You have to pay fee if you are not going to pray. Magnificent Mosque but there is visitors except prayers. They close the Mosque immediately after pray. Why they made such a big mosque if the non prayers cannot see it without visit fee. It is not a donation. How do you make the non-prayer’s heart warm about Islam! You have one of the greatest Mosque on your hand, to be able to use to invite people to Islam! But you wish to gain money. Please leave the families and children at Mosque Courtyard to be able to play. We should be the follower of the Prophet S.a.V. who stops the Juma pray for a while to be able to make warm children’s hearts (by playing with them) and then complete the pray. You may not find prayers if the next generation won’t play at the Courtyard of The Mosque.

(Translated by Google) A place that reflects the history of traditional and contemporary Moroccan architecture. The square has a grassed alley with sports equipment for training. A magnificent view during sunset. (Original) Une place qui reflète l'histroird de l'architecture marocaine traditionnelle et contemporaine . Not that great. You charge visitors to see a mosque?? Even local citizens have to pay really. If someone was going to become muslim..they will not.this is like a tax for 130 dirham and 65 for locals..common. This should be a place to bring people in to meet God.i was in Vatican city and I did not have to pay a diem..maybe I should become catholic 🙂😀

Absolutely amazing place.. A must visit, its a modern masterpiece that represents every single piece of the Moroccan cultural heritage. The mosque and its courtyards are very well situated with 1/3 being built on the water. Every single detail was taken care of. The mosaic tiles known as zellij, the wood carving, the carpeting, the chandeliers... Everything is a masterpiece on itself, highly recommend a visit.

Stayed at a hotel just next to the Hassan Mosque, so I could actually see it it from my hotel room. But the best experience was during sunset as the whole mosque magically lights up and especially the call of prayers makes it feel inviting even for a non muslim. Stayed there sitting on the steps at the mosque just watching people heading for prayers, kids enjoying their huge playground, families having a good time while I just sat there and admired the huge structure. On my return journey I could actually see the mosque from my flight. My advice is to visit the place during sunset. I did not visit the museum as I travelled along with a tour operator and they did not book the tickets.

Spectacular, grand and magnificent are the words to describe this beautiful place of worship. The guided tour was really informative and it explained the history of the mosque. The tour guides are available in many different languages. The mosque is located close to the oceans the views are simply stunning. This is the second largest mosque in the world and the tallest minaret of mosque in Africa. A must visit attraction when in Casablanca.

To the left of the entrance steps and around the corner is an accessible ramp. The museum is laid out so that wheelchair users can interact easily at any height with the exhibits including the amazing map. There are accessible bathrooms with grab bars and space to maneuver a wheelchair. I highly recommend the accessibility and the museum experience as a whole.

We walked into the museum as soon as it opened and were able to purchase tickets for the first tour of the day. There were tours available in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, and Italian at the ticket desk inside the museum. We paid 160MAD each for both museum and mosque entry. While we waited for our tour to start, we walked around the museum. The placards below each piece, showing different components of architecture inside the mosque, are written only in Arabic. The tour itself was a great overview of the mosque and its construction. At the end of the tour, you’re able to stay inside the building to take more photos.

The museum is ok, nothing great really and it is pretty small. I was done in about 15 minutes. I don't think it alone is worth the 30dh entrance fee, but it costs only 10dh if you get a combination ticket with the mosque.

Moroccan IKEA, literally almost all the artifacts are for sale and aren't even old to be considered to be in a museum.

This mosque will impress you not only by its size but also by the quality of the craft. Only the most talented people were allowed to create it. You may also visit the interior at dedicated hours. They also have a small museum.there and even a small shop handcrafted objects. They have great hammam below but unfortunately it is ruined by rude and incompetent staff - check opinions before visiting it.

The tour of the mosque is worth it at about 130 dhs per person. Note the tour timings before going .. starts at 9am, 10am, 11am and some in the afternoon. Tickets can be bought on site maybe 30 min before the tour start time. They have electronic kiosks as well as ticket booths. The mosque is very beautiful and must be seen in person to appreciate the intricate work that went into building it. It's a feat to build something this complex and beautiful in just 6 years.

The mosque in Casablanca is truly a magnificent sight to behold. Its beauty is breathtaking, with stunning architecture and intricate design that leaves one in awe. The sheer scale of the mosque and the fact that it was built in just six years is a testament to the unwavering willpower and determination of the Moroccan people.

Great building , wish I had seen the interior . very poorly organised. Decided not to wander on my own on my own despite allowed to get in and went to ticket office that was closed at 2 . Opening at 3 pm we were told Went back at 3.15 and it was closed again ! Not a great service . Pity for those that want people to admire this great mosque!

It is one of the top architectural structures in Casablanca, and Morocco overall. The details of the doors, the walls, the ceilings, the columns. Just loved everything about this place. The beautiful People there were the cherry on top. Things to note: 1- They have specific times for tourists. 2- For Muslim people, daily prayer times are when they are allowed in. 3- They evacuate the mosque after the prayers are completed. 4- it’s important to be note that in this mosque, Your ears will witness one of the most beautiful sounding and tranquil Adhans (Muslim call to prayer) you’ll get to hear on this planet. So pay attention to it.

If you go during Ramadan, make sure you go early. We went at 15:00 and they didn't let us in. We had to wait for about 20 mins to just be in the outside area. Splendid, white minaret and mosque. We had a look inside from the main gate and it looked majestic. Make sure you go in. I deduct points as we couldn't get in.

The museum itself was not that great, but we went at 16:00 as the last tour was taking place, and there was nobody at the square. The squares opens up to the public at 17:00 and rapidly fills up, but it's worth it to stay until at least 17:15 for the call to prayer

A very special museum with very colorful and impressive exhibits. The entrance fee is 30 dirhams. Not expensive but it's not a big museum either, you can finish it in 20 minutes. At the entrance to the cash register they will ask if you want entrance and a tour of the mosque at a cost of 150 dirhams or only entrance to the museum at a cost of 30 dirhams

This is the main reason to visit Casablanca. It is the third largest mosque in the world, behind the mosques in Mecca and Medina and one of the few mosques that allows non Muslims to tour. Cost to tour the mosque only is about $13 USD per person. We had a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who explained in detail about the architectural features and materials used in construction. This is a must see for anyone touring Morocco. 🇲🇦

You have a wonderful enormous very expensive mosque and and museum right next to a slum where people live on dirt. It makes you think on what the priorities are for the government of this country, or for its voters.

Wonderful place with very nice guide, that explain everything- not too long, not annoying, just interesting facts. Enjoy! (Closed for visit from 12.00 to 14.00 during Ramadan for preys)

Spectacular is what I have to say. The backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean creates the most picturesque moment. The tour itself was average, but that's me being overly critical. For non Muslims, this is a great place to visit, learn, understand and respect this religion and culture. Such loving people.

Incredible building quite literally takes your breath away. Wandered aroubd for about 30 minutes before joining the guided tour. Tour was a bit rushed but the only chance to go inside the mosque.

We were in Casablanca for only half a day, so we had time to visit only one site and we chose to visit Hassan II Mosque which is the only mosque in morocco which allows entry of non muslims. There is an entry fee which though is expensive but worth paying , the visitors are formed into groups and a there is a guide for every group. The interiors are as beautiful as the exteriors. Though one can enjoy the beauty of the mosque from the outside with ocean backdrop, I strongly recommend to buy a ticket and go inside and enjoy the views of the interiors

Easy to enter information area and book a tour that costs 130 MAD. Tours were given in English, Spanish, French, Deutch, and Italian at around 2 and 3 when the mosque isn't being used for prayers. Beautiful sights and amazing architecture. Very glad I went.

Unfriendly and arrogant mosque staffs . Our Muslim group tour being chase away , not allowing to take group photo near the mosque. Not allowing to enter, unless paying entrance fees. Is the mosque only for shows only ? , and Muslim has to pay entrance fees out of praying hour, to enter the mosque??.Noticed that others religious group were welcome because they paid entrance fees. Are the mosque hard up for money? This is not reflected the goodness of Islam.

The tour is very brief and lacks substance. Guide didn’t explain the history and basic information about the mosque. It was also ridiculous that he asked for tip at the end. What did we pay 12euros for?!

It's such a great museum, a lot nostalgia, the wood smell great in the wood sealing area.
