Great fun park with shows. Your kids will love it! 😊 If you have some Euros available, buy a ticket for the dolphin experience or at least a ticket to take a photo with a dophin. That's a great souvenir.

Great day out. We got a taxi here 20/10/23. £72 euro for two adults and a child but well worth it and you will need the majority of the full day to enjoy. The dolphin show is beautiful and there is a bird show too. We had to rent beds for 15 euro which was fine. Little amusement park and we had lunch here too. Great day out.

Was lots to do. There were alot of rides for the kids. It’s nice that there is the zoo and the water park as well as regular rides so you can do all the rides and animals and then relax in the water park. Although it was busy there wasn’t a wait time for anything. We went on a Saturday in the off season so wasn’t bad at all. Really reasonable to get in. Food was very reasonably priced as well.

Animals, marine aquariums, water fun to swim and slide, beautiful animal shows are shown there with great scenery. Very great park, very clean. Swam with the dolphins which was a fantastic experience. You have a fifteen minute induction to learn about the bottle nose dolphins and then you go swim and interact with them a truly unique experience. The park has lots of animal shows. Timing is everything so make sure you get the show schedule so you don’t miss your show. Restaurants are good with plenty of options. The pink doughnuts are so tasty. Fairground rides and pools the lazy river is fun! With So much to do the option to get another day for just €10 is so worth it! A great day out for the young and the young at heart ❤️

Fantastic place. A must visit for anyone going to Portugal. Dolphin emotions was unbelievable. Usually I'd be concerned about enclosures but they are spacious and seem very well cared for!. Kids loved the water park too plenty of options for all ages.

Great place to visit if you're in the region, fun for all the family/here on your own or as a couple. There are amusing shows to attend including a fantastic dolphin show, but with lots of emphasis on conservation and the marine hospital that they have. Great water and funfair rides as well as a wave pool, massive swimming pool and lots of areas to lounge. Definitely worth going to if you're here for a few days.

Fantastic place. All animal displays were dual language. Videos have subtitles. all animals looked healthy and happy. My wife and I had a deal for up to 3 day visits included in our holiday package. You definitely need 2 days to see all shows and exhibitions as well as make use of the pools and fun fair rides. Nice cool under cover pic nic/food hall area as well as grass and "beach" areas if you wish to be in the sun.

Water slides & pool are lovely & clean. Dolphin show is amazing. Atmosphere is calm & friendly. Food is a little pricey & I felt the Pirate show was lacking adventure. The toilet facilities are good & clean. Lockers are available. You can hire sun loungers & shade - €10. (Or just a lounger for €5) Parking is free. I would recommend a visit.

Amazing place, any animal lover will find something for themselves. Over the whole day, there are several shows of dolphins, seals and sea lions, parrots, birds of prey and tropical birds, so you can plan the visit how you want. The 🐬 and 🦭 shows were absolutely amazing, go there first in case you want to repeat it later 😀 There is also aquarium 🐠, 🦋 garden  and 🦜🐢🦩🐊 habitats, all open the whole day. The slides are cool too, but the queues are really really long. I would recommend you to get there early as there is a lot to see 🤩.

Absolutely amazing place, especially for families with kids 3-10 y.o. Fun and at the same time cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Dolphins' show was the best. If your child is small enough, he or she could participate in the show during ball game. Pirats' show was also very fun, creative and absolutely amazing. Everything is done with the idea of respect to nature. A lot of touching moments together with lots of fun.

I'm not a fan of water parks but this is no ordinary water park, it's packed with variety for all ages and tastes. We were recommended to buy the multi day ticket and didn't due to our schedule, a big mistake:( I'd have loved to spend a 2nd and even 3rd day here. The water slides are varied to suit different ages and swimming ability. There's a mini theme park with a big wheel, train, boat etc There are animal shows and a very energetic Pirate show. There is a food court, an all you can eat buffet and a burger bar. You won't get hungry.

We have now visited Zoomarine 4 times and loved it every time. The place is clean, staff polite & friendly. Everything is well sign-posted. Shows that they put on are always great, educating and fun. Animals are looking healthy and well looked after. The swimming pool is awesome, spacious and warm. Good selection of water slides and rides. Butterfly world is a lovely addition to the park. Will definitely be back in the future.

Where do I start....well there's so much to do. It was pretty cheap for the 5 of us (around €117 for 2 adults and 3 kids). We got there at 10.15am and stayed there all day! We saw 4 shows, the dolphins, seals, birds of prey and the pirates. All were amazing to watch. I have 3 kids age 15, 10 and 5 and all 3 had a fantastic time. The rides were really good, short queues for things but that's to be expected. We didn't manage to do the waterpark but looking around, it looks amazing so definitely have to do that next time. Food was good (chips were the only thing cooked in the fryer so were gluten free, I'm coeliac as well as my daughter and didn't have reactions). This place was clean, tidy and definitely worth a visit if you're in Portugal. I drove my husband and kids there from Tavira in about 45 minutes, well sign posted and easy to get to by car.

Came here whilst on holiday in 2019, half the rides were out of order and this was not mentioned upon arrival. The rides are designed for small children, there is probably only one ride worth going on, and the line for the ride took about half an hour. We stayed for 45 minutes, explained at the door that we were not told that half of the rides were shut down, when we asked for a PARTIAL refund, the staff literally laughed in our faces and refused. On top of it all, we saw rats, cockroaches, and half of the staff were extremely rude. Don’t waste your money, far better parks nearby.

Nice experience and so much fun! The pools were great, just be careful if you go in summer, you probably won't have any space to move. Same thing goes for the food, you will have to wait a long time, specially in the summed but overall, it's worth it

Aquariums and marine mammal theme parks are part of a billion-dollar industry built on the suffering of intelligent social beings who are denied everything that’s natural and important to them. Wild orcas and other dolphins live in large, complex social groups and swim vast distances every day in the open ocean. In captivity, they can only swim in endless circles inside tanks that, to them, are the equivalent of bathtubs and they’re denied the opportunity to engage in almost any natural behavior. They are forced to perform meaningless tricks and are often torn away from family members when they’re shuffled between parks. Many die far short of their species’ natural life expectancy. Families Torn Apart Countless marine animals (even the original Shamu) were taken from their rightful ocean homes and placed in tanks. Tilikum, the orca who lashed out and killed SeaWorld trainer Dawn Brancheau and two other people, died in a concrete prison 33 years after he was taken away from his Icelandic family. Lolita, torn away from her family when she was just a baby, has spent half a century in the same tank at the Miami Seaquarium. Some countries continue to capture wild dolphins and whales. Captivity’s Tragic Consequences Frequently housed with incompatible tankmates, dolphins, whales, and other marine mammals are often drugged in order to manage stress-induced aggressive behavior and relieve the endless monotony of swimming in circles. They break their teeth chewing on the metal bars and concrete sides of their tanks and are forced to perform tricks for tourists in exchange for food—all in the name of entertainment. While wild female orcas can live to be more than 100 years old, orcas at SeaWorld often die by the time they reach their teens and rarely approach even the average life expectancy of wild orcas. More than 40 orcas have died at SeaWorld from causes such as bacterial infections and fractured skulls. More than 300 other dolphins and whales along with approximately 400 pinnipeds have also died at the parks. Governments around the world are also recognizing that dolphins (including orcas) and other cetaceans do not belong in tanks. Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, and Croatia have all banned the practice of keeping cetaceans in captivity. In 2013, India’s Ministry of Environment & Forests banned the practice of keeping dolphins captive for public entertainment. Other countries, including Brazil, Luxembourg, Nicaragua, and Norway, have highly restrictive standards that make it nearly impossible to keep cetaceans in captivity. The last dolphinarium in the U.K. closed more than 20 years ago.

What an amazing place this would be if covid hadn't closed nearly all the attractions. We saw the dolphin show. This was very good. We ate some food. That was it. 35% off at the gate but 2 adults still 44 euros. What a shame. Still 5 stars

Amazing place to spend a day while you are at Faro :) we loved every bit about the place and so did our kids. Don't miss the dolphin show , it's every bit of a hype and money. And lastly do not miss the 'dolphin slushy' , totally worth a day and highly recommended.

Excellent place to visit for families and others alike. We went just as season was over so it wasn’t very busy. This made getting to all the shows really easy. No quests and we saw everything with perfect seats! I can imagine in peak periods the experience would be more typical of any theme park. The shows were all of a very high quality. So recommended. Pirate show, dolphins, birds, seals and 4d show were great. If the weather was hot I would recommend the two day ticket, (but it’s easy to upgrade from 1 to two). One day for the shows and another day for the rides and water. We ate at the buffet bbq place, it was ok. But the price of entry reflected that. The kids loved it. Definitely worth the entry fee. Recommended.

Hello everyone, Year by year, this place is getting worst. The staff are motivated, but the management have no idea what to do or how to lead them. We need to take 6 donuts, and a lady wanted to pile them all up on plates. Asked if they had a box ?? No management doesn't want any. Prices are expensive, but water is a very good value. If you are going to eat in the Burger place, don't go between 12.00 to 15.00 waiting time around 1.hour and half. Food, is so and so, French fries too dry. Crazy after paying for entry of 150, we also have to pay for the beads, 20 euros.. If you want a cap with a picture for your child, do it early, as around 12.00 o'clock he is already booked for the whole day, and he cannot take any more orders until 19.00, he will tell you he only has 2 hands. Waiting for the rides is very time consuming, most rides 25 minutes wait. Everywhere cigarette buds, all around the sand place Nice wave pool and it was quiet around that area, some parts the music is too loud and only oldies. You will be better off going to a slide park if that's what you wanna Do.. Management is totally without any clue what's going on. Tried to give advise on how the day went and how it could have gone better ... Not interested from their side. I don't like animals in captivity, but that's just me .. If you go enjoy...I want be back..

Great place to go and see dolphins, seals, sea lions, some variety of birds, butterflies and fish. Spotlessly clean. The pirate show was brilliant. A few fair grounds rides. Plenty of toilets around the park. A beautiful waterpark where you can go and cool off all within the price . One criticism if you don’t pay for a sun lounger the only place to sit is on the floor (grass) For someone who can’t get off the floor due to disability you have no where to go. There are food courts to eat in or take your food away. Not enough staff serving food . So be prepared to queue. Love the fact that they are trying to educate people to look after our Earth and make the environment a better place and pick up your rubbish. The dolphins show were amazing. Just real sad they are in this show and not in the wild. But the dolphins were originally from Germany where they were in captivity and shipped over. Pity there breeding program didn’t get them back in the wild . But would they survive? The wings of colour which was a bird show was rubbish . To much talking and even though they were talking several different languages so everyone could understand. I hadn’t a clue what was being said. The seal show was brilliant too, educating the different sorts of seal and sea lions and where they can be found in the world. You could go around an aquarium and see sting rays, seahorses, sharks, urchins. I particularly enjoyed the butterflies as so many varieties you can walk around and there is a nursery so you can see them at there different stages of life. There is a small aviary you can also walk around and see some unusual birds. There were turtles also Plenty of car park spaces and free parking. There are discounted prices if you have an Access Card Holder. You can book online. The prices do go up for summer time. My family and I really enjoyed the day and yes we would go back . You could go back the next day for €10 . It wasn’t that busy for Easter so easy to get around.

(Translated by Google) I do not recommend it for adults only. Most of the non-water attractions are closed, at least all the ones not suitable only for children; Ferris wheel, buffalo, pirate ship etc ... The water activities leave much to be desired: -The wave pool gives slaps of water instead of waves and covers a maximum of one meter. - The rare and small slides. In some, not enough water runs so you stop halfway. -The most interesting is the Jurassic River where there are eternal queues. -Some of the staff at those attractions are very unpleasant. -They do not open first thing in the morning, the most interesting ones open from 1pm to 6pm. -There is only a minimum area where to plant the towel, the rest is paid. 3D cinema movies are very very short. The shows : -The sea lion is in a small pool, as well as "housed" in small spaces (in my opinion). - What's great is the dolphin show; highly trained staff, suitable pool and very well cared for. - The birds are also very good. As for the rest of the zoo: - I was sad to see the turtles in a mini-puddle and the crocodile in a small space ... among others. Restaurant prices are not bad. Regarding Covid measures. The staff tried to keep them strictly depending on where you were. In the pools and in the queues, distances were not kept nor is there a capacity limit. You can walk without a mask. In shows and others they have it very controlled. With all this, the tickets seemed somewhat expensive, but I think about the maintenance of the animals, salaries etc ... and I can understand it.

Fantastic place for kids, only 15 minutes from old town, lots of animals, turtles, alligators, birds etc also really extensive sea life centre with sharks and lots of exotic fish and stingrays. Kids water parks and beaches are very good, only downside is 15 euro for sunbed hire by kids play area also the same at the man-made beach. Lockers available and food good also. Really clean, tidy and modern. The sea lion show is free with entry cost and is amazing, A MUST SEE!! also dolphin show but extra charge per person. Would definitely go again.

Good option for kids entertainment. It is a nice place to spent a full day, especially for the dolphins, birds or seals/sea lions programs. They were really nice and full with useful informations. The water slides and the “dry” attraction are not quite “high end”, but you can fill your time with them. There are some restaurants inside, but you can also bring your own food&beverages. There is also a picnic area near one of the pools.

Great place to visit whilst on your holidays. My hotel was 30minute coach journey which isn’t bad. The shows are great only managed to see the seal show due to the timing for other shows and activities. To do everything would be best over 2 days. Food and drink prices are reasonable. To use the pools and water the lockers are €5 and €5 deposit which you get back once the key has been handed back in. Good ride selection for children and adults to take part also.

Superb aqua/adventure park. Primarily a water park so take towel, costume, flip flops/sliders. Floor can be too hot to walk on but most rides end where they started so you leave footwear and collect at end. Dolphin show very good. Seals/Sea Lion show quite basic. Lots of good rides. Plenty of ice cream & cafes. During busy period the sunbeds all get hired early. Take a sun umbrella if you plan on lying on grass. Shuts at 19:30 so you can enjoy until evening. Would recommend.

It's a great day out for children and adults. There are lots of rides and pools you can swim in. Also, there are marine exhibits sealions with their own show, Dolphins, with their own show, and if you extra a chance for adults and children to get into a lagoon to touch and have photos taken with the Dolphins. I did this with my granddaughter] an exceptional experience. If you are competent swimmers for a little extra, you get to swim with the Dolphins. There are also parrots and all sorts of birds there and flying exhibitions. There are plenty of restaurants with good quality food.

It is a special place for the little ones. The dolphins show is amazing. The park is well maintained and there's plenty to do for 1 or even 2 days. We went in times of the COVID and the park was well prepared to receive less visitors. However, some of the facilities were closed (such as the Jurassic River and the rollercoaster). Although interesting, we were expecting more from the seals and the pirates shows.

Great day for me and my family..very obvious that the venue was covid secure..we had a great day..the shows were of a very high standard and had a fantastic audience participation that made them more enjoyable..in our opinion..the most enjoyable show was the dolphins..we saw some very happy dolphins showing their very exceptional talents....this was down to the relationship with the human trainers..it was so obvious the dolphins assistants enjoyed the time with the dolphins...you could see the affection that was shared ....so thankyou to them both...keep doing what you are doing it works so well..It seems a very generalised opinion but the venue has been a great experience and we will be back on the next occasion we visit the algarve..so thanks again...

This place is fantastic! If you're on the south coast of Portugal, definitely give this place a go, especially if you have kids. There's a lot for all ages, from a slow train and merry-go-round for the really young kids, to a couple of slightly faster fairground style rides for those a few years older. That's before you even get to the bird shows and the dolphin shows. There's an aquarium with all sorts of fish and crustaceans, as well as other animals dotted around the grounds, like tortoises. Then there's the 5 or 6 different pools, a slow lazy river ride, and a dinosaur one too. A small climbing frame pool for toddlers, a slightly larger one for pre teens, a large flume slide for the older kids and a wave pool. There's a tonne to do, and they offer a discount on your second day if you don't get it all done in one day, which you won't! The food was even reasonable, normally at places like this it's overpriced and horrible. The kids had a "happy meal" style thing with nuggets, chips and a toy, the wife and I had a burger and a tapas dish which were actually really nice and not too over priced. Get in early if you want to reserve a sun bed / shade. With Covid etc not all are able to be used, but if you get one you purchase it for the whole day. If you do miss the beds there's plenty of grass space where you can put down a towel and a beach umbrella. You can rent the umbrellas from the same place you rent the sun beds / shades, for a little less than the beds / shades. They do provide lockers and shower facilities too, but we didn't use those.

Nice place, a great variety of activities, but I feel missing more enthusiasm from the staff and the adoption of social distancing during the covid pandemic. There are nobody looking on that. The cinema 4D was a deception, so don't loose your time on that( a dino movie of 5 min with a poor 3D and a nonsense water spraying).

A bit crowded in August but it is a top notch park. The animal shows are very good, and the water park is quite acceptable given that it is not the focus of Zoomarine. The Dinosaur boat ride is also fun, and you also have a small amount of amusement rides through the park that are fun enough for the kids. You can eat in Zoomarine, but mostly fast food. It is a good idea to take your own lunch if that is an option. There is a lot of parking for cars, but it will get crowded soon. Get there as early as possible.

  • 5/5 neilcee66 11 months ago on Google
Very good theme park, most would need two days to explore it all. The dolphin and seal shows are fantastic, it is lovely to see the love and care the trainer's have for them. Also the pirate show is a lot of fun. It's very clean and well looked after, well worth the entrance fee, also the band's that you can put money on are handy so you don't have to carry cash or your phone with you and it's refundable at the end of you don't spend it all. Although it doesn't work on the drinks machine's so you might need cash for them. It's recommended to get there before 10am so you can fit it all in if your only there for a day also there is a very good app to plain your day.

  • 4/5 ivor t. 11 months ago on Google
Two day pass is definitely worth the extra ten euro per person. You then have days to use the second day. All shows timed so you can go to each one through out the day. But you want to stop off at the wave pool kids area slides etc etc. Food was not overly priced. Burger meal under 10 euro. My advise go in head to pool area pay 10/15 for 2 sun loungers in shade and head off to the shows / slides then pop back re group relax and head off again.

  • 5/5 chris w. 1 year ago on Google
Brilliant, timetable given on the gate so you can get to all the shows in between everything else, food is actually really good from the splash cafe and reasonably priced wrap meal was I think 9 euros. Probably need two days to see it all and enjoy the water park bits. Dolphin and seal show is incredible

  • 5/5 Sylvia S. 1 year ago on Google
Fantastic day spent at Zoo marine with my family. We didn't go on the rides but spent the whole day watching the various different displays and seeing the animals etc. We took a picnic which we ate near the exhibits and bought drinks and ice cream. We were all older visitors but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely recommend it to family and friends. Would need another whole day to experience the water park section but it's discounted if you do 2 consecutive days.

Went on a spontaneous trip with my girlfriend here. We never thought we would visit here as we thought it was more for families. We were wrong, we had a fun day out seeing Dolphins, seals, exotic birds, turtles, crocodiles and other animals. We also had fun going through the water park going down the slides. It left us with loving memories to share for a lifetime. Thank you

  • 5/5 Alex P. 1 year ago on Google
Loved loved the place. The shows with the animals and the learning that they provide during said shows it's amazing. Really good for kids. Loads of things to do and really fun. The entrance was €27/person and we bought tickets for the 2nd day from inside the park for €10/person. One day wasn't enough for us, besides we wanted to see the dolphins again 😁

  • 5/5 Funlola O. 1 year ago on Google
O wow! There is so much to do that you could be confused to be honest. Book for 2 days! You get a discount for the second day. Day 1 could be the presentations and different animal enclosures leaving day 2 for the rides, slides and beach. The beach water was salty which I didn't expect. You can rent lockers that fit 2 bags for 5 euro. Locker rental ends at 530pm. You have to pay an additional 5 euro deposit for the locker but you get it back. Getting there early and booking a cabana with lounge chairs is worth the 15 euro tag. You have it for the whole day and can leave your non valuable stuff on it while you go round and swim. The food was nice. Can't fault it at all. We did the dolphin emotions. Pricey but worth the experience in my opinion

  • 5/5 Michael L. 10 months ago on Google
What a fantastic venue for all families. Highly recommend the Dolphin show. We purchased tickets in advance to avoid the queue. There are plenty of water based fun for all children. They also had a buffet with good amount of choice of food.

Great fun during Dolphin encounter, absolutely once in a life time experience with two dolphins in the water shared between two groups of six people (35 min in pool with them). Otherwise, the Park is great fun with interesting shows and some water rides.

  • 4/5 Joao S. 10 months ago on Google
The dolphin show was really nice. The park offers much more activities, but it's overcrowded and there are lines everywhere. Do not forget to bring a big bag of patience 😂. It was a weekday and parking was almost full, there was already big traffic jam on the road before.

  • 4/5 Gary 10 months ago on Google
