelers. The only thingsl nice about the hotel was the location. First of, on their website they advertise they have 2 resturants and a full bar. However, upon arrival they only have 1 resturant for buffet (midocre and same everyday)and their second resturant has been closed since COVID as stated by staff. Also, in the bar they have bottles of alcohol on the shelves but have NO alcohol. So what is the point of having empty bottles?? Upon check in, we were told to wait for our room to be ready, once ready the door man came to pick up our luggage and moved towards the elevators. No communication from front desk about what room number, breakfast times or any info. When I asked him about the times for breakfast he seemed irritated. When you walked into the hotel, at first glance it looked nice at the entrance which is such a facade because our rooms were nasty. It looked like "molds" on the ceiling, the bathtub and shower heads were disgusting, bathtub was not flowing so the water will sit and drain slowly **see photos**. When my spouse asked for tea at the front desk he said "you can go outside if you want tea". The menus in the rooms were not updated as they did not serve most of the meals. Our room phone was not working so for EVERY request we had to go downstairs. We asked them twice and no one ever came to fix it! This was the worst experience, I will never go back and highly do not recommend.

One of the staff by the name of Medhi was very friendly and will go all out to assist you. We arrived before noon but very tried after a long flight, and Medhi helped us checked in so that our rooms can be made earlier for us to refresh ourselves. Thumbs up to the staff for the superb service.

This place was great and a great value - far nicer than expected. It also has an amazing bartender (Amine Ghazala) who is as entertaining as he is kind and polite. I would definitely recommend!

My stay was enjoyable. The Hotel 🏨 location is really excellent since it is among many services like restaurants, pharmacies, shops and taxi vehicles , itc. About 10 minutes to the train terminal by taxi. The hotel is very clean whether its rooms, restaurants or other facilities. The staff are very cooperative and welcome to its guests, specially the hotel management like Mr. Mahdi and others.

Very poor experience , and very poor management and service for a 4 stars hotel and negative energy everywhere they will find a way to mess up your day. They put a fine of 200 dh stating that we wrote with a pen 🖊️ on the pillow . Who says that ! They need to be more creative to collect money!I will never go back and my colleagues as well.

I booked this hotel nice beautiful staff friendly clean I loved people in the entrance specially a gentlel man his age look like he is 50 or more so nice so cute Recep people friendly as well the only issue that I had is with the manager that he charged me £100 for a bottle of wine that I opened it wrong and affect the ruff of the room, the gentil man forgot that I paid the price of the room with insurance anything about the maintenance it is the maintenance duty what he charged me unfortunately its a roberie.

Good things: Very near to Medina and tram service, courteous staff, good breakfast. Not so good things: air quality in rooms, you can hear late night music from second floor due to probably a bar or a club nearby. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This is a comfortable place to stay in an excellent location. We really liked the on site bar and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel breakfast was perhaps the best that we encountered on our 18 night trip around Morocco and was definitely well worth the money. Bed was comfortable and rooms relatively quiet. We loved the location which was easy walking distance to the central market and the medina and gave easy access to the tram lines and Casa Port train station. Disliked · The shower over the bath was a little bit challenging. It has steep sides and could be slippery so I would not recommend our room type for anyone with mobility issues. The shower also ran a bit hot and cold at times but it wasn't too bad.

Super nice and arty hotel in downtown Casablanca. Spacious and nicely decorated rooms and also very quiet, ideal if you want to take a break from the hectic city. The location is ideal if you want to discover Casablanca or for a stop on your way to discover the rest of the country since very close to train and bus station.

I had booked 2 nights for 6 people (3 double room). And i paid for the two nights and because the air-conditioning wasn't functional and the water was colored and the room was Stinky, the clients told me that they want to change the hotel. Of course I had too specially the hotel service was terrible. I called the guys there at the reception and told them that i want them to pay me back for the second night (they have free cancelation) they told we have to wait for someone at the administration to come the next day. I was waiting for them to solve the problem but they said we will not pay you back. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THIEFS. they're are other beautiful and good service hotels in Casablanca. DO NOT GO TO ODYSSEY CASABLNCA

  • 5/5 Charles D. 1 year ago on Google
I'm so glad that I stumbled across the Odyssee. Travelling to Casablanca was a last minute decision, and I booked my initial night at the first hotel I came across on Expedia, figuring that I would do more research and find the 'right' hotel for the rest of my visit once I arrived and had time to do more research. It turns out that no further searching was required. From the warm welcome I received upon my initial arrival, and the continued excellent service and attention I encountered for the duration of my stay, I felt home at the Odyssee. The entire staff, from the kind and friendly gentlemen at the front door, to the housekeeping crew and the nice guys that tended the bar, were great. And the front desk staff were lifesavers, helping me do everything from arrange taxis to providing detailed recommendations and advice on where to go the rest of my time in Morocco. I'd like to call special attention to Osama and Mehdi, both of whom took me under their wing and went out of their way to check on me often to make sure that I had everything I needed. The hotel and rooms were also quite nice... Stylish and modern, clean and comfortable. The service, however, is the aspect of the Odyssee that will stick with me, and will be the reason that I will most certainly stay there again.

Room comfort, shower, bed and cleaning are 5 starts. Dinner and breakfast is below average. We came in group tour for overnight stay so as far as price and walking distance attraction - no comments. Hotel service is excellent

We had a beautiful time in the odyssee hotel, it is a funky cool and fun hotel with lots of creative ideas inside. Our first room was a bit dirty and some of the electricity didnt work, so the next day we got an upgrade to a suite and it was fantastic! It was huge with a king size bed, big lounge area and a huge bathroom. The service was always very friendly and the hotel is located super central in casablanca.

A good hotel, centrally located in Casablanca. It is a block away from the CTM bus station (which is great, as my next stop was to Chefchaouen direct by bus, since I didn’t want to go to Tangiers first). It is about a half an hour walk from the Hassan II mosque. I am an adventurer, so I very much enjoy walking. I walked through the old Medina and very much enjoyed it (use a map app, as the streets are a literal maze). Gihine at the front desk was fantastic, super helpful, and answered all of my questions. Took off one star because the taxi that the hotel arranged was not waiting for me upon arrival. I had to call the hotel and it seems that no one was ever dispatched. Had to wait over half an hour for him to arrive. The hotel said I could pay the taxi ride at the hotel with credit card, as i did not have local currency yet. I confirmed this the driver. When I arrived at the hotel, the driver kept asking for cash and i told him I don’t have any, I’ll pay inside the hotel by credit card. He said I should go to the currency exchange and he will wait. I said no and proceeded into the hotel. For the hotel, my recommendation (and it’s possible you already have it) is a recommendation of restaurants of different types (for breakfast, for dinner, traditional Moroccan food, etc). I didn’t bother to ask for recommendations as I like to explore and experience. The greatest difficulty I found is the language barrier. Casablanca is very French forward, and not one restaurant I went to had English menus and they had very limited English speaking staff. Had to use a lot of Google translate!

  • 5/5 offto d. 1 year ago on Google
We loved it. Front desk was very receptive to our needs. They went out of their way to answer our questions in English and were very friendly. The room was very cosy and we got a good night's sleep after a 10 hour flight. The breakfast was fantastic and had many different options to cater to Western guests. Disappointing to see some Western elitism in the reviews on this hotel from people who can't handle being in a foreign country where things are not always 100% perfect.

  • 4/5 Peta B. 1 year ago on Google
Overall the hotel is good; the room is clean of good size and great location in walking distance to most attractions and areas. Although the reception staff are not the friendliest and the buffet breakfast is minimal. I think overpriced for what you get.
