The Worst Ibis Hotel I've Stayed in First of all, we were kept waiting at the reception and even though we were in line, other people were taken in ahead of us. I found this hotel by selecting the free parking filter from Booking. However, when we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist said that their parking lot was full and they could not take our car and did not help us find a parking space. When we got to the room we immediately noticed that it was very stuffy. It had a window that didn't open. So the room hadn't had any fresh air since it was built. It smelled so bad. The ceiling tile was dislodged and could fall on our heads at any moment. That's why we were very careful when passing under that ceiling. Even though we requested a double bed, they gave us 2 single beds pushed together. The sheets of those beds were also very dirty. The shampoo box in the bathroom was empty. There were no foot and hand towels. In summary, I definitely do not recommend you to stay at this hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to share my experience. On the positive side, the restaurant staff was quite nice, and the breakfast was delightful. However, there were a few aspects that left me disappointed. Upon my early arrival, I asked about the possibility of checking in before 2 pm because I was exhausted and even offered to pay extra if there was a bigger room available. Regrettably, the receptionist informed me that the hotel was fully booked and couldn't arrange an early check-in. While having breakfast later, I overheard the receptionist telling another guest that there were rooms available for his family to rest in until their rooms were ready. This left me feeling somewhat uncomfortable. Anyway, I returned at 2 pm to find my room ready. However, there was no electricity, water, or even towels provided in the room. Despite repeated calls, the receptionist did not respond, leaving me stranded. Eventually, I had no choice but to move to a friend's place and check out the same day. It's quite disappointing that the hotel could not provide even the basic necessities. While I understand the concept of non-refundable room prices, it's important to ensure that guests are at least provided with the essentials. The attitude of the staff further dampened my experience. They're aware that the hotel sucks and their demeanor seemed to suggest a "deal with it" attitude when clients complain. Although the hotel's location is appealing, I'm hesitant to recommend it to anyone I know. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your services.

very bad experience i will never forget how i spent my days there it was for me the worst experience in my life ever. I paid for a room with full portion of food during quarantine days during summer, at first they gave me a room that wasn't clean at all it was the worst thing plus the service was bad and some of the workers there was rude. Am not advising this hotel to anyone .

The worst service in the world I paid for my wife to stay there for 10 days quarantine and I paid for breakfast, lunch and dinner But they give her the same breakfast everyday. Even prisoners get better treatment. And they don't give her any other choice I'll include the picture of the breakfast Also they give my wife her breakfast at 10 am and if she wants to call them the phone is not working. So she has to go down to talk to them every time she needs something This is not a good service and I'll never put my wife in such hotel again

This hotel was an absolute gem! The moment we stepped into the beautiful courtyard with its lush gardens and calming fountain, we knew we made the right choice. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, which added to the overall charm of the hotel. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the city and was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast. The hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore the bustling souks and major landmarks. We can't wait to return!

Moderately decent hotel. Nicely kept. Very friendly staff. However I wish they had coffee makers in the room and towels that are halfway decent. Plus there’s an awful sewage-like odor on the floors that seems to permeate the entire city. I found that also in parts of Rabat and Fes and just cannot understand it. It would also help, if maps and other information regarding train and bus schedules and how taxis function in the city, were provided.

I recently stayed at Ibis Abdlemoumen for a business trip, marking my first experience with an Ibis hotel in the area. Initially, the receptionists were not as welcoming as expected. On a positive note, the room impressed me with its cozy lighting and well-fitted furniture. Despite being generally clean, I noticed some cobwebs in the ceiling. Unfortunately, the window could not be opened due to a security lock. In the bathroom, I found two medium-sized towels and a foot towel, but surprisingly, there was no hand towel. Additionally, there was an absence of shampoo and body wash in the bath/shower. The room featured only one small trash can, situated in the bathroom. I encountered an issue with the heater controller, which emitted a high-pitched sound even when turned off. During breakfast, both the oven and coffee machines were out of order. While the breakfast spread was diverse and satisfactory, the staff's demeanor was not welcoming, with instances of talking with an attitude and even raising their voices towards a client. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel's location is commendable, with a nearby tramway station and ample availability of taxis in the area. However, due to the overall mixed experience, I find myself hesitant to wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

Clean. Friendly staff It is located on a very busy avenue. If you're in Casablanca for Business then it's a good place to stay.

Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. I would recommend as a somewhat cheap hotel with a good location.

The hotel is good. Everything is clean and neat. Only one body towel per person, not a hands or face towel. Also, only one pillow per person is very soft for what I like. The shower is very good, and the space, and the water temperature.

I had made a reservation before traveling and called the hotel to confirm and was told it's confirmed, but when I arrived at 2:00am they told me I don't have any reservation although I had paid in full I had to pay for a room again. Is that fair????

I've not been having the best luck with hotels in Morocco - my recent experience at Atlas Orient in Oujda brought to mind one of the great questions, who (was rating that wretched place highly in the 21st century)? My experience at Ibis Abdelmoumen brings to mind another, HOW THO? Like how is this one of the best rated hotels in Casablanca and what does this say for the competition? Let's start with getting in. I 'checked in' online and the email I received boldly stated that my cards would be waiting for me at 12pm. Yo Ibis, maybe be a bit more modest in your aims yeah? 20 plus minutes later after an exhausting journey me and my new closest friend in Morocco (judged by time spent together), the front desk clerk are still finishing off some kind of process (I was just standing there). Needless to say, having stayed at hotels around the world this was longer than all other check ins by an order of magnitude. Not only this, but my new closest friend tried to charge me the whole price of the stay despite me already paying a deposit - et tu, front desk guy?? (Luckily I wasn't so jetlagged to not notice). At least after such an exhaustive process he ensured I got a decent room...oh wait, the toilet was broken and was continuously flushing - which we could hear from the hallway approaching the room. I guess if we'd spent another 20 minutes at the desk they might've caught it. Also these rooms are noisy bruh (Niagara toilets aside), like for real. We were on the 10th and then 8th floor with the window closed and there were so many car honks that you'd think Morocco had just won the World Cup (they hadn't). If 'urban chaos' sounds like your kind of audioscape get down to Ibis Abdelmoumen - just be sure to calculate in to your stay time enough to spend at the front desk. UPDATE: after evading that weird shakedown attempt (the request to pay the full amount having already paid a deposit) the front desk proceeded to call every room my family were occupying minutes later to say I hadn't paid and that I need to settle the balance immediately. Atrocious, shameful stuff. Also: #freepalestine

Rooms and hotel were clean and staff were kind; only 3 stars for the breakfast that was very very modest for such prices per night. They could have done better with food variation and quality

The staff are very friendly and smiling. Room small with no window (it's okey I asked for calm room) but the smell was very bad. No water i was surprised that there's no small fridge as other hotel 👎 even no tea, no coffee. Yeah and breakfast is NOT included come on. Even a normal hostel in other countries which i paid 8 euro per night was with breakfast I paid 58 euro even not a bottle of water. I stayed In ibis hotel in turkey I'm wondering what's the difference between the both 🤔

Since the check in the staff were very rude not professional at all. No initiative coming from them. I was quarantine for 10 days as I was coming from DXB. No services was provided and I was paying on my own so I'm supposed to get a service as a customer staying in the hotel. Whatever you ask them they are always refusing. They should have a sense of how to deal with the customer especially after the pandemic. People's are coming to spend some days or maybe they are having some plans to stay in the hotel so staff should know how to make them happy. They were acting like we are in the hospital and we are staying for free !!!! I really don't understand how such us employees are working in the hospitality industry!!!! Management should look after them. Coming to cleanings, all the corners are dirty, when I checked in, toilet wasn't clean at all and I have to clean it by my self ( will not mention the deep details ) 🤐 One staff in the reception was nice and helpful he always comes evening or night ( Not Mohamed) Worst case: one staff named Sara she fought with my wife !!! And when she asked about her manager she mentioned I don't have manager here we are the management and she told her I will bring police for you !!!!!!! Unacceptable behaviour!!!! This is shouldn't happened in such us biggest group as Accor !!! Where are the management?? Why whenever we asked about a manager she/he is not present ?? Is it busy as this much that manager doesn't meet the customer and check their concerns???? I wish if I can share a positive feedback about my entire stay but unfortunately!!!😐 Please look after your team members, they supposed to get a training about hospitality industry. Meet the people's on check out and see what is the feedbacks and work on it to better improve your areas !!! So sad to see Group accor ( Ibis ) in this level really you are giving a very bad reputation about the group !!!!!!

👍 It’s a 4-star hotel and maybe I just set my expectations high that I was disappointed at some areas like not having a clothes iron or the dental toiletries. But I can still say that it’s a recommended hotel for its strategic location. It’s near grocery shops and low to medium scale restaurants....
