It was my birthday and I asked for nice table. They said they will give me the best. “Best” you can see on the first picture… They brought us horrible cheap olives, bread and butter that later they included on the bill! You can’t bring anything what people didn’t ask and make them pay for it! Food was ok, nothing special. Our waiter was nice and cute, but around were so loud and rude waiters that bothered me a lot! In the end of our starters one of the waiter just put small table next to us. I would say he threw it so I was so shocked couldn’t even remember about what I talked with my friend. Overpriced, rude

Most seafood plates are for two, so the prices are quite reasonable. Very friendly and professional service. Great ocean view😳😍. The total for two was 63 € (salad, bottle of house wine, rice with lobster and seafood for two, tea). About 5 € for starters are already included (olives, bread&butter). I expected too much to eat more sophisticated seafood. The fish soup was nothing special although pricy. I would recommend to eat the fish that they recommend if you go to this restaurant.

We waited over an hour for our food (10 people) and were the first people to be seated. They brought us one totally wrong dish and four were cold. The service was pushy and rude when we pointed out the problems. The food was good but way overpriced. Would have a great view but the windows were filthy. Keep driving to a faster nicer staffed, priced correct restaurant.

I thought I will Portugal with no good food. But my driver recommended this place. Oh so fresh seafood with chilli sauce or sambal we called it. So good.

Incredible restaurant I strongly recommend anyone passing by to come to O Faroleiro. The Arroz de Marisco is loaded in Lobster. My Portuguese wife thought it was the best she had ever had. You are introduced to the restaurant by the amazing catch of the day. We also tried the sole but was very tempted by the sea bass (cooked in three different ways including salt baked). What almost goes understated is the absolutely jaw dropping view. The restaurant itself is immaculate and well appointed.

We are in town for a day and we were advised by many to try O Faroleiro. It did not disappoint. This has been the best meal we have had. I ordered a grilled sea beam with vegetables. My husband had grilled tiger prawns and garlic rice. We were both very satisfied and pleased with our choices. 10/10 recommend.

Well, it’s a nice place but there are better. One of the waiters was very rude. The others tried to compensate. The arroz de marisco was average. We had many much better throughout our journey.

A very nice restaurant which is located just next to Forte da Cresmina. We went their for lunch and order two big fishes for sharing. The fishes were charcoal grilled with the right timing and we enjoy very much.

We came here for the amazing panoramic view of the ocean, but we left even more impressed by the food! We shared a divine arroz tamboril with shrimps and clams. The sheep cheese was also incredible - make sure you try it.

Great view of the mountain and ocean and the seafood rice with rock lobster was delicious and so were the clams!
