We had lunch here during a day trip and it was amazing. The decor is adorable, the food is incredible and Augustine provided great service. I highly recommend making this a stop during your next visit. The wine was delicious and only $3.50!

One week ago I went to the beautiful Cascais and, after a lovely morning on the beach, I decided to have a lunch. After an accurate research, I came across this lovely place, that immediately caught my attention. Sonia was lovely, so I decided to have lunch here (outdoor). The place is lovely, full of colors, a thing I love. The dishes were plentiful and tasty, just like I like it. Moreover, I took a fresh fruit extract: heavenly ! Anyway, Sonia’s kindness was very important to me.

What a great find! This was our favourite meal during our stay in Portugal, we were greeted with a smile and made to feel at home. The Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly, I really can't recommend this place highly enough. We had the Seabass and Sardines

A great little gem right in the middle of Cascaes. Family owned and run by mostly women, it has all the great Portuguese flavors and dishes. The food was amazing including the tuna tartar, the gambas and the sea bass. Even the fresh juice was great. And the service amazing with a smile and warmth. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

This place is such a VIBE ! We really recommend it, the food is amazing and delicious. Well prepared, quality is great. Wine is so good. The prices are normal and the details are so cute. We ate fish and pasta, and we are all so satisfied. Desserts are delicious 🥰

Nice little restaurant at a plaza close to the water. The staff is super nice and friendly, and speaks English very well. Definitely try the bread and pate spread and the sea bass. The octopus salad is very refreshing as well.

This is a lovely outdoor restaurant for lunch on a warm day. It’s nestled under large trees which make this a very comfortable place to dine. We had the tuna salad and the prawn salad. The ingredients were simple yet so flavoursome. Beautifully presented and very colourful display on each plate. Bread and tapenade provided to each table. These are lovely, impossible to resist when put in front of you. But just be aware that you will be charged extra for these. €2.20 for bread and €4.40 for tapenade. This is called out on the menu.

Octopus salad 2/5 do not recommend Tuna with avocado 5/5 Bacalao rice 4/5 Sardines 5/5 Really good place. There is a giant tree that gives a nice shadow and atmosphere to the place. The food is great and good size! Don’t order the octopus though it isn’t good.

I loved my meal. It was exactly what was needed after a long day. This is the grilled sea bream. Excellent but simple flavor with adorable presentation. Great service!

We had the prawns with chili & garlic and grilled doraude. The fish was tasty and fresh, but the prawns stealed the show, supertasty sauce with fresh garlic oven-bakes and crusty bread. The ambiance in this place is alao very chill and it’s a pleasure to sit under the shade of the huge trees surrounding the plaza

Sonia was a wonderful host and the food was extraordinary. I enjoyed sardines for appetizers and a whole fish for lunch. Of course along with a tasty bottle of Sonia’s recommended white wine bottle or 2 :)

A beautiful afternoon in Cascais. This restaurant was a delight. We were given starters of olive tapenade with fresh bread, which was perfect. White wine and sea bream that was cooked to perfection. Tables and chairs in a pretty area outside the restaurant had a great ambiance.

Extremely disappointed. I paid 15,50 for the main dish with clams expecting to have my stomach partially filled just like a normally sane customer. But what I got was some sad little clams. I was so angry I didn't want to touch the clams.

Sonia is sweet. The restaurant is cute, clean and colorful. The food is great. We had the sardines and sea bass💕👍 Highly recommend it.

Delicious seafood and great service. We tried the facade beans salad with cod fish, the octopus salad and sardines. Everything was really tasty. The only discontentment was the price difference from their website and the actual menu, which were €1 more. Other than that a great overall experience.

First time visiting this part of Portugal and stumbled upon this cute restaurant and so glad we did. Beautiful location. Staff are attentive and friendly, food amazing, fresh and super tasty especially the homemade chilli sauce. The bread and pates are amazing to start too! Had a lovely meal followed by coffee. Portuguese steak and spaghetti with clams. Definitely recommend and hope to visit again next time.

Amazing little restaurant! I’m fall in love with octopus salad, it’s one of best dishes in Lisboa❤️ I also recommend to try pate from sardines with fresh bread and olives paste. Friendly staff, lovely veranda outside and delicious food- what more could I want?☺️

Reviewed June 12, 2023 Hidden Gem I have been coming to Cascais for several years, except the two years of pandemic, never noticed this small family restaurant right in the middle of town on the quieter side of the street. I must have walked passed it on the other side hundreds times. Sonia, the lovely lady owner told me her parents started this restaurant (when?) and she is the second generation, her mom is still the chef. I had a very flavorful sea bass grilled to perfection. I’m so glad I found this place now added to my favorite Cascais restaurant list. It’s a pity that they are constrained by the indoor space, meaning they have to rely on good weather for the outdoor seating.

I'll start by saying the three dishes we odered were very tasty (fava beans, clams, sea bream). The fresh juice was brought to us in a hot glass, so it was very warm. The server brought us a glass of ice when we complained (fine, but at 5.5 euro for a juice I would have appreciated they at least pretended to bring a fresh one). We were not brought the standard bread, olives and pate (couberto, which is not free, but this is standard in Portugal). We ordered bread anyway and were brought 3 half slices of bread and an entire plate of packaged toastettes, most of which were broken. A strange choice for a 2.20 euro "bread" menu item. All in all I would recommend the food, but skip the couberto and maybe don't go towards the end of the day.

Nice and cozy local place. It has a nice atmosphere. On our visit the serving was not perfect, asked for the clamps without garlic and had to send it back because it came with garlic. The tuna steak was really good.

😐 So, firstly, the food here was very good! The starters were very tasty and huge portions (so beware unless you're really hungry), and the pizzas we had were delicious. And if you have a table by the window facing the sea, the view is lovely. However... overall experience was soured by poor service....

👍👍 Perfection. Spider crab was very well cooked, and was cut and set to eat with least effort. Steamed octopus was so tender and seafood rice had rich taste. And all the foods went so well with green wine. Wish I could visit again.
