This hotel was perfect for what I wanted: cheap, a single night, and near the train station. Was it very luxurious? No. Did it get the job done? Absolutely! There is a rooftop balcony with a pretty good view of the port and the Hassan II mosque in the distance. The location is only a few blocks from the Casa Port train station. There was not air conditioning or a fan in the bathroom but those are typically American luxuries. Overall it’s not a bad spot for a quick stop in Casablanca!

Simple clean room with a small bathroom and a balcony. Tea and coffee provided, water cooker on the floor which was fine for us. Good hotel for a short stay in Casablanca.

Good location, easy walk to mosque and train station, and nice restaurants. Service and friendliness was wonderful, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Rooms were clean and quality was good for the price. Only downside was nighttime noise from barking neighborhood dogs and the occasional loud motorcycle.

We stayed 3 nights and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and the rooms had amazing views of the port. The ground floor is a cafe and guests can have a Moroccan style breakfast for only US$3. Some things that did not dampen our experience but may for other guests: the surrounding area can be noisy into the night (after 10pm) & larger guests would not be able to fit in the shower cubicle.

The hotel is located very well between the old city and the modern city center near the harbour. Our room was quite clean and we felt really well. We once had sheets and a towel that had a little dirt on them which didn't seem to have come off by washing. But it was very small and didn't bother us. The service was very nice and 24h available. Breakfast was available for 30MAD which was very fair. But a safe in the rooms would have been nice.

Great place, authentic colonial building right on the corner of the media. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location to be where the real Moroccans live. Staying here has been a real experience x

Great vintage vibe but could do with a refurb. The staff are excellent and so is the breakfast to start your day. The location is excellent, but as mentioned, the square can be noisy at night. Enjoyed my stay.

Low price compared to average in Casablanca. Great location, next to train station and the port. The receptionist when we arrived was siper nice but the lady the following morning needs to smile 😃.. life is beautiful.

Great location, the lady at the front desk in the morning was very nice and helpful, sharing tips and info about the city, the other guy at night was nice, the room was good but honestly I didn't notice it had no AC, despite having a balcony which I kept opened the entire time I was sweating at night and I couldn't sleep after sunrise because of the light and the fact that had to close the door. I think during cooler days it would have been a much better experience

the hotel needs some renovations but it’s a cheap option to stay in the medina. we had a good stay, but I’ve found the room a bit dark. also a bit noisy at night with the cafes and the little square downstairs(gets better if you close the window but as there’s no air con/fan it can get a bit hot). the lady at the reception is very nice and gave us tips about the town.

Stayed one night. Desk folx were very friendly. Location is definitely a bit sketchy. Woke up to the sounds of someone unhoused having a mental breakdown and the area around is fairly dirty. The room itself was clean. And I enjoyed my stay

Low budget Hotel in the Medina. Location in the old city is perfect when you like exploring the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful. 24-hour front staff is an exemption in this price range. We were completely satisfied with what we've got.

We had the corner room overlooking the square and it was amazing!! Lovely building, room clean and tidy The night Morocco beat Spain in the world cup, lots of very happy people The reception lady was very happy and friendly, suggested local places to eat Can breakfast served here til 11am, not tried it yet!! There is a door leading to the cafe next door, free to use whenever going to the cafe Situated close to the train station but if you arrive on the bullet train from tangier it's 10-15 minute taxi drive. Haggle the price!! Few minutes walk from the old town, lots of amazing architecture. Small shops, sellers and plenty of coffee shops if you take the time to walk the back streets Can't wait to explore more of the city

Charming hotel in a lively and safe neighborhood. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Sadia! Rooms are clean with bright dose of sunshine! Happy time mingling with the neighborhood children. Walking distance to the medina, train station and slightly longer walk to Hassan II mosque. Easy to find food. Pop over to Casa Fish for a lovely breakfast to start your day! 😉

My room was cheap and good for its price. Is an old building with a lot of charm and yes, the area around is a bit round down, so if you are looking for a posh experience, this is not it. I wouldn't pay more than 20 dollars for a double room. I was satisfied with the experience.

We love the Hotel Central and go often. It’s really well located near the Port, and Casa Port train station (for trains to the airport, Rabat, etc). Everyone is extremely friendly and there’s a lovely (unkept) roof terrace for morning coffees and evening drinks. There’s a large variety of rooms - singles to four bed rooms, some have terraces and look out onto the lively square below. It could be cleaner and the standard could be higher, but it’s extremely charming and very much worth the price (roughly £30 per night at time of writing).

Interior room windows face an apartment building (with very close contact to neighbors bedrooms 😅), simple accommodation, neighborhood seemed a bit rough but after a few days I felt pretty comfortable. Breakfast is weak, would skip it and go eat elsewhere. For the price, it’s not a bad place to stay. Wish they would clean it up a bit though, could be a real gem

The staff is super friendly, also speaks English. The accommodations was clean, top location and great value for the price. We, 2 solo traveler females felt very safe too! We would come back :) (the rooftop terrace is amazing!)

Would not recommend staying here. The rooms are small and not well maintained. Our bed was sagged on one side, the faucet in the bathroom was leaking and was extremely close to the toilet also the shower head was broken and the windows couldn’t be closed properly. Next to that the walls were so thin that we’d hear everything from the rooms around us and from the hallway/staircase and therefor couldn’t sleep or woke up really early due to other people walking by or showering in the room above. The breakfast was okay, but the dining room was obviously not cleaned in a long while. The hotel does have a good location on walking distance from the old medina.

Poor and unprofessional service . We called few hours before our arrival and the receptionist confirmed the availability of rooms. However, once we arrived they refused to take us in for no particular reason.

Location is excellent but the hotel services are not what I expected. Very old place and very bad choice in winter because no heating

There is a lot of street noise but what can be expected in the medina and an old building.

The first hotel in Casablanca built in 1902. No major changes were made since then. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. Don't expect much: very basic and clean

Hotel feels a bit old and yet still possesses a certain charm. Entrance decor is beautiful and the space feels peaceful as soon as you walk in after being in the busy streets of the Medina. Room had everything we needed, including a sweet little balcony. Terrace on the roof was also nice. Sadia, at the front desk was an amazing help and host. My friend and I ended up having a difficult end of trip with a few unplanned events come up but we felt her compassion and urge to help us in any way she could. So personable and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable asking as many questions as I needed to which I appreciated. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes walking to the train station, a large shopping mall for groceries and the Hassan II Mosque which has an amaaaazing Hamman!!! Must go! Bottom line is that the hotel met all our needs, but it was the care and professionalism of Sadia at the front desk that gave our experience of the city a whole other flavour and made it feel as comfortable as possible for us. Thank you Sadia and team!!!

It's the cheapest place to stay in Casablanca, it's well located and it's a short walk to the mosque Hassan 2, just like 10 minutes. The services are basic but good, you get a towel,a desk, a TV, a bed and hot water wih is great for Moroccan standards. There's a bar right in front of it we're usually you can find tourist to get a beer or two.

Love this place! Great price and location. The staff were very kind and helpful. They speak decent English. The rooms are basic but lovely. The bed was heavenly and comfortable! Facilities are clean. Hotel is charming. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

For the price, unbeatable. Close to the old Medina, it is more than natural to feel inclined to explore this colourful and lively neighbourhood. Nothing better than to sit in their esplanade to relax drinking a wonderful mint tea before a good shower for dinner. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If possible, book in advance. No lift available.

Good quality/location to price, the personel is amazing and very helpful, right in the middle of a local neighborhood and perfect if you want to see how the locals live.
