I had a 4 night stay at Kenzi Basma in mid-November and had an overall great experience! Staff was very polite and attentive. The room service/food was excellent. I had a conference nearby and it was a quick 4 minute walk from the hotel which made it very convenient. I was able to request airport pick up and drop off through the hotel for a reasonable fee. I had a lovely balcony view of the Hassan II Mosque from my room.

Dear Kenzi Basma hotel Team, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful stay I had at your hotel. The level of service provided by your staff was exceptional and made me feel right at home. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the attention to detail and care that was taken to ensure my comfort. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and the beautiful view from my window. Additionally, the location of your hotel was perfect for my needs. I was able to easily access all the nearby attractions and restaurants, and I appreciated the convenience of the shuttle service. Thank you again for an excellent experience. I will definitely be recommending your hotel to my friends and family, and I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

Numerous bugs and insects were present within the room shortly after their cleanup process if they even had done one beforehand. Gave us a stranger's room when we first came which violates the security of that initial person. Consequently, our accommodation was just an overall terrible experience for both me and my siblings.

I will never choose this hotel again. Hotel service is not very good. 3 points for service. My room key had to be registered once a day. The weather was hot, but I had to visit the counter several times to request room key registration. Choose a cheaper hotel than this one. The hotel price is 3 points. Hotel prices are expensive. The hotel is average, but the price is high.

We spent some time in this hotel during the new year festive. Our stay was amazing, it was quite and clean. We requested the room service and they did a good job. The bagagist Mr Idrissi was friendly and helpful. All the staff members were attentive and professional. However, I didn't like the breakfast. It needs to be more diverse. I recommend this hotel.

Comfortable hotel, I intend to relax there when I arrive in Casablanca and before ending my trip the next day befor transferring to the airport f, or continuing to Marrakesh when clients have to finish in Marrakesh, rooms are comfortable, service is good, parking is available. Very clean and warm bed but the best is Anas who welcomed us very well..

Good hotel to visit Casablanca. Well located so that you can walk to most of the places you may want to see. Special shout out for the cleaning lady Mme. Taibi who did an exceptional job.

This hotel was very disappointing to me. I had just got done staying at a 3 star hotel in Marrakech (felt like 5 stars) and came to this hotel that was actually rated 4 stars in Casablanca that felt like 2 stars. The bed had MANY yellow stains, the pillows, sheets, comforters. The sheet even had a tear in it. The room was nice looking, but not stunning like I imagine a 4 star hotel to be. The bathroom was big, but there was only dim lighting in there, no main bright light. The shower was pouring out brown water at one point. They ‘fixed’ it after 5 minutes and left. We were at the hotel with our family in a different room and they had brown water in theirs as well. They say they have a business center, but it’s just a table in a room. Breakfeast was not included. I’m just overall unimpressed with so much for a place I was excited for. ⭐️

Everything was perfect, from the rooms to the staff, who were always ready to make us feel comfortable and help with whatever we needed. The Bloom restaurant is great and always ready to serve us in the best possible way. A special thank you to Mr Laarissi Adil for his special attention to me and my family. A place and an experience to repeat in the future. Thanks.

The rooms were very grubby. Carpet awful. The dining room was a joke, way too many people and not enough crockery or cutlery. Food was all cold and pretty nasty. Not a 4 star hotel at all.

Stayed for one night after flying into Casablanca airport. The spaghetti Bolognese sat so well and heavy in my stomach and the breakfast was hearty.

Good afternoon. My name is akosua Kyerewaa acheampong I stayed at your hotel from the 26th February to 28th February 2023 . I was on the 5th floor I was charged a deposit of 100dollars/1000 dirhams which was supposed to be refunded back to me because that initial transaction was cancelled so I can make the full payment for my stay and I have still not received it I called my bank and they told me KENZI BASMA HOTEL has not issued the command for the refund Please work on the refund and get back to me I’ve been sending countless numbers of email and no reply

Owful experience. If I could I’d score this place -5 stars. The dirtiness will be all around you. Rooms and facilities are not well kept at all, dirty spots everywhere and even the toilet stinks cause of the non managed dirty in the pipes. After a while you stay there you than understand why the situation is so screwed: well seems clear to me the local workers are much more focused on rising excuses to solve you problems they created with the expectation to get some tip than doing their job. After 7 night all around in Morocco in beautiful places this is definitely the saddest way to finish my holiday

Overall we had a very pleasant experience The service was excellent and very friendly . Always willing to help. The location is a bit odd and not ideal unless you are in that area for another reason. The view from upper floors was quite impressive, especially the view of the Hassan II Mosque. The rooms are interesting. The hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel. That may be the case, but there is a catch. The rooms are quite nice, but they appear to be from the 90s or early 2000s. They haven't been updated for a very long time. I think it was all okay except the carpet. The was disgusting and and cigarette burns all over. I like the place, but think I will stay at more modern hotel in the future.

The place looks good on arrival. We had low water pressure on the shower. We asked for help, and they said someone was coming to see it. However, we had to go down and ask for it again. They changed rooms what was good. The second time, they were effective. Both times tjey were nice. The second room had more pressure. When we went to eat ( we were with a group of 25 people), I asked for pizza that had run out. After 45 minutes and 7 times asking for it ( it was a buffet dinner), and all the rest of the group having already eaten, I left without my pizza.... and I paid for it.

Yes the staff are very nice , the people are good but there is no management , walls are dirty things are missing in the rooms. There is huge building between the “premium room” that block the view. I only stayed here to see the mosque but it’s disappointing …

If it is possible to give this hotel zero stars I would. There is absolutely no way this is 4 star. The room they've given us is filthy. Everything is covered in dust. Cigarette butts on the balcony floor. The walls look like they have not been painted or cleaned in years. Disgusting.

  • 3/5 Noa Ben H. 1 year ago on Google
Great location, clean rooms. But they weren’t ready for large group, and the dining room was a mess during breakfast with not enough dishes or seats to accommodate everyone. Plus the light fixture inside the shower didn’t work, front desk said they will send someone to fix it but they didn’t. We showered in the dark.

We arrived here just for one night, the check in experience is simple and amicable. The room has issues, there was a heavy smell to cigarette, the bed wasn't properly done and the carpet has stains and looks dirty. The location is close to restaurants and other areas of interest including the train. For breakfast they have several low quality options, except for the croissants those were good.

Absolutely loved the hotel the 2 weeks we stayed there felt like home.. The staff at reception to even the security guard outside and staff around the hotel we all really lovley and helpful, room service was really quick and had managed to provide everything we needed..rooms were really good..except for the paint coming off on the washroom walls. One annoying things was that the TV was not a smart TV meaning no YouTube, apps like that.. not really much use those who don't know Arabic or French, there was only one English channel and one bollywood one that we could watch..The cleaners were good too however sometimes slightly over stepped the privacy mark meaning they would just scan their card and walk in which I really disliked and it was hard to explain to them as they understood very little English.. The air conditioning was good and working fine.. Lifts could do with a service as they didn't seem too steady.. Room 706s or 707s can't remeber but the balcony veiw was lovley and to be able to take the chair on the balcony and enjoy the sunset and sunrise was really nice.. Also in my parents room they had the full veiw of the hassan masjid which was good.. Food options at the restaurant could be improved to having a variety instead of a limited menu.. However we would always eat out so it wasn't much of an issue for us.. Overall would still love to go back again and can't wait to come back again next year.. dispite the small negatives.. Still really good and im also sure they would be improved for next time Thankyou for having us and hope to be back soon..

I really enjoyed my stay, inside everything seemed to be clean. The style of the hotel was cozy and the staff was professional and accommodating to our requests. Our rooms looked beautiful and the beds were well made. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is alright. The staff are wonderful and the beds are comfortable but that is about it. The location is great since it is near the beach and the old city souk but there some stuff to be said. When I walk to my room on the seventh floor, it smelled like still water at times. The people at the front desk are also hit or miss as the night crew were more lovely to interact with than the morning staff. The housekeeper Bouchra did a fantastic job cleaning 704 and was lovely to speak with.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Room is spacious and so is the bathroom. The carpets are dated n dirty. Basic amenities - No tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was substantial. No pool. There is a bar but no restsurant. Located in the older part of the city. Lots of traffic noise. Service is okay.

Very good hotel. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, great service. I had a very good stay. The outside looks crowd but it's safe and close to the ancient medina and main square.

A hotel with good location. Just 25 mins walk to Hassan II Mosque. It should be a nice small hotel for stay here. But the water supply is extremely poor. Our agent order 8 rooms for us. All of my friends complained the water supply which was so weak that we cannot shower easily. The leaking of water from the shower is not hot enough. We were so disappointed for the water supply, since this is the first hotel we stay in Morocco. We just flight to Morocco, we did not shower for two days. Water supply for showering is a basic facility of a hotel.

I wish I had the option of giving negative stars that’s how bad this hotel is !!!! We travelled from Canada, extremely exhausted came to this hotel only to be faced with EXTREMELY RUDE receptionist who only wanted to get as much money from us as possible. The add displayed online showed a lower price than what they charged us and kept adding additional charges for minor services. The pictures look NOTHING like the rooms in real. Do not book this hotel if you find the pictures attractive!!! Bath was NOT clean, had hair all over the bathroom floor. The towels had stains on them. The blankets were very worn out and was ripped. The wifi was super slow, there was no connection in the room. We had to go out in the lobby to use the internet. Felt like a cheap motel. Do yourself a favour and book a cheap motel rather than this deceiving hotel. Use that money on food.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The location is within walking distance of the centre. But there is also street noise. The breakfast was quite good. It cost 120 MAD. Just make sure if it is included in your reservation or not. There is no water in the rooms but you can request it directly via phone. Also, I paid extra tax when I checked out. In general, my experience was good at this hotel.

Hotel is interesting looking building. I had a spacious and clean room on third floor. Breakfast was mediocre on variety; however did offer Moroccan cookies which were great to try with coffee. No issues with hot water for shower tho slow drain. At least 3 tour groups were all leaving about same time so might account for challenges with hot showers. I would stay again if back in Casablanca.

I would give zero or minus stars if possible. One of the worsts hotels I've ever stayed. Rooms looks clean but not really. Water flow is very very low from the showers and taps. We had only breakfast and need to wait in a line to get cups plates are washed and returned. They say that we can sit anyway but suddenly one guy coming and saying to move to another place for no reason in the middle of eating. If you open windows in the night in south west wing please be waiting to welcome different kind of insects such as cockroaches etc. Happened all three days. No water bottle at room. Fortunately the A/C was working fine. The normal staff was friendly but there was a lady who seems to be a manager and so rude for customers. Since we cannot suffer we went to leave early and she first refused to cancel our booking and pay the refund for my friend. Also she threat them that if we put bad comment, that she would not refund the money which was around 400 Euros and my friend was a young student. For me they told the refund will be happening in the same day to my card, but it took 4 days. The normal staff are helpless but friendly. I will never ever recommend this to anyone.

Booked Hotel on Booking.com clearly stated breakfast included which is why we booked. On arriving found out breakfast was not included, clearly misrepresented in advert. After putting this to hotel staff eventually in the evening we asked if breakfast was sorted and was assured it was only to find out this was a lie as we were charged.

Rooms were okayish and some what disappointing. Shower stream was so low that we almost couldn't have proper shower. Breakfast was disappointing as well, half of the stuff were empty and when asking for something you get the attitude. Rooms allowed to smoke at and the smell stuck in the walls. Holes in the floors that covered with the carpet and the carpet itself is very dirty. The location is great as it close to everything and to the market

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds BUT.... the food. The food is good if You are lucky enough to catch some. We were here with a group and there wasn't enough food even for the first one on the breakfast.... if you don't eat this hotel is for you

One of the worst, badly organised hotels I've had the misfortune to stay in. Completely disorganised from the check-in, restaurant for dinner. Being advised by our guide NOT to go out in the evening alone. The breakfast was chaos and was happy to finally leave.

Great location, 15 minutes walking for Casa Port Trajn Station, 4 minutes walking to old Médina. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. We were given a room on the 6th floor with view to Hassan Mosque II! Breakfast is good! Would come again!!

We started and ended our Moroccan's adventure here and it was good. Clean & comfortable room with enough space to pack our bags. The tap went dry near midnight during our last night in Morocco and staff sent 2 bottles of mineral water for emergency. Our travel agent sent another big bottle and water supply was back in the early morning. Just don't go for breakfast at 7am sharp, the hot meals were not ready yet.

On the pictures it all seemed nice and clean. In real it wasn’t clean, very old. There was a date pit on the floor for all the days: sure wasn’t something i consumed🙄 Seems they don’t vacuum the floors. The shower was horrible: bad water pressure and after a shower the whole bathroom becomes wet! Mold and musty smell. At least the ac works. There was NO coffee or tea facility, not even some sort of glass they provide. Staff was very reserved, you don’t feel welcomed. Asking for something at the desk will get you nothing. You have to call the roomservice, which then take a long time and forgets half of what you ask for. The good thing was the location: close to the Medina and there are a lot of restaurants around. Also fast to get to the Mosque and the train station, the last being on walking distance. Also there is a bakery across where you can find fresh bakes and a lil’ shop for water and fruits. So much better than the overpriced breakfast at the hotel. Mind the noisy street too.

I had a very pleasant experience overall at the Kenzi Basma. The location is perfect, the staff is polite and helpful, the food is nice, and my room was comfy and clean. Special mention to the great view from my balcony over all of Casablanca and the sea.

On checking in allocated wrong room type. On arrival at room no towels, the sixth call to reception was finally answered and towels arrived. Tea and coffee facilities is a joke there are two cups and kettle. No tea, no coffee, no spoons The amount of mould around the shower has to be seen to be believed. Carpets are filthy. On a noisy street near the cultural heart of the city. Give this hotel a miss, there is far better available.

Dear Kenzi Basma team, It was pleasure to stay at your hotel, the front desk services were excellent. The hotel staffs are willing to help their guests. Room is very clean and face to Hassan II Mosque! The location of this hotel is very convenient to everywhere. I would like to recommend my friends to stay this hotel.
