The location is near to where we lived. Restaurant always full during lunch and dinner time. Waiters are so welcome, polite, nice and very attentive to our needs. Wr had seafood stew and steak..the portion is so big and we can shared it to others. The food is so good and delicious with fresh fish and shrimp. Steak also very tasty with mushroom sauce and potatoes as side dish. The dessert is so yummy and not so sweet just perfect taste for us. Really HIGH recommended restaurant when you are in Carcavelos, Portugal.

A bit disappointed. Service was pretty slow and the prices are too high for the servings! Had picanha with banana which was really good but a bit salty,fried squid with tint but it didn’t arrive with tint and it took an hour to be served! They put a lot of side dishes and I mean a lot but the meat or fish itself is barely any quantity! It was good but not worth it!

Excellent place for fish and wine

For a no-nonsense grilled meal, this place is good, and the prices are completely fair. Grilled steak & dourada, chips, sautéed veges, migas, 1/2 bottle of red, couvert and dessert; less than €50. Not cheap, but not expensive either; the meat, wine and fish were all first class and all portions were large. Staff were also extremely friendly. If you are in Carcavelos & hungry, go here.

Very poor service. Rude, disrespectful and extremely slow. The food is average. Sardines are ok, but, overall the dishes are very oily. I got a strong indigestion last time. Under my experience, it looks like foreigners are not very welcome in this place. Hope some other people had a better experience.

We had lunch on the terrace. It was lovely. The food was delicious and the staff very nice. What a great place to celebrate mum’s birthday.

Excellent grilled robalo on a Friday noon. Skin was perfectly toasted, meat/flesh was moist and oil, garlic and cilantro seasoning was perfect for me. One of the best fish dishes ever. Friendly staff and superior value.

It's always a pleasure to come here. The covert with the goat cheese is irresistible. My favourite dish is picanha com banana, but you can ask for ANYTHING and it will be good.

Let me tell you what spectacular is. This place. From the picanha to the pork, the flavor was divine. The staff very attentive, and overall an enjoyable experience for the price. 11/10

Went to dinner there my girlfriend and I, we ordered beef a cortador, it was very bad meet quality and chewy! The restaurant is responsible about it, but. They ignored us despite the fact we complained twice! Don't waste your money there, we paid as decent people, but, will never put my foot there again!

We love going here and dining outside with the dogs. Food is excellent and service is good.

Average-good meat skewers, nice choice of Portuguese traditional food. Very noisy and not very quick. The space is not very much between tables. Not that easy to park but you finally manage.

Good service and price. There are no vegetarian main dish, but you can work with the sides. Two other friends had fish, portion was quite big and tasty.

Amazing food at good prices. Best quality meat and fish. Wine Is best. We found this place in May and it will be our go to restaurant even visiting carcevelous. Authentic Portuguese food at its best. Need to book if you don't get there when they open, it gets packed
