I loved this museum, it’s not very famous in Casablanca but should be. The historical artifacts are super interesting, definitely worth checking out. The entrance fee is 50dhs which is fine, Wednesday are free for students. I heavily recommend this museum for any history fans.

Interesting array of traditional clothing, religious articles, etc from era gone by. Includes Aron HaKodesh, Bimah, etc from Synagogues no longer in use.

I went to this museum for the first time with my guests from USA. I was really surprised to see objects and utensils that my Berber grandparents of the anti atlas used and that I possess as souvenirs of my ancestors. Moroccans of Jewish faith really have a long history in Morocco. I am very happy to have got to know this place, and I would most often send my tourists to see the history of my country in this museum. Very good initiative. Thank you.

This is quite a nice place with a nice aura and a very special vibe. I guess I couldn't give more than three stars because of the following: ● There was no guide to give further explanation. We would have welcomed a little more information. We had a lot of questions and we got out with no answers. ● For what we saw, the price is quite unfair for locals. 50Dh/person. I think It would be better I guess if there's a cheap fee for locals and a higher fee for foreigners (like most countries do). It would encourage people to come more often, and even come again to take guests. ● Maybe, the lighting should be revisited because there are some items that are hard to see due to the reflections of different bulmb lights on the windows. Apart from the two above mentioned minor false notes, everything was great. The way the space is arranged and the rooms are organized + the pictures in the corridor showing how it was and who was there and how they lived and taught back then. I loved it. The clothes, the tools, the chandeliers, the jewelry and the lecterns are all very well presented with reference numbers that are quite clear. The study room and the Torah reading space project a true spiritual vibe. And the surrounding garden is just awsome. The way it's arranged and shaped is very cozy. It should be highlighted.

Had the chance to visit this beautiful museum once, various artifacts of jewish-berber origin are on display. It was a very instructive experience that I enjoyed very much. I love to learn about our Moroccan heritage and especially how our jewish ancestors contributed to Moroccan society and history.

Small but interesting museum. Most of the descriptions are not in English or Hebrew (French only). I used Google translate but an additional language would be nice.

Experience could have been better if there was a guided tour of the Museum but it has historical photos and items that illustrate the culture of the Moroccan Jewish communities who have lived in Morocco for a long time.

Great museum for Jewish history in Morocco. Learned so much about Moroccan culture that I thought originally was "Arab" and now realize that it really is Jewish heritage.

This museum is a hidden gem! No fancy technology, no bells and whistles, but well worth the visit if you appreciate Jewish history and synagogue life.

The Museum of Moroccan Judaism is a Jewish museum in the Oasis neighborhood of Casablanca, Morocco. Established in 1997, it is the only museum devoted to Judaism in the Arab world. The museum, whose building originated in 1948 as a Jewish orphanage that housed up to 160 Jewish youth, was renovated in 2013.

Worth a visit. Said to be the only Jewish museum in Africa. Small, mainly artefacts and photos. It’d be a great bonus to see history telling, such as how Jews came to the land and how they lived with Muslims. There’s a lovely garden. Ticket 50. Winter closes at 50DH (but the lady may shut down the entrance at 4pm)

Great wee museum, in a very pleasant area of Casablanca. I'm not Jewish, in fact I have no faith, but am interested in different beliefs and cultures. The more l learn about the different ways of worship gives me an insight to how they work.

Not incredibly compelling, as Jewish Museums go, but there's a lot of competition and none of it is on this continent. So go! The tram ride and 20 minute walk to an interesting upper-middle-class neighborhood added to the day significantly.

Lovely and interesting museum to learn about the long history of Judaism in Morocco. I wish there was more explanation though, as well as a gift shop/book store (perhaps with the images on display in the museum) because I definitely would have purchased some more info to take home!

Went to check out wheelchair accessibility. There are some small steps 10 cm in height but otherwise completely flat. The bathroom stalls are step free but standard size for Morocco meaning 66cm doors and no space to turn and no grab bars. The museum itself is fantastic showing a unique piece of Morocco and Judaism and the Arab world. Love it!

The person who did everything to make this museum exist, I am sad to see that in celebrating the identity of the Jews of Morocco, in protecting their heritage, we overlooked a person who did everything for this preservation. (Translated by Google) Superb museum, the Jewish culture is so interesting and rich, we must provide time to see everything and admire .. An exceptional place with its museography both didactic and moving. This museum is both a work in itself and a space dedicated to the history of the Jewish diaspora, which is also an integral and fundamental part of Morocco. The different spaces allow a meditation, a reflection on this history and the understanding of it. Inspiring to meditate and think.
